While Max was flying he was thinking about his new challenges that he'd face. He knew that if he plans to kill Hayley he'd have to face the Mikaelsons vampires and the witches.

He was sure that he'd be able to take care of himself if he were to fight those vampires, but he wasn't so sure about the witches. As far as he had heard, witches were always the tricky ones. So he decided to have a backup plan when facing the coven.

As soon as he said this the witches started to chant their spells in weird languages. Max was feeling like he was being forced to the ground, but he held on until more of the witches started to join in with the ones casting spells, soon the pressure continued to increase and he was unable to stand and kneeled.

Many witches were surprised by Max's immense strength. To average humans, only one of the witches needed to chant a spell and make them faint from the pressure, but this guy here was holding on when almost all of their coven were trying to pressure him Soon they saw Max go*poof* and turned into smoke right in front of their eyes.

As soon as they saw this they regretted it instantly. They knew that Marcel could teach their usage of magic, now that most of the coven used their magic, they were sure that Marcel would come for them.

Marcel frowned and asked, "Where and how many?"

Marcel looked how panicked Divina was and immediately called out most of his vampire buddies and went off with vampire speed.

Sophia came in front of the witches and turned to Marcel and said, "We didn't use magic to search for Divina. We were just defending ourselves from him." and pointed at Max.

Max was having an headache hearing this. Marcel looked at Max and the ki b.a.l.l.s in each of the Max's hand and thought that it was magic and said, "Dude, you don't come into my town and break the rules set here. You gotta following the rules. Well, we all know what the rules are."

At this moment, Marcel saw the ki ball but he didn't feel anything, he only thought that it was one of the restraining magic the witches usually use which he was almost immune to, but soon he heard a shout from Klaus from somewhere, "Marcel!! Get back!!"

But it was too late. The ki ball incinerated his entire left arm. He was screaming in pain, while everyone else gasped at this scene. Marcel was lucky that he was wearing his day light ring in his right hand or he would've burned to death in the sun.
