He whipped the reins and had the horses move forward.
"I know you saw what I saw." Lobo said as he kept his eyes glued to the moving carriage that was slowly moving away. "Just wave and smile." Ariana instructed. They watched as the carriage disappeared and waited for Roland to deliver their friends. They silently waited for 15 minutes and they still didn't see anyone coming. "Loralei, Davita I need your help." Ariana called out hoping they would hear her voice. No answer. "I hate this!" Ariana spat. Not having her Lumas close by was a huge disadvantage.
'Do you want me to go get them?' Vasu asked as he appeared before Ariana. "Vasu!" Ariana gasped as she took Vasu into her arms. "What is going on? You look so pale!" Ariana shouted in disbelief. 'I'm fine, I just feel really tired.' Vasu replied. "No something is wrong!" Ariana shouted before she ran for dear life up the winding path. "What's going on?!" Lobo asked as he started running beside Ariana. "Vasu looks sick!" Ariana yelled in a panic. "So what should we do?" Lobo asked. "Not we, just me. I have an idea but I don't know if it'll work." Ariana said as they approached the admittance building.
"Good afternoon." The guards said as they saw two of the Academy's students approach. "h.e.l.lo, goodbye!" Ariana shouted as she sped by with Lobo. "If you think I'm going to leave your side for even a second you're dead wrong!" Lobo growled furiously. "I don't have time to argue so follow closely." Ariana said as she picked up her pace. She rushed in to the spring forest close to the boundary of the female dorms and started to retrace her steps to the giant stone door. "Mirela, Mirela please help!" Ariana shouted.
"What are we doing here?" Lobo asked as he inspected the door. He had never seen it before, he heard students talking about a legendary stone door in the woods but no one had ever found it. "I was told when I hit hard times and I just want to run away, all I need to do is come here." Ariana said causing Lobo to turn to her in disbelief. "I'm almost there Lobo! I am getting so overwhelmed and if I lose Vasu... I will not stay here! I can't this is too much!" Ariana shouted as tears welled up.
"Get a hold of yourself!" Lobo said as he grabbed Ariana's shoulders and gave her a small shake. "Lobo I don't want Vasu to die!" Ariana cried. "Stop cursing him!" Lobo snapped. "Who is Mirela?" Lobo asked. "The fairy who told me about the taboo thing." Ariana said in between sobs. "The earth fairy? We are too far from their usual hangout." Lobo said but he instantly regretted his words. Ariana looked like she was about to crumble in his hands. "But I think I remember Sienna telling me about it. I found it by accident.... Think, think, th-i-n-k, come on remember... I got it!" Lobo shouted as he released Ariana.
"Sienna!" Lobo shouted. Not even a heart beat had gone by when suddenly a giant orange flower popped up from the ground. Three ma.s.sive leaves rolled out from under the flower giving it a very dramatic entrance. Lobo smiled as he bent over and wrapped his hands around the stem of the flower. In one giant movement Lobo pulled the flower out of the ground and a very beautiful, tiny woman was attached to the bottom of the steam. Lobo brought the woman close to his face, the top of her head was attached to the steam and she hung from mid air, staring at Lobo.
She had slender arms and legs. A wavy Bob that rested on her shoulders, her face was round, she had two half moon lips and giant, black, almond shaped eyes with ridiculously long lashes. She also wore a sea of tiny flowers as an elegant dress. 'This better be important Lobo. My babies have been put down for a nap.' A sweet, airy voice shouted as she looked at Lobo.
"Sienna, I need to find the earth fairies right now." Lobo half asked and half ordered. 'Why should I help you? I'm still mad about last time." Sienna said with a giant pout. "Please mother ginger! I need to save Vasu!" Ariana pleaded. Sienna gave Lobo a dirty look and waited for him to let her go. Sienna turned and face Ariana. She instinctively took a step back. 'I can not help you.' Sienna said in a feeble voice. "Please! I want to save my friend!" Ariana begged. Sienna looked at Ariana then Vasu. With a heavy sigh she dropped her head to her chest. 'I'll give you a hint but it's up to you to find the fairies. If you can't, then I'm afraid you'll lose your friend.' Sienna said as she brought her gaze up. "Thank you!" Ariana shouted as she bowed.
'Autumn breeze with clear and pure water and complicated skies. They love to live underground so be careful when taking the plunge to see them.' Sienna said before jumping in to the air and diving back in to the ground. "Lobo?" Ariana called out pitifully as she raised her head. "I remember! I remember where they are! Follow me!" Lobo shouted as he started running.
Ariana started to run but stumbled as she tried to run as fast as Lobo. She held Vasu tightly as she landed sideways on to the ground. "No! I'm not letting this stop me!" Ariana shouted as she got right back up. She winced when she took a step forward. A branch lodged itself into her outer left thigh.
