Soon a cab came in. Everyone hopped in. When they were half way to Scott's home, Max's phone started ringing. Max took out his phone and received it. His mom asked him a call tone, "Where are you, Max?"

Max had a ominous premonition hearing that voice, so he quickly said, "Mom, there a study group at one of my friends. Me and Allison will be stuck here for a while. Bye." And he hung up the call.

Scott and others we're starting at him weirdly. Max asked in a annoyed tone, "What?"

Allison just giggled and said, "You know she'll find out that you're lying."

In the Argent house, Victoria was boiling with rage when she heard Max in phone. She only saw the shattered door in front of her now which Max broke when he left running from the house.
