CHAPTER 9: A SMALL TRANSFORMATION

Zhang Yang glanced at the dull look on Liu Biao’s face, his body covered in a neat suit.  As long  as  Zhang Yang  remember, Liu   Biao always used to  wear   a black vest with blue  jeans,  and a  pair  of white  shoes  once in a while, but most of the time he wore slippers. It was the first time Zhang Yang saw him dressed up in a suit.

“Yo, big bro wanted to try a suit today, let’s go eat somewhere together.” Liu Biao grinned.

“Umm… that…. I don’t want to.” Zhang yang cannot help but hesitate. Although he had a really good relationship with Liu Biao, he’d never partic.i.p.ate in Liu Bio’s s social circle.

“Move, you coward. Hundreds of people will be eating there, no one will ever notice you.” Liu Biao grabbed Zhang Yang’s hand and pulled him towards the motorcycle on the side of the road.

“I ...”

“What is this?” Liu Biao saw the black plastic bag in Zhang yang’s hand and asked.

“Bread …” Zhang Yang felt embarra.s.sed and hid the bag behind his back.

“Bread? Did that old man give it to you …? Liu Biao frowned.

“…Cough…! .. Cough …! “

“Give it to me …”

“No I won’t ….”

“I said give it to me …”

“No, I won’t …”

“ **** , That wicked old man wasn’t even afraid to poison you by giving this s.h.i.t, d.a.m.n it … throw it away and let’s go eat dinner. ”Liu Biao chased after Zhang Yang, seized the bag and looked at the bread. He cursed and angrily threw the bag on the ground at once.

“I’m already full.” Zhang Yang said as he touch his belly. He didn’t know if there was something wrong with the bread or if he really was full but Zhang yang was feeling more comfortable.

  “I am going to eat and you’re coming too. I’m taking you to the restroom first where you can vomit all the bread that you’ve eaten. Then your stomach will be empty and you can eat again!”

“Vroom, Vroom … …”

The motorcycle hovered with its engine bursting out a crazy sound and a large round ma.s.s of smoke emitting from the exhaust pipe. The huge school entrance was covered in a foul atmosphere, it looked as if the smoke of gunpowder has spread all over the battlefield in general. Amidst the smoke, the motorcycle send out a strange howl and stormed into the vast traffic.

As soon as the motorcycle disappeared, uncle w.a.n.g came out from the guard room with both of his hands behind his back, and took a glimpse at the distant billowing smoke. Then he bend over and carefully picked up the plastic bag that Liu Biao had thrown on the ground, gently patted the dust and went in the guard room.

”Little b.a.s.t.a.r.d, doesn’t know ‘every grain in a Chinese bowl is the product of great pain and toil’? I’ll be watching what you’re going to eat the next time you get hungry.” The old man was whispering as he opened the drawer and once again wrapped the bread and carefully kept it on the innermost part of the drawer.

As he was closing the drawer, a small c.o.c.kroach climbed up the old man’s hand, he didn’t hesitate a bit and instead slammed it with his hand with a cold murderous look in his eyes.

“Liu Biao, is it really okay for me to be here?” Zhang Yang always felt a little inappropriate, a student running away from school to eat and drink outside can easily get in trouble.

“Don’t be afraid, my boss got promoted today, so there are going to be thousands of people in Pi JiYuan hotel drinking some fine wine,  ‘the more people comes the less you’ll be visible’ ,he he …, and also I wanted to let you to take a look at my Boss’s demeanor.” Liu Biao swung his 250 inside the traffic in an insane way with a face of proud smile, as if, it was him who got promoted instead of his boss.

“Oh, did I give you the red envelope?”

“****, if I get the red envelope, what kind of food is that?”

“You are so funny, don’t think too much. Just follow me, I won’t let you down. Today I will treat you with a big feast … cough.”

“Well, just got to meet you today bro, and now the wind, don’t talk too much bro. It’ll be bad if you catch a cold.”

“Your father’s body will catch a cold…. Cough …”

The C city is not that big. In less than 10 minutes on Liu Biao’s earth- shattering motorcycle, they reached the Pi JiYuan hotel, of course, Liu Biao knew about the unique motorcycle parking area in front of a small garden next to the business building.

The school had already finished dinner, but that’s the life inside the school. Some restaurant’s business has only just begun.

At this hour, the Pi Jiyuan hotel was busier than ever, the front of the huge parking lot was packed with all kinds of cars. Seeing this Zhang Yang was surprised for a moment as he had never seen so many famous cars at the same time in his whole life.

“BMW … Mercedes … Cadillac … Audi … Ferrari …”

Zhang yang started to drool by looking at those bright shiny cars, anxious to run over and gently touch them with his hand. Even though he was not a crazy fan of cars, but as a man, his fascination towards these cars was no less than those car fanatics.

“c.r.a.p!  Show some cla.s.s dude, don’t make me lose my face, alright …?” All of a sudden Liu Biao hit on the back of Zhang Yang’s head but his eyes were still fixed at the new Mercedes-Benz 600.

“He He (grinning)…, don’t lose face.”

Zhang Yang suddenly felt the inexplicable rise of arrogance in his heart, as if these cars which he wouldn’t even dare to imagine at ordinary times basically meant nothing. Subconsciously, a kind of intuition told him that there are many good cars in the world, and although these cars are expensive, they are not the first rated ones. At least now, the Rolls-Royce Phantom is more awe-inspiring than each and every car parked here.

Subconsciously, Zhang yang gave birth to a small transformation, and a kind of indifferent and calmness occupied his current state of mind. Although it was impossible to suddenly let him stand at the upper perspective to see things, at least it was okay to let him have a humble att.i.tude.

“What’s going on with you?” Liu Biao look surprised as he suddenly asked the question.

“Why?  What’s the matter …?” Zhang Yang looked puzzled.

“You suddenly feel different …”

Liu Biao was scratching his head as he turned backward and at that moment suddenly, that little wretched guy was letting him have a different kind of undefinable sensation, something like … the chillness of the pale and clear wind …the calm Cirrus clouds …”

“d.a.m.n it! I don’t know what to say … “Liu Biao spit a mouthful of saliva. He could not find a suitable word from his level where the only thing he knew was to fight and chase after girls all day long.
