The divine power was poured into it and the array emitted a soft white light. This white gradually spread out and enveloped the entire city.

Little by little the blight was driven out of the people's bodies by the divine light and then finally disappeared inside a halo.

Chen Liguo closed his eyes and a little bit of sweat appeared on the tip of his nose.

Although there were tens of thousands of people in the plaza at this moment, not one of them said a word.

Chen Liguo, in his newly changed gown, stood in the center of the plaza. His long golden hair fluttered in the air slowly in the wake of the revolving array as a pure and holy halo spread out in front of him. In that very moment, he was like a celestial G.o.d that had descended down, using his own power to save tens of thousands of lives.

After everything was finished, Chen Liguo closed the array.

There was a bit of sweat on his face and his complexion was paler than before. However, his back perfectly straight and erect like before.

From within people who had been cured from the blight, some began to take lead and chant 'Holy Son'. There was a bit of a smile in Chen Liguo's eyes but he did not speak.

Uriel saw that the crowd was in high spirits and told them to go back and have a good rest and remember to cremate the bodies of the deceased so as to not cause a new epidemic.

Uriel could see that Chen Liguo was a little tired. After the treatment was over, he took him to a hotel and prepared hot water for him to have a good rest.

Chen Liguo did not refuse and complied with Uriel's kind intentions. After taking a hot bath he quietly went to sleep.

The next day, before they could celebrate, they had to go onto the next city-state.

Rock City's city lord was still urging them to stay, saying that the populace had prepared a banquet for Chen Liguo and asked that they stayed in the city to rest for a night before leaving.

However, Chen Liguo declined their kind intentions and said, "There are still many people waiting for me."

With the conversation reaching this point the city lord could not continue to ask them to stay but the people of Rock City profoundly felt the holy son's power. They felt that the holy son was the best gift bestowed to them by G.o.d.

Chen Liguo aloofly mounted his horse and with his face facing the admiration, respect, and such string of gazes from the populace, slowly left the city walls.

Uriel said, "Holy Son Daren, which direction do you want to go next?" There were cities nearby but choosing the direction was nevertheless a problem.

Chen Liguo looked at the sky and said, "Go southwest." The blight was the strongest there and finding the source of the blight was the ultimate goal of their trip.

Uriel nodded and said good. And so the group of people rushed towards the southwest.
