Little Cutie, Come Here (13)
It had already been almost twenty minutes since cla.s.s ended. Other than Xie Fei and Su Yin, everyone else had immediately rushed out of the cla.s.sroom, quick as an arrow, to get lunch.
Su Yin flipped almost to the very end of the tests before she found hers. Seeing the harsh red 67, she heaved a deep sigh internally.
She pulled her test out of the stack. Without looking through it, she shoved it into her desk. She poked Xie Fei's side, looking dispirited. "I'm done with my things."
Hearing her, Xie Fei turned off his phone and tucked it in his pocket. He stood up, getting ready to walk out, but he turned to look at Su Yin sitting unmoving in her seat. He paused, turning around. The corner of his mouth lifted slightly. "What's wrong? Is little Su Yin's belly forged in iron? You're not hungry?"
Su Yin's feet were perched side-by-side on her seat, her arms hugging her knees and her chin propped up on her knees. She looked up at Xie Fei pathetically, pouting with her cheeks puffed out.
Xie Fei smiled, reaching out to pinch her cheek. He would never get tired of it. "Not happy? You're pouting so much you could hang a watering can on your mouth."
Su Yin glared at him. She turned away, not letting him pinch, and pulling a long face. "I only got 67 points in math, even lower than the last checkpoint test. What do I do if it stays like this?"
"You're worrying over such a little thing?" Xie Fei laughed quietly, his voice low and bewitching. "If it stays like this your pretty face will be full of wrinkles."
He was making fun of her again!
Su Yin rolled her eyes, retorting, "How is it a little thing? I'm not like you. I can't not study and still get full points. To me, math is really hard, okay!"
Although she sounded angry, her tone was as though she was playing coy.
She slightly contrasted against the sunlight coming through the window. Her glossy black hair was tied up high, the cute scrunchie moving with her every action. A few wisps of hair curled mischievously by her ears.
There was no need to talk about her palm-sized face beginning to pout. Her fair cheeks were bright, her little mouth pouting unhappily. Her huffy appearance was absolutely adorable.
Xie Fei's heart quivered. A sweet, soft feeling rose up in his chest.
His lips rose slightly. Very casually, he took a step towards Su Yin. He leaned closer, bending his waist, one hand tucked in his pocket and the other resting on the back of her seat. His smiling eyes looked at her, shining.
Su Yin's breathing slowed. She lifted her head, her clear almond-shaped eyes staring at Xie Fei in a daze. Her long eyelashes fluttered out of nervousness. The arms circling her knees unconsciously tightened on her sleeves. A red flush slowly crawled up on her pale face.
Her lips felt dry. Her throat had also went dry. Su Yin swallowed her saliva twice, unconsciously licking her lips.
Xie Fei's gaze darkened. In the next moment, his eyes turned deep and calm.
Under his scalding gaze, Su Yin's cheeks turned hot. She couldn't hold back any longer and ducked away, but Xie Fei's hands and eyes were quick. He pinched her chin and lowered his head, then kissed her.
H-h-he was kissing her!
Th-th-this… This was her first kiss!
Su Yin's eyes turned wide in shock. Her mind was blank. In the moment their lips touched, she was completely stunned.
The hand in Xie Fei's pockets had risen to the back of Su Yin's head. Their breaths slowly sped up, getting hotter. The scalding heat was burned on their cheeks.
Xie Fei paused slightly, taking the opportunity to breach her last line of defense. His tongue separated her teeth and dove in, sweeping her mouth fiercely. When Su Yin was unable to withstand it, he retreated tactfully.
In one moment it was as wild as a hurricane, and in another moment, it was like a gentle breeze and a light rain. It was a strength and dominance impossible to refuse.
Su Yin's cheeks seared bright red. Her eyelashes couldn't resist from fluttering twice.
Xie Fei took her into his arms. With a slight effort, he spun her into the air. Su Yin hugged him tightly in shock. In the next moment, she was set onto the table.
"What are you…"
Before she finished speaking, Xie Fei's hands were already on the edges of the table. They supported his body as he leaned down again.
As his face got closer and closer, Su Yin's heartbeat sped up.
His eyes turned dark. She could only feel her vision turning more and more blurry, right until it went completely out of focus. As though she was obeying her heart, she slowly closed her eyes.
He kissed her. His breath fanned out over her cheeks.
Just when Su Yin felt like she couldn't breathe anymore, Xie Fei finally stopped. He leaned his forehead against hers. After a long time, he slowly opened his eyes, looking straight at her flushed face.
Her almond-shaped eyes stared at his expression blearily. A sparkling tear clung to her fluttering eyelashes. She looked indescribably cute.
Xie Fei's heart softened. He pulled her into his chest, his voice hoa.r.s.e and low. "During the night cla.s.s, I'll teach you math."
Su Yin's ears tingled. She felt a numbing line of electricity travel from her ears to her heart, then to her four limbs. She unconsciously shivered.
She nestled herself into the crook of Xie Fei's neck, every breath filled with his clean and pleasant scent. After a long time, she said softly, "En."
