My Way To You 228 Sweeten The Deal

"Interesting?" Ariana asked innocently. "Yes." Virginia said with a snake like smile. "How?" Ariana asked as she batted her long eyelashes. "If you lose, I want you to hand over that sandwich recipe." Virginia said with a bigger, more sinister smile. "Mmmh, I don't know." Ariana said as she grabbed her ap.r.o.n, wringing it as she thought things over. "You and Bruno are tied... It can be anyone's win but I will admit you have talent." Virginia said as she slowly approached Ariana and placed her fan under her chin. Making Ariana bring her eyes up. Virginia gasped. 

The wretched girl was actually beautiful with the most dazzling eyes. Even though she was sick looking it was easy to see past the dirt to see the gem. "I'll tell you what. I will even sweeten the deal. If my son wins you will also become his wife. It's a win win deal for the both of you." Virginia said loudly making sure that ever person heard. Ariana smiled brightly. "But what happens if I win?" Ariana asked.

Virginia had to hold in a burst of laughter threatening to escape her lips. "What would you like sweetheart?" Virginia asked with an uneven voice. "A public apology for the misrepresentation of your food at the cafe." Ariana said bluntly. Virginia paled. "Excuse me?!" Virginia gasped as she dropped her fan. "I will even sweeten the deal for you. I will look over your recipes and give you tips on how to improve it. No marriage required. I'm already spoken for." Ariana stated with conviction that she caused everyone to go silent.

"You brat!" Virginia shrieked as she lunged for Ariana's cart. "Sorry but I can't let you have your way!" A familiar voice shoutes as Virginia was kicked back. She landed on the ground with a ma.s.sive bounce. Ariana turned around, she couldn't hold back her happiness. "Second Big brother!" Ariana shouted as she jumped on to Lobo. "How dare you try to sabotage my little sister!" Lobo shouted. "Ariana!" Edlyn shouted as she squeezed through the crowd. "Edlyn!" Ariana cried as she released Lobo and embraced her. The others soon followed.

"How dare you strike me?!" Virginia shouted as her face turned bright red. "Want me to do it again?!" Lobo growled as he snapped his jaw. "What are you doing here?!" Edlyn shouted as she looked at the cart. "Oh! It's flan! Ariana you made flan!" Edlyn shouted in delight. "Is there any more?" Talisha asked as she looked at the dessert with sparkling eyes. "You know when it comes to dessert I will always make extras!" Ariana shouted as she rushed back to the fridge and pulled out another 6 remains. She quickly plated the dessert and put thye on her station.

"Sorry. You have to stay out of the way for now but please enjoy." Ariana said as she stepped aside. Lobo and Xander looked at the flan suspiciously but the girls quickly started eating. Their faces lit up with pure joy. The judges became intrigued by the small golden thing called flan. Lobo and Xander took small bites and instantly changed their eating pace. They were cutting bigger pieces and eating happily.

A loud cough was heard and everyone turned towards the judges. "Young Miss, I am truly sorry you had to go through something so traumatizing. I think we judges should let you go first as a form of apology." Mr. Klopp said in a dignified voice. "What do you think gentleman?" Mr. Klopp then asked his fellow judges. "Cough... Cough. I completely agree." Mr. Krone said shamelessly. "I disagree. We had already set the rules. Mr. Gale is to go first this round." Mr. Johnpine said as he peeked at Virginia. 

"That's right! That's right! She promised my son to go first in this round if she went first in the second round. My son was a gentleman! Please follow the rules!" Virginia begged. Ariana stepped forward and gave the judges a bright smile. "I did not take offense to what Mrs. Gale said or did. Please let us proceed with the third round, Mr. Gale the floor is yours." Ariana said as she turned to Bruno. 

Bruno stepped up and placed a plate in front of each judge. "I present to you our cafe's signature fruit cake." Bruno said proudly. "Ariana! Can I have the last flan?! I already licked my plate clean. Please little sister?" Lobo whined as he looked at Ariana with giant puppy eyes. "Lobo! Shhh!" Ariana scolded. "Please! It was so good." Lobo whined further. "Yes already but please shh!" Ariana pleaded desperately. "Wait he gets two? Is there more?" Edlyn asked with a pouting face. "Yes in the fridge but guys please!" Ariana practically shouted. 

She then turned to the judges and bowed. "I'm so sorry! Please continue." Ariana shouted apologetically. "How many more are in the fridge?" Mr. Klopp asked as he eyed the cart. "9." Ariana answered quickly. Mr. Klopp brought back his gaze to the cake. He quickly cut off a piece and shoved it in to his mouth. "4. Move on!" Mr. Klopp demanded. "But sir you barely had a bite." Bruno protested. "Your mother tries to bribe my wife with this cake and I'm sick of eating it. So 4, let's go on!" Mr. Klopp shouted.

The other judges nodded their head an took a bite. "4." Mr. Krone said as he put his fork down. "2. I love sweet things but this isn't even sweet." Mr. Johnpine announced. "You scored 10. Final score for Bruno Gale, 56!" Mr. Krone announced. Bruno reluctantly cleaned up the plates and stepped back. "Young Miss." Mr. Klopp called out. Ariana walked over and gave each judge a plate. "This is flan. It's a type of custard pudding with a caramel sauce. I topped it with a few raspberries to give you a sweet sour taste if you find it too sweet." Ariana said as she happily watched the judge's dig in.

Just as Lobo had done, the judges liked their plates clean. "More please!" They shouted in unison. "Score first!" Edlyn shouted as she glared at the judges.

The judges shouted one after another. Ariana laughed as she walked back and plated another three flans. She brought it to the judges and watched as they enjoyed the dessert.
