"You know the reason why all of you are summoned here today. I together with my Son Travis, will personally choose the other members who will join his group."
Alpha Tristan said in front of the thirty-two werewolves who were considered the most skilled young fighters of their pack.
"We will not just look in your strength and power but also with your ability to make the right judgment in a certain situation," Travis spoke up.
"Our mission is very important and dangerous at the same time. So we will choose four members among your group whom we think are suited for this task. Good luck everyone."
After the go signal of Alpha Tristan, the selection process started. They were group into four members each, making eight teams.
As they were about to undergo the first challenge, most of the werewolves suddenly felt ill. Some collapsed while others felt dizzy.
"What is happening here?" Alpha Tristan said with his worried voice.
"Somebody call the elders and our pack doctors to come here. Hurry!" He ordered. Travis immediately left to seek help.
Alpha Tristan ran towards the unconscious werewolves to check their vitals.
", what the h.e.l.l is wrong with them. They just look fine a while ago. Why suddenly they become so sick like this?"
Several minutes had pa.s.sed and the pack doctors and elders arrived to tend those werewolves.
They were shocked when they saw the scene. Some were lying on the ground unconscious while some were on their knees trying to steady themselves as they felt light-headed.
After checking them, the doctor found out that this case was not severe just like what they had thought at first.
One doctor approached Alpha Tristan to explain to him the current situation of those werewolves.
"This is nothing serious, they might have eaten or drunk something that made them feel so dizzy. We will further investigate what caused this"
"Don't worry Alpha. They are now stable and their lives are not in danger." the doctor a.s.sured him.
Before Tristan could response, someone spoke up.
"Alpha, forgive me for interrupting your conversation but may I speak my thoughts about this incident."
"Okay, tell me." he permitted him to speak.
"Could this incident be a sign? Giving us a sign that meeting Blood Moon Pack is not a good idea. I think this is a bad omen for our pack."
"Please reconsider your decision Alpha." the man added. Travis and Diego frowned after hearing his statements.
"I think, this is just a coincidence. It meant nothing. I don't believe that this is a bad omen." Travis said as he disagreed with him.
The man did not say a word. He just kept silent waiting for Alpha Tristan to speak.
"Alright. Let's postponed this selection process as of now. We will wait for our pack doctor's findings and investigation regarding what caused this incident." Tristan said.
In the end, the selection process was canceled and need to be rescheduled another time.

« Hunters a.s.sociation Academy »
Today was the second day of t.i.tania's Cla.s.s and as usual, this was also the second day of Ethan being a teacher.
But instead of Ethan, t.i.tania was the one talking in front.
Ethan left them just a while ago as Jeston called him for an important matter.
"Hmm my dear younger brothers and sisters since our teacher left us today, would you mind if I will be the one to speak on his behalf today?" t.i.tania asked for their approval.
The young children just nodded vehemently. They liked what t.i.tania had suggested.
t.i.tania smiled at them sweetly. 'This cla.s.s was really cute and very well-behaved.'
"Okay... I will ask a question and just raise your hand if you want to answer. Is that clear?"
"Yes, Ma'am." They all said at the same time.
"Very good. So here is my first question."
"Why are you here? I mean why do you want to study and train here at Hunters a.s.sociation Academy?"
t.i.tania let those children who raised their hands, speak.
"My mother and my father are hunters. I want to be like them as I grow up." the most chubby kid in the cla.s.s answered.
"Wow, that's nice Arky. I am also like you. My parents are very strong. I wanted to be like them as I grow up."
t.i.tania smiled at them but there was sadness in her eyes while saying those words. Because she knew, at her current condition, she could not be like them.
"Me too, my father is my idol. I want to be a skilled hunter like him." one child replied.
Another child also answered. "I don't have parents but the Hunters a.s.sociation selected me to be a student here. I am thankful that they give me food and shelter so I will be a good student here."
"How about you sis t.i.tania? Why did you come here? Are your parents, hunters too or you also don't have parents anymore?" that was a question coming from a cute young girl.
"I want to protect my family that's why I am here. I want to stop the war between hunters and werewolves." t.i.tania said truthfully to them.
Then suddenly someone burst into crying. He was the youngest among them. The 10-year-old boy whose name was Calvin.
t.i.tania approached him immediately to comfort him. "Hey, what's wrong Calvin? Why are you crying?"
"My...father...was killed...by werewolves. I am here...because they said...if I became a hunter...I could avenge...my father's death." Calvin said in between his sobs.
t.i.tania was rendered speechless. This boy in her arms also lost his family because of this ongoing war between humans and werewolves.
After the boy calmed down and stopped crying, t.i.tania spoke to him.
"Calvin I understand how you feel. I also lost some important persons in my life. But my father told me that revenge is not the solution to this."
"What do you mean sis?" he asked her. Other children were also listening to them.
"Do you want to be a hunter so that you can kill a werewolf? Is that what your goal Calvin?" she asked him softly.
Calvin thought for a while. He was not sure but he just nodded as his response. t.i.tania sighed deeply.
"If you kill a werewolf, that werewolf also has a family like you. If his son also knew that he will also avenge his father then he will kill also another humans and hunters."
"Then killings between hunters and werewolves will repeat over and over again. More persons, more werewolves will both lost their family members."
"Killing each other is not the solution. We must forgive and understand one another and live peacefully together. Don't you agree with me?"
"But werewolves are scary sister. How can we live peacefully if they are there with us? They are beast and monster who attack humans?"
"Have you seen werewolves?" she asked them. Everyone shook their head.
"Then how can you say that they are scary and monsters? Did you not wonder, maybe they are attacking humans because they are just protecting themselves against hunters." she was trying to explain to them that werewolves are not bad.
The children could not understand her. They were just looking at her confusedly.
"Hay, It is hard to explain. But don't worry I will prove to you that werewolves are not bad. if you see it with your own eyes, you should change that thinking, okay? Not all werewolves are beasts and monsters."
She sighed deeply. She knew that they could not understand her as of now but someday she would prove to them that she was saying the truth.
Suddenly t.i.tania heard a familiar deep and husky voice of a man.
"I just disappeared in just a short period of time but you are already brainwashing the minds of my students. Why are you making them confused?"
t.i.tania turned around only to see Ethan, standing and leaning on the door while his arms were crossed together, his brows knitted in a frown.
