Blue Moon Bride 37 The Board Meeting 1

Considering the fact that the only people in the room were Xia Wei, Zhuang Yue, and Feng Qiang, Feng Qiang, seeing his Boss acting and looking not like his usual self, was quite surprised at first but grew embarra.s.sed later on. Looking at both Xia Wei and Zhuang Yue acting lovey-dovey, he felt it was inappropriate to watch them so he just averted his gaze and stared at the sky outside.

"Don't you have a meeting?" Zhuang Yue suddenly asked while Xia Wei's still playing with her hair.

"I do have a meeting but not until later." Xia Wei replied and Zhuang Yue just nodded.

Upon hearing his Boss' reply, Feng Qiang's mouth twitched a little because he knew very well when Xia Wei's meeting was supposed to be

'Didn't you asked me to move your meeting that was supposed to be right now to an afternoon meeting, Boss?' Feng Qiang thought. Of course, he couldn't voice out his thoughts or else Xia Wei will shot him a deathly glare.

"Anyway, did Luo Feng talk to you about something?" Xia Wei suddenly asked but before Zhuang Yue could answer, the office door was suddenly opened and a man wearing a gray suit walked in.

Upon entering, Luo Feng immediately noticed both Xia Wei and Zhuang Yue sitting on the couch. The sight made Luo Feng's mouth twitched involuntarily. "Speak of the devil." Zhuang Yue mumbled.

"Can you two stopped flirting with each other so early in the morning?" Luo Feng complained. However, Xia Wei just ignored him and continued playing with Zhuang Yue's hair. Seeing that Xia Wei just ignored him, Luo Feng was unable to do anything anymore so he just walked towards them and sat opposite them.

"Are you ready, Miss Zhuang? Today, I will introduce you to the board of directors. I hope you are ready and already familiar with the company." Luo Feng said seriously.

"I'm ready, Mr. Luo. After the week, I'm already somewhat familiar with the company. You do not need to worry." Zhuang Yue said while smiling to a.s.sure Luo Feng. Luo Feng also smiled back looking at the confident Zhuang Yue.

However, Xia Wei caught what happened and he didn't like how Luo Feng smiled back to Zhuang Yue and of course, he also didn't like the fact that Zhuang Yue smiled like that at Luo Feng. But he couldn't get angry at Zhuang Yue so his anger was directed to Luo Feng who didn't even know the reason why Xia Wei's sending him a deathly glare right now.

So to escape from Xia Wei deathly glares, Luo Feng let out a dry cough and stood up. "Ahem. I will be going now. I will ask Lin Hao to get you later before the meeting with the board of directors and before I forget, I would like to tell you that I will leave the company to your hands for a week. I will be leaving the country tomorrow to have a vacation so take care of ALF when I'm not around." Luo Feng said calmly.

"What?!" Zhuang Yue asked surprised. She did not expect Luo Feng to trust her this much. Of course, she didn't know that she would be working with someone for a week while Luo Feng's on his vacation and that someone will be revealed to her tomorrow after Luo Feng left the country.

"Don't worry you will be fine. Besides, I will leave someone to help you here so everything will be alright. Good luck, Miss Zhuang." Luo Feng said and without even waiting for Zhuang Yue's reply he left her office.

After Luo Feng left, Zhuang Yue was feeling nervous and worried if she would really be fine. Xia Wei noticed the frown on Zhuang Yue's face, he stopped playing with her hair and then he cupped Zhuang Yue's little face, touched his forehead to hers, and stared directly to her eyes while saying: "You will be fine. Trust me."

Hearing Xia Wei's encouraging her, Zhuang Yue took a deep breath and smiled at him. "Thank you." Zhuang Yue said.

Seeing her smile, Xia Wei can't help himself and gave Zhuang Yue a peck on her lips. "I was tempted." Xia Wei said and then he showed a teasing smile. Zhuang Yue's face quickly became red and was speechless.

Xia Wei just chuckled on seeing Zhuang Yue's reaction. "Don't be nervous and just act normal around them at the meeting later. Luo Feng will be there, he will help you. Although Luo Feng loves to fool around, you can count on him if it is work related." Xia Wei said seriously.

Zhuang Yue listened to him and responded. "You really trust him, don't you?" Zhuang Yue asked. Xia Wei didn't answer her for a while and looked straight at her.

"Of course I trust him. He's my only friend." Xia Wei said casually and Zhuang Yue unexpectedly laughed at him.

"Why are you laughing?" Xia Wei asked curiously.

"I just didn't expect you to admit it. Haha." Zhuang Yue said, giggling. Xia Wei just lets her laugh at him while Feng Qiang who was standing on the side was trying to suppress his own laughter. This was the first time that he heard his boss talked about trusting someone. Although he was always acting so cold around Luo Feng, nevertheless he trusted him.

"Though I know that Luo Feng is more like a brother to you than your own real brother, I didn't really expect for you to trust him that much but I'm happy for you because at least you still have someone to trust." Zhuang Yue said again.

"Thank you. Aside from you, the only people whom I trust are Luo Feng and Feng Qiang." Xia Wei said casually.

Of course, hearing what Xia Wei said left Feng Qiang quite shocked. He really did not expect Xia Wei to say that he trusted him but aside from shock, Feng Qiang felt proud of himself. He's proud that he was serving such a person like Xia Wei.

Zhuang Yue and Xia Wei talked for little more when Lin Hao came to tell Zhuang Yue that the meeting would start soon and that she needed to go to the meeting room already. Lin Hao, stood near the office door while waiting for Zhuang Yue.

"So I guess I need to go now. You should go back to your company too. I know that you still have work to do." Zhuang Yue said and then she stood up.

"Don't worry about me. I can manage. You should go. I still have time so I will wait here." Xia Wei said.

Zhuang Yue just nodded at him and left the office with Lin Hao. But before she left the office, Xia Wei said something again.

"Again, remember, do not be nervous. If they create a problem for you let Luo Feng handle it. If he can't handle it, always remember that you still have me. I will be here." Xia Wei said seriously. Zhuang Yue just nodded at him again and then she sent him a grateful smile. After that Zhuang Yue and Lin Hao proceeded to the meeting room.

Hallo! Hope you guys liked this chapter.~ I decided to move the starting date of my daily update on Monday, the 6th of August. I'm sorry but things just got quite hectic for me. I almost have no time to make a new chapter. Give me a time to sort things out first, my course is killing me. Gawd.
