Hearing this Boyd was shocked. He didn't think they were so deep. Erica standing in the side was also in shock from this statement.

Boyd now knew why Max was so p.i.s.sed with him, so he said, "I'm sorry, man. I just wanted a life for myself. But I didn't think you guys were this close and I was messing up your life. Sorry man, I understand."

Max smiled hearing this. Then he looked towards everyone, as his eyes landed in Derek and he nodded towards him. After that Derek came to Boyd and brought him some food.

Allison at this time asked, "What's taking Scott and Stiles so long?"

Max frowned hearing this and just as he was about to call Scott, a jeep sound was heard. He looked at Allison and said, "Looks like they're here."

But soon Stiles came running in agitatedly and shouted, "Guys, trouble. I went to Scott's, he wasn't there and his house was all messed up and I tried calling him, but I couldn't reach him. I feel like something's up."

Max thought about last night's ambush and said, "Guys, last night me and Selena were ambushed by nearly a 100 berserkers. If Scott is really missing, I think at that time he was taken."

Everyone was shocked hearing this. Especially the new betas {Isaac, Erica and Boyd}. They could barely fight against a few of them, hearing Max say that they were ambushed by nearly a 100 berserkers sounded like a fairytale to them.

Max knew what they were thinking so he said, "I think you guys should follow me."

As he was about to leave, he remembered something then he turned towards the kitchen and shouted, "D, were going out. You wanna join us?"

Divina hearing this shouted from the kitchen, "One second."

Max thought of something and said to Stiles, "Stiles, I don't think you'll be able to do anything to these breakers, so if they show up just carry her and run. Her safety is in your hands. If anything happens to her, you're dead meat."

Max then turned to Allison and said, "Ally, you stay with mom and dad. Make sure they don't leave anywhere. And surround the house with mountain ash."

Allison wanted to join them, but looking at the serious eyes of Max and also thinking of her parents she nodded to him and decided to stay in home.

Soon Divina came in, and Max introduced her to everyone, "Guys, this is Divina. She's a friend from New Orleans. She's gonna be staying in Beacon Hills from now on."

Everyone introduced themselves. But they were still skeptical about this new girl. They didn't know why Max bought this girl here, but everyone had a tact agreement not to pry her personal info as long as she didn't say anything.

Max looked towards everyone and told them to follow him.

As Max and others reached the place where last night's ambush happened, everyone was gasping at the destruction. Stiles looked at Max and asked, "Dude, what kind of bomb did you use here? s.h.i.t! Looks like everything is burnt up. No wonder you escape from a 100 berserkers."

Boyd and Erica were sweating thinking of this. They didn't expect Max to be this brutal. Max just looked at Stiles and said, "It's something new I've been working on. I didn't expect it to come in handy like this." he laughed as he said this.

Derek looked at this and asked, "So why are we here?"

Max said, "The reason is, I couldn't sense anyone when they attacked me. I couldn't sense the berserkers, and I couldn't sense if Jackson was here."

Everyone was confused hearing this. Max knew this and said, "The thing is I have some techniques which can help me locate whoever I want within a certain distance. Just like I did with Stiles. I was able to sense him when he was kidnapped."

Erica who was silent suddenly said, "Then why don't you try and find Scott?"

Max looked at her and said, " That's the thing. I think after I found out where Stiles was Jackson knew that I can sense Stiles, so I think he did something to Scott and I'm not able to sense him."

Isaac said, "Then we should be searching for him throughout the town, right?"

Derek said, "Just let him finish."

Max nodded to Derek and continued, "I want you guys to find any remains of berserkers in this area. I want to see if I can sense anything from them."

Everyone thought about it and felt that it was appropriate. Derek said, "Don't move alone. Pair up everyone."

As usual, Max was with Selena, Boyd with Erica, Isaac with Derek and finally Stiles with Divina and they all moved their separate ways.

While Divina was with Stiles, Stiles asked her, "What were you doing in New Orleans?"

She just said, "I'm a witch."

Stiles knew that, so he asked her another question, "How did you meet Max?"

Stiles waved at her and said, "I'm not one of them wolves. I'm one hundred percent human. See, I don't have fangs." And he opened his mouth wide and showed it to her.

Divina started laughing at him again and said, "You're weird."

Stiles also laughed at this. As they made their way Stiles found a berserker half buried in the Earth and decided to check it out.

Divina looked at him and said, "Careful, okay?"

Stiles have a thumbs up and nodded. When be went close to it, the berserker suddenly reached out to grab his feet. Stiles just jumped up and hit it with his bat. But to his demise the berserker caught his bat. He shouted, "s.h.i.t!"And went back to Divina.

He told her, "Hop on my back."

Divina looked at him weirdly, "What do you mean?"

Stiles said, "You're slow while running. Just Hop on." As he was saying this, the berserker almost got up. Divina saw this and jumped on.

Stiles started running while carrying her, as he shouted, "Guys, I got a live one here! I got a live one!!"

Divina was just watching him and said, "You left your baby(baseball bat) there."

Stiles just said, "I can get a new baby later. But if anything happened to you, then that would be unimaginable." Divina blushed hearing this and thinking how much he cared.

But Stiles was thinking (If anything were to happen to you Max will kill me. And that dude is serious as s.h.i.t) as he continued running.
