The Cataclysmic World Of Alheira 27 Special Chapter: Taking A Break

Ayumi, Koneko and I have been living under the same roof as Mr. Arthur. He has become our teacher, mentor, trainer, and father. We've spent the last couple of weeks recovering and the other last weeks of doing jobs. Words have traveled that the murderer named Yakiro has saved a village.

Granted, the village and its people rewarded us with food, medicine, money, items, clothes and other things you can imagine. It wasn't much but we had gladly accepted it. We've done adventuring, escorting and even dungeon hunting.

Until now, we've hidden the truth about the slaughter and about Ayumi. I accepted the burden and some people still continued to call me a murderer. However, some saw me as a savior. Things probably changed a bit and I didn't have to wear a mask anymore. Elena hasn't made her move yet so we've spent the last days training and practicing.

Under the provision of Mr. Arthur, I had been accepted in a guild called Cosmic Troupe.

We've never pa.s.sed beyond level thirty. It seems that we need to limit break in order for us to surpa.s.s the level cap. Mr. Arthur told us that the only way we could ever achieve a limit break is to find one of the three maidens that bless the land of the living.

We could work right now, take quests, but we decided to take a day off by the hot spring.

"Ooooh. This water feels great!" I said as I dipped my body whole in the hot spring. It was soothing and the water was just right.

I can feel all the pain and stress go away. The spring was known for its holy and healing properties. Knowing that this hot spring is very well-known, we decided to book it for the four of us. On the other side of the hot spring is the girls.

I want to peek but it's not my personality. I'm not into perverted things like that. People say I'm a coward back when I was alive in my world, but I just didn't seem to see what's so great about peeking.

"Shhh, Koneko... He'll hear us..."

"But don't you wanna see master's wee-wee?"

"Koneko... shhhhh..."

On the other hand, I'm being peeked by these two girls right now. I might as well play along.

I stretched my hands wide as I could and spoke:

"Geez. The spring is great! Maybe I should go out and 'face the other way!'" I spoke the last sentence in an obvious tone.

"Ohooooo..." I can feel their eyes widen and their excitement permeates through the air.

"Master is gonna turn this way nee-sama..."

"Yes yes let's see... hehehe..."

The nerve of these girls! I should probably tease them.

"Hmmm. I should turn now." I said as I turn halfway through but then I stopped and returned back in the hot spring.

I could hear their sighs and gasps. They felt disappointed.

"Let's wait..."

I stood once again and repeated what I did.

"On the other hand, maybe I should stay."

"Tsk..."

"Master is taking too long to turn this way..."

I can feel the impatience spread thickly through the air. They are really looking forward to seeing my manliness. Maybe I should or maybe I shouldn't. It kinda feels weird that these girls are acting like this yet I feel a slight of satisfaction.

It was then I decided to just reward them with what they want. I stood and took my towel, I laid it on my shoulder and slowly turned to their direction. I just saw blood drip down the hole by the wall.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The screams of these two girls echoed through the hot spring.

It was already lunch time and we decided to eat. I opened the door and they were inside. The two of them had pieces of cotton clogged up in their noses.

"What's wrong with the two of you?"

I asked and suddenly their faces turned bright red.

"I-it's n-none o-of y-your busi-business, I-idiot!" Ayumi fl.u.s.tered replied with a stuttering voice.

Koneko, on the other hand, avoided contact with me. She was biting her lip and her eyes were whirling with confusion.

Ayumi was avoiding eye contact with me too. I sat on the other side of the table, in front of her.

"Eh!" Her body sent shaking from her feet to the top of her head. Her cowlick hair started to move softly.

I stared at her but she continued to avoid contact with me. She was pouting her lips and her cheeks were blushing. I heard her giggle as she started to remember something. Drool dripped down from her lips with her eyes in deep imagination.

"Heh... Heh heh..."

"What's wrong, Ayumi?"

"Ay!" She returned back to reality and her eyes were whirling. I leaned near her and her face started to redden even more. Boy, I just love teasing her.

"I-idiot! W-what are you doing?"

"Ahhh? Maybe I should..." I leaned next to her ear and she started shivering violently.

Poof... I blew air into her ear.

"AAAAAY!" She screamed.

"Hahahaha look at you!"

Koneko transformed into her cat form and run out of the window. Looks like she couldn't handle the pressure.

I started laughing at her while pointing my finger on her reddened face.

"Geez! Idiot Yakiro!" She threw a pillow at me. I threw one back.

We glared angrily at each other and we started to fight with pillows. We were laughing and enjoying our little pillow fight. When she tried to bat me with a pillow, I blocked it and grabbed her hand. I pulled her close to me.

"Ayumi-chan..."

"Wha! What are you doing, pervert?!"

"Oh, nothing. I just want to see up close your cute face." I don't know why but I was feeling too c.o.c.ky. Maybe all I wanted was to enjoy this moment. The world is a h.e.l.lish place and sometimes, we just need to take a day off.

"Look at you two love birds." Mr. Arthur went inside with a hot pot of soup.

Ayumi pushed me away and sat on the chair by the table.

"Koneko! It's time to eat now!"

And things went back to normal as soon as the day had pa.s.sed.
