Tang Mi had been sleeping after taking cold medicine.

There was a sharp knock on the door, and it woke her very abruptly.

She rolled over and covered herself with the quilt, but she still couldn't stop the desperate knocking on the door.

She finally lift the quilt, angrily sitting up, putting on her slippers and walking to the door. "Who is it?"

The person outside the door was silent for a moment before replying, " Sweet Heart, it's me."

Tang Mi stared blankly, feeling her entire being br.i.m.m.i.n.g with energy.

She opened the door quickly and saw Yu Xin.

He wasn't wearing a suit jacket. His white shirt was open at the neck and his tie hung loosely around his neck.

He supported his right hand on the doorframe, with his messy bangs lazily half covering his eyes.

They were looking at each other.

Tang Mi had just woken up from her bed, she was still wearing her pajamas. Her long black hair was draped over her shoulders.

It wasn't clear whether it was due to the fever or the fact that she just woke up, but her face was blushing red. She looked really …

The two of them admired each other's beauty at the door, and Tang Mi finally remembered to invite him in.

She stood in the living room and smiled embarra.s.sedly. "Yu …"

"Why are you here?"

"I heard you're sick. Are you feeling better?"

"Yes, I feel much better after the injection in the hospital. I just feel sleepy."

Yu Xin's eyes moved for a moment. He then pulled her up and walked into the room. "So sleep for a while longer."

Tang Mi: "…"

"However…"

"What about you?"

"You want to watch me sleep?"

Then how could she possibly be sleeping!

Yu Xin obviously wasn't aware of this. When he pulled Tang Mi into the bedroom, he saw the pink plush toy by the pillow and subconsciously paused.

"What's wrong?"

Tang Mi tilted her head and looked at him.

Yu Xin smiled and said to her, "You put the toy here?"

Tang Mi nodded, "Yes, they usually sit beside the pillow, right?"

"Yes."

Yu Xin pursed his lips and pulled her to the side of the bed. "You need to rest more."

"Hmm."

Tang Mi obediently got into bed and looked at the person beside her. "What about you?"

Yu Xin seemed to have only just thought of this question. Her eyes flashed with a trace of embarra.s.sment: "Hmm …"

"I'm staying. Don't worry, I won't do anything."

Tang Mi blinked rapidly and pointed to the computer chair beside her. "You can sit there."

"Yes."

Yu Xin pulled up a chair and sat beside her.

Seeing Tang Mi looking at him with her eyes wide open, he asked, "What's wrong?"

Tang Mi said, "Why do I feel that there's something different about you today?"

Yu Xin was stunned for a moment, then she pursed her lips and smiled at Tang Mi, "What's different, Sweet Heart?"

Tang Mi pursed her lips and didn't say anything, only blinking her eyes.

Yu Xin coughed dryly and changed the topic, "Why are you suddenly sick?"

"Don't you know how to take care of yourself?"

Tang Mi pursed her lips. "It was Fu Xin who gave it to me. She's recovered, hmph."

Yu Xin watched her in silence for a while. Suddenly, he bent down, leaned close to her and lowered his voice, "Then give it to me. So you can recover."

Tang Mi looked at the person right in front of her, her heart violently beating. However, she couldn't help but laugh. "You're so childish, do you still believe such a thing?"

Yu Xin slightly raised his eyebrows, "Didn't you take me as a child?"

"Of course, children are childish."

Tang Mi didn't speak, only smiled with her eyes curved. Yu Xin's eyes darkened, and his lips lightly brushed against her lips. "Are you trying to infect me?"

His ambiguous tone and shallow breathing made Tang Mi so nervous that she couldn't even laugh.

Yu Xin slightly leaned forward and b.u.mped into Tang Mi's soft lips.

He licked Tang Mi's tongue tentatively and nipped on her lower lip.

This kiss was very careful. Yu Xin released her lips without breaking into her mouth.

Tang Mi opened her eyes, still breathing unsteadily as she looked at him. "You haven't returned to Chief Yu."

Yu Xin gently bit his lower lip and asked, "Do you want me to turn back to Yu Yi?"

She pursed her lips into a smile but didn't say anything.

Yu Xin helped her lie down and touched the black hair on her forehead. "Sleep."

"Hmm."

Tang Mi closed her eyes.

Yu Xin watched her until her breathing became more even and longer. Then he got up, kissed her on the cheek, and left her room.

Tang Mi quietly opened her eyes when she heard the soft sound of the door closing.

She lay still for a while longer, then got up quietly and went to the window to take a peek.

Yu Xin got into the car. They drove quickly out of the block.

Tang Mi turned around and threw herself onto the bed, hugging the blanket and laughing out loud.
