Long story short, the rain will evaporate after the atmosphere goes back to normal but if it is cold then the blood rain will stay as it's liquid form instead of becoming a Vapor.
With my sister's power, I can make the perfect environment to store the Rain and thereby have a whole lot of evolution rain which I would drown the Zombies in causing them to mutate faster. After they all turn into Tier 2 I can harvest every one of them for Evolution Cores thereby having something I could use to trade with the otherworld merchants with.
Evolution Cores in any place are a popular item that can be traded for some currency. In some places, it is a currency in itself.

I look at the ceiling of this apartment and before long I daze off.
It's been a long time since I've gotten such a peaceful sleep.
The moment I shut my eyes the world goes into darkness.
When I awaken the sun is out and it is shining.
I look out the gla.s.s window and I see a bunch of Zombies roaming about the streets. It seems I have a lot of cleaning up to do.
I quickly wake up my sister and gathered up all the people in the hallway. There is now about a total of 200 Survivors in this camp. But only the original people with me can be somewhat trusted.
I have a total of 13 doctors, 17 Police officers and 23 people whom I picked up from the trucking company.
So about 53 people whom I could trust, for now, meaning about 1/4 of the people here will listen to me. That amount is nowhere near enough to control this group of survivors but if I was to arm them with the steel body skill then it should be enough for now.
Now the next issue I have is food.
200 people is a lot of people to feed.
I only have 14 truckloads of food. Which should be able to last us about 1 month at most.
Each truck can last someone 1 year so if it was split amongst 200 people then it could last about 25 or so days. Meaning it will last us until the blood rain period but I still need to find more food, as I'm going to start creating more survivor camps meaning more people meaning needing more food.
Building rooftop gardens will help ease that problem somewhat, although that still isn't going to be
able to fill in all the missing food blanks it will help none the less.
I wish the second phase of the Apocalypse would come already for at that time creatures on earth will start mutating. In the original timeline humanity despite not turning into zombies had almost died from starvation in the first month.
Due to being starved they had to venture out in search of food and then got turned into food by the hungry zombies.
After the blood rain, however, everything changed. Although the Zombies evolved into Tier 1 and had sharper senses. Humans also awakened more frequently and animals also Mutated.
The animals mutating became something that somehow helped humanity survive indirectly.
For after the animals evolved they treated the zombies which humans couldn't beat as a nutritious meal.
Thereby lessening the Zombies. But that wasn't the only thing the beasts were good for they were also something that humans could consume making them their source of food as well.
It might be weird considering the mutant beasts as food for a mutant beast that could beat a zombie and treat it as a snack to become the food of a human which generally will be beaten by a zombie. But if you think about it in another way it all makes sense.
The mutant beast although stronger then the zombies are lesser in numbers. If a team of awakened were to work together well they can kill it. But zombies, on the other hand, are larger in numbers and like to call for back up. Even if the awakened were to waster there time killing them it would at most help add a couple of points onto there stats. They are also inedible. So although the Awakened can kill zombies it isn't worth it to kill them while although the mutant beasts are stronger then zombies as long as a team of awakened attack it, they can kill it get stats and food as well.
Therefore the beast helped to rid the world of Zombies by making them food and humans treated Beasts as there food.
A pretty weird food cycle...
Each mutant beast contains a lot of energy so a single piece of mutant beast meat can fill up an ordinary human for a day.
Meaning as long as a team of survivors managed to hunt down a mutant beast they would be set for a week's worth of food.
But there is also a downside. Mutant beasts are far stronger then Zombies, meaning unless there is a team of about 5 Awakened it is almost impossible to hunt them down without injury and death.
So although the mutant beasts are edible and fewer in number then the Zombies they are also far stronger and smarter then Zombies.
Beast, unlike Zombies, have a brain. They can sense danger and will flee if they have the chance, unlike Zombies who do everything they can to take down there opponents.
So there is another thing which I should start doing now which would be capturing animals.
If I was to capture all the animals now before they mutate and become mutant beast then I would be able to farm more meat for my men after they become Mutant beasts.
But Manhattan is really not a borough for animals for the city was full of skysc.r.a.pers and buildings. There really aren't many forests in Manhattan which Inhabitat many animals.
