After he had settled Hong Chen down, Su Ke headed home and lay on his bed, before immediately calling Zheng Mo. After the call connected, there was only silence.

"You, are you home?" After a time, Zheng Mo's voice came out. It was audible and because she had cried a lot just now, her voice was a bit hoa.r.s.e.

"En, I'm home. You must've been so scared today!" When he thought of Zheng Mo's teary face, Su Ke's voice became even more gentle.
