CHAPTER 18: DINNER TREAT

Regardless of how much time he stalled, Zhang Yang eventually crawled to the fifth floor. When he reached at the corridor, Zhang Yang was suddenly dumbstruck to see full of people standing outside the room’s door and each of them were stretching their head to look inside.

“Cough cough … can you let me in?? Zhang Yang had no choice but to pat the next door roommate’s shoulder.

“F***, why would I want to let you in? You should have come sooner if you wanted to see first…” That roommate wouldn’t budge, looking inside with full of spirit.

“But I want to go in ….”

Zhang Yang did not respond, he rushed to the group of people at the doorway forcibly and pushed the door open, then shut the door tightly.

“Zhang Yang!”

Just when Zhang Yang was getting ready to open the door, a soft voice came from behind.

He saw a young beautiful woman sitting on his bed, it was the girl from the train. The girl’s face was completely red, obviously, she needed a great courage to sit there waiting for Zhang Yang.

“Thank You.” The girl took the money and said softly.

Zhang Yang suddenly recalled himself on the train, robbery, awkward smile and feeling uncomfortable all over. They both were silent.

“Zhang Yang … …” the girl seemed to pick up some courage.

“Have you had dinner yet?”

“No, I’m starving!” When the girl mention the meal, Zhang Yang suddenly felt a burst of strong sense of hunger starting to spread.

“I’d like to invite you to have a meal, thanks.” The girls voice sounded just like a mosquito hovering.

“This …. Is not … I’m going to eat by myself.” Zhang Yang shook his hand. Although he was hungry, he didn’t want to go out with this girl because if he and this girl went out to eat together then it will definitely turn into the school’s front page headline.

“I really appreciate you, really, let me buy you a meal so as to return the favor …”

Seeing Zhang Yang being ungrateful, the girl suddenly became anxious and her face turned very red as she walked over and hold Zhang Yang’s hand. Clearly, she was very sincere in her request to Zhang Yang for a meal.

Zhang yang couldn’t help but get stunned to see the girl holding his hand as this girl was simply terrifying. Her face looked scared just a moment ago but now her heart was anxious to hold his arm, is this a different girl?

“Are you really inviting me?”  Zhang Yang showed an expression of a big bad wolf aimed at the girl, “he he”

“Wha ..t?”

Seeing Zhang Yang’s expression, the girl seemed as if she was p.r.i.c.ked by a needle and basically loosen her both hands.

“Are you still inviting me to eat?”

“Please!” The girl’s face remained firm.

“Then let’s go…” Zhang Yang heaved a sigh. He did not dare to stay inside the dormitory for a long time, a single man and a single woman, if this spreads out then he didn’t know what kind of rumors will it transform into.

“But, right next to the school?” The girl still had a firm look on her face to see Zhang Yang agree immediately.

Zhang Yang was suddenly speechless, is it possible that this girl is still worried about his meal as well as him indecently a.s.saulting her?

When Zhang Yang was opening the door at least ten people were attached to the door eavesdropping and as the door opened, a lot of them almost fell on the ground. Seeing Zhang Yang come out, immediately they pretended to talk about some irrelevant matters.

Zhang Yang was too lazy to engage with these gossiping men so he walked straight downstairs and the girl, who looked resenting basically with a blushing face, followed Zhang Yang from behind and did not dare to look up around the crowd.

Across the campus, there were many surprised eyes looking at the two of them, of course, the girl did not recognize several people. The key was Zhang Yang, there were too many who knew him.

 While walking, Zhang Yang felt like countless flying knives were piercing his body. He couldn’t help but suddenly feel a little regret promising the girl for dinner, this was obviously a stupid decision.

When Zhang yang arrived at the school’s entrance, he realized it was bad because, there was w.a.n.g Bo wearing a white vest and holding a palm fan in his hand strolling at the school’s gate, and this time w.a.n.g Bo had already seen Zhang Yang.

“Uncle w.a.n.g, How are you?” The girl following behind Zhang Yang also shouted in a weak voice, the blush on her face had still not disappeared. Zhang Yang realized that it is particularly easy for this girl to blush.

“No food? Or, I still have a little bread here … …” The old man said as he turned around and walked to the guard room.

“Ah … no need.” Zhang Yang was suddenly impatient and quickly pulled the live enthusiastic old man. He had his wallet now and he did not want to eat that long moldy bread, of course, Zhang Yang still did not know that the old man still kept the bread that he hadn’t finished the last time.

“Looking for a girlfriend?” The old man turned and laughed “he he”.
