All four elders and core members of the family were called in for a meeting, except the patriarch who was still out on a business trip.

"Qian Ming, you must avenge our son!". She shouted while hugging her injured son, Xian Lee. She was also the woman that criticize Qian Xian in the last meeting.

"w.a.n.g Yin, calm down! The city lord offers them to stay at his manor, there is nothing we can do right now." Qian Ming explained.

"We can't do anything now, but Qian Ching could." one of the elders commented.

She frowned after hearing that then asked, "Fortunate encounter?"

"It was like this, a few months ago I encountered a severely injured man. I provided mediation for him and treated his wounds. The man later got better and he taught me Sword Faze, and left behind some elemental potions when he left." Xiao Yang then later described the clothes of the man.

After hearing the man's description, the City Lord exclaimed, "It must be him, that S-Cla.s.s mage who sold the copy of the Sword Faze technique to the Zhangs at the pavilion."

The news of an S-Cla.s.s mage auctioning at the pavilion was heard by everyone at the time, so anyone that was at the auction was able to back up Xiao Yang's description of the man. So Xie Ying and the man called Zhou Xun had no choice but to give up on pursuing the case.

Time went by and the story of Xiao Yang's fortunate was somehow leaked throughout the DongHe City.

Many people became jealous of him and thought that the only reason he won first place was due to him being lucky.

Fang Qiong, however, thought differently, having to experience Xiao Yang's Sword Faze knew that being taught by an S-Cla.s.s mage was not enough, he would have to be talented and also hardworking to achieve such proficient in using the skill.

Unexpectedly for Xiao Yang, Fang Qiong came knocking on to his door and asked if he could practice with her.

As they practiced together, Xiao Yang notices that Fang Qiong wasn't someone who gives up so easily. Even after losing against him in all of the duels, she always managed to pull herself up for another one.

Seeing that sky is about to get dark and Fang Qiong is still determined as ever, Xiao Yang cleared his throat and said, "Um... Fang Qiong the sky is already getting dark, we can practice tomorrow if you want."

Fang Qiong looked up at the sky and then said, "Alright, just one more match then"

After also losing that match, she kept her promise and made her way back to her room. She did, however, came looking for Xiao Yang again the next day and the next day.

Seeing how determined she was, Xiao Yang was happy to oblige and he wasn't going to pretend to get defeated. He was actually happy to see someone so determined, it was like seeing himself from another perspective.

Three days had already gone by since the tournament, everyone was ready to depart to Thunderbolt Academy.

Qian Lee however was still slightly injured and many parts of his body were wrapped in clothes. Still, he was determined to depart with them, Thunderbolt Academy is an opportunity that he can not afford to miss out on.

There were three large carriages, the carriage was driven by various types of summoned beasts each of them was about the size of a large rhino.

The two people from Thunderbolt Academy got into the same carriage.

Qian Xian, Xiao Yang, and Fang Qiong together in one carriage.

Qian Lee, Qian Fei, and Zhang Yuxi was together. Qian Lee was staring at Zhang Yuxi the entire time.

Even though the two are engaged, Zhang Yuxi found it sick being creepily stared at the entire time.

The journey will take ten days before they are able to reach Thunderbolt Academy, so they occasionally stop by at villages along their way.

After seven days, they arrived at a particular village that was in the mid of a panic. The village was only E-Cla.s.s but a C-Cla.s.s portal unexpectedly appeared near the village.

If n.o.body destroys the core of the portal, all of the beasts inside will come out and inevitably destroy the village and its residents.

With the current power of the village, defeating a C-Cla.s.s portal is an impossible feat.
