IN HEAVENLY LOVE ABIDING

In heavenly love abiding, No change my heart shall fear, And safe is such confiding, For nothing changes here.

The storm may roar without me, My heart may low be laid; But G.o.d is round about me, And can I be dismayed?

Wherever He may guide me, No want shall turn me back; My Shepherd is beside me, And nothing can I lack.

His wisdom ever waketh, His sight is never dim, He knows the way He taketh, And I will walk with Him.

Green pastures are before me, Which yet I have not seen; Bright skies will soon be o'er me, Where darkest clouds have been.

My hope I cannot measure, My path to life is free; My Saviour has my treasure, And He will walk with me.

THE KING OF LOVE

The King of love my Shepherd is, Whose goodness faileth never; I nothing lack if I am His, And He is mine forever.

Where streams of living water flow My ransomed soul He leadeth, And where the verdant pastures grow, With food celestial feedeth.

Perverse and foolish oft I strayed, But yet in love He sought me, And on His shoulder gently laid, And home, rejoicing, brought me.

In death's dark vale I fear no ill With Thee, dear Lord, beside me; Thy rod and staff my comfort still, Thy cross before to guide me.

And so, through all the length of days Thy goodness faileth never; Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise Within Thy house forever.

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

AMEN.

Jesus, take this heart of mine, Make it pure, and only Thine.

I Thy little child would be, Help me, Lord, to live for Thee. AMEN.

I thank Thee, Lord, for quiet rest, And for Thy care of me; Oh, let me through this day be blest, And kept from harm by Thee.

Oh, let me thank Thee, kind Thou art To children such as I, Give me a gentle, loving heart; Be Thou my friend on high. AMEN.
