Zhao Mo didn't even show any compa.s.sion or sympathy to Ye Qiao's physical condition.
Instead, she simply told Ye Qiao in an adamant tone that only stars fell from the sky.

Ye Qiao suddenly broke into laughter. Sometimes, it only took a glance or a word for her
to decide whether she liked a person or not. Ye Qiao wasn't cynical or moralistic in nature.  
Though she wasn't offended by Chao Mo earlier actions, Chao Mo was definitely not a
person she would appreciate. But after such an adamant statement, Ye Qiao suddenly
found the girl in front of her to be rather likable.

Without expressing whether she agreed with Chao Mo's statement, she asked: “Were you
thinking about that earlier tonight?”

Chao Mo struggled internally for a moment, then frankly confessed: “I just wanted to give it
a try. I don't have any background, nor any good luck. I have to fight for everything with my
own hands. What if I get a bad name, no one cares if I have a scandal when I'm not famous.”

It was just like she said, she would be the mud on the ground that no one cared.

Chao Mo displayed a vicious fort.i.tude, to reach her goals despite everything. People with
such convictions usually achieved greatness. However, she had misused her fort.i.tude in
the wrong place.

Ye Qiao packed up the medicine bag and said: “Is your knee feeling better? I'm going to
sleep now.”

Chao Mo didn't hesitate to leave. Tonight's encounter would become a secret between the
two. Ye Qiao was well aware that incident tonight would closely connect the two previously
irrelevant persons. Ye Qiao might not take it to heart, but Chao Mo would certainly keep a
watchful eye on her. If there was even the hint of a scandal, Ye Qiao would the first person
Chao Mo would suspect.

Ye Qiao somewhat regretted getting involved in this matter. But once she was in bed, eyes
closed, she had already put it behind her.

As she was about to fall asleep, her mind aimlessly wandered-----When did she begin to
accept Zhou Tingsheng, from which look or which word?

He was obviously such an annoying person.

Before long, she was sound asleep. When she woke the next morning, it was already close
to filming. Ye Qiao rushed to get her makeup done. Shen Ting brought her breakfast. The
cook made egg dishes for breakfast using eggs bought from the local farmers. Today,
Ye Qiao was going to film the chase scene and had disheveled hair and makeup on her,
even with a few streaks of mud on her face. Shen Ting couldn't stop laughing when she
saw Ye Qiao eating her breakfast in such a state.

Ye Qiao looked up at Shen Ting: “I can't eat if you don't stop laughing.”

Shen Ting knew Ye Qiao was only pretending to be annoyed and giggled: “I see you have
a good appet.i.te. A lot of people said they didn't like the eggs, that they smelled.”

“Even seafood has some smell, doesn't it?”

“That's different…...Anyway, for people like Xu Yinshan, she complained about the earthy
smell even if it's an Australian lobster which had been fished out of the water here.”
Nowadays, Shen Ting enjoyed making fun of Xu Yinshan. Ye Qiao had stopped warning
against it since she had done it too often. Sometimes, Ye Qiao would laugh with Shen Ting
if she was making a particularly funny statement.

Just as Shen Ting finished, a figure dashed out from the makeup area next to her and
started to throw up outside.

Ye Qiao looked over and saw Chen Jiang.

Shen Ting asked, confused: “What's wrong with Chen Jie lately? She's thrown up several
times in the past few days. The food here isn't that bad, is it?”

Ye Qiao had some guesses of her own. Shen Ting couldn't figure it out, but Ye Qiao
believed that, based on Chen Jiang's recent condition, a big secret was about to surface.

Ye Qiao finished her last bite and raised her face towards the makeup artist without much
emotion: “Do I need to re-apply the lipstick?”