Xie Fei's mood became very pleasant. His lips quirked in a satisfied smile. Slowly and seductively, he said, "If you do a problem wrong, I'll punish you to give me a kiss like that."
Su Yin's tender face turned red. After a long time, a m.u.f.fled hum came from his chest. "En."

In the blink of an eye, two weeks pa.s.sed. They were already halfway through the gym cla.s.s for the semester. For today's lesson, the teacher made arrangements for the last unit—trick shots1.
The teacher only gave a quick demonstration before giving every group a few basketb.a.l.l.s and letting them go practice. When girls who didn't understand parts came to ask him, he even had them go directly to find their male cla.s.smates to teach them.
Su Yin was also a member of the basketball dummies. Today, before going to gym cla.s.s, the director of the grade had called Xie Fei away fro some reason. He still hadn't come back, so she could only practice blindly under the basketball net.
Jiang Hui saw her from a distance and came walking towards Su Yin.
He didn't spare a single thought towards the girls around him asking for his help or think about Wei Xiaoqin watching from the shade of the trees, either, because in that moment his eyes and heart only had Su Yin's clumsy silhouette. He didn't want to miss this honest opportunity to interact with Su Yin.
Su Yin recalled the gym teacher's demonstration. She dribbled the ball with two hands, advancing hesitantly. She jumped, shooting. There was a clatter, and the basketball smacked against the rim of the hoop, falling back to the ground. She clapped her hands in disappointment, preparing to go retrieve the ball, when she heard a laugh from behind her. "You don't know how to play basketball? Let me teach you."
Su Yin froze, turning to look at the person behind her. Jiang Hui stood there wearing a red and white basketball jersey, a few wisps of hair sticking to his sweaty forehead. A basketball was clamped between his right arm and his waist. His handsome face was slightly red, his gaze looking at her with nervousness and antic.i.p.ation.
"Thank you, there's no need to bother," Su Yin rejected him calmly.
Jiang Hui's bright, youthful appearance was extremely conspicuous and his clear and open smile was extremely attractive, but for some reason Su Yin didn't seeing him.
"It's no bother. To me, it's just a little thing. In the school, I'm one of the best basketball players. If I teach you, you'll definitely learn quickly," Jiang Hui said proudly.
Su Yin laughed dryly. She and Jiang Hui didn't even have any connections. She didn't know why he suddenly came over to her, but…
Thinking of what Xie Fei had said firmly to her before he left, she immediately shook her head. "Thank you, but there's already someone who promised to teach me how to play." She turned to look at the girls who kept peeking at them from not far away. "I think they probably need your help even more."
As she spoke, Su Yin picked up her ball, preparing to leave the hornet's nest. But Jiang Hui stepped in front of her, blocking her way.
"What, you're still waiting for that brat Xie Fei to come and teach you?" Jiang Hui snorted in contempt. "I've known him for three years, but I've never seen him play basketball in public. If it isn't that he doesn't know how to play, then he's probably just an amateur. Is he still willing to come out and make a fool of himself?"
Su Yin's face darkened. She didn't want to talk with him anymore. She turned towards the right, but Jiang Hui blocked her again. Su Yin angrily went to throw her ball in his face, but as soon as she raised her head, he blocked her strongly
The basketball bounced a few times before rolling away. Jiang Hui shrugged his shoulders, raising an arm to pull Su Yin over. Just as she was about to avoid the other party, a ball flew over towards Jiang Hui. Amidst everyone's shocked sounds, it smacked ruthlessly against the back of his head, then fell to the ground, slowly rolling away.
The basketball Jiang Hui was holding fell to the ground. He clutched his head, his face turning pale. Fierce pain spread from his head. Cold sweat rose from every pore on his body. He groaned in pain, his brow tightly knitted.
Seeing him in pain, everyone froze in their spots. Jiang Hui turned around, shouting, "Who's so f.u.c.king blind, hitting laozi!"
One of Xie Fei's hands was in his pocket. The other one dribbled a basketball casually. He walked leisurely to stand in front of Su Yin, pulling her behind him. He glanced at Jiang Hui indifferently. He said coldly, "You, an amateur, still want to come and teach my family's kid?"
Jiang Hui's face instantly turned steely. In the next moment, it reverted back to normally. His eyes shuttered, he fixed his gaze on Xie Fei. "What did you say? An amateur?" He laughed lowly. "Hey, aren't you talking about yourself! If you've got the skill, let's play a round. Can you do it?"
He couldn't beat Xie Fei in grades, fights, or family background. Jiang Hui didn't believe that he couldn't even beat Xie Fei in his best skill, basketball. Since the start, he had been on Yizhong's team. This was one of the best teams in the entire province.
And Xie Fei? Even if he could fight, so what? Basketball wasn't something that could be one with sheer force. Skill and experience were critical in basketball.
His skills were outstanding, his experience plentiful. For this amateur, Xie Fei, how could he be Jiang Hui's opponent?
