Jasmine complained while ma.s.saging her sore arms. She had to carefully listen to Elliot and concentrate on every word to not miss anything. He was a strict professor and anyone caught slacking will have a miserable fate. Even the usually playful Cara kept her silence and didn't even dare to chitchat like in other cla.s.ses. Nevertheless, the cla.s.s was informative and definitely worth it as Elliot wasn't someone to disappoint. His popularity precedes him and although he was hard to reason with, he still did his job perfectly and meticulously, answering anything asked by his students.
The only one unaffected and in a bright mood was Melissa, who had the usual creepy smile on her face as she turned her head and gazed at an incoming young man heading in their direction.
"Rika, what are you going to eat?"
Jasmine asked the ever-so-silent Rika. The short-haired girl was wearing a dark red hoodie that covered her hair and, of course, she wore the uniform above it. For the female, the academy's uniform was actually cyanide blue skirt and a white blouse-like cloth. It didn't reveal too much yet it wasn't too outdated either.
"I'm not hungry." She responded, her tone, as usual, almost inaudible.
..
Like a ghost, Bin appeared behind Bin and remained silent. The girl was slightly startled as she turned around and gazed at him with a frown on her face.
"What took you so long?"
"I got lost."
Hearing such a poor excuse, Jasmine rolled her eyes but didn't bicker with him as it'll only worsen her mood.
"Let's go to the cafeteria and see what's on today's menu." Melissa suggested to her friends while throwing a couple of glances at Bin, who feigned ignorance.
The girls didn't remain there any longer and headed toward the cafeteria, which was a wooden building relatively small but very well-decorating and smelled of all kinds of food. The place was packed with students but due to the abundance of staff, there wasn't a queue or a fight over a meal.
"Go get me some rice, salad, and orange juice."
Jasmine sat around an empty table with her friends while ordering Bin. She leaned her back on the chair crossed her legs, trying to keep a 'n.o.ble' image, however, this only made Bin chuckle for he knew that she very much wanted to sit comfortably instead of such a daring, perhaps even revealing position.
"Hey, can you get me some food too?"
Surprisingly, before he can go get Jasmine's order, Cara stopped him. Unlike previous times, her tone was less authoritative and her words seemed more like a request rather than an order. As she said that, the girl glanced at Jasmine then at Melissa, clearly, those two spoke to her about her att.i.tude. She didn't want to lower herself to a servant's level but it remains a fact that Bin doesn't belong to her so he's not obliged to show any kind of respect.
"Yes, I want to order a few things too. You wouldn't mind, right?"
Bin thought for a moment then looked at Jasmine, who nodded her head at him, letting him know her thoughts without the need for words. Though he disliked Cara and Melissa, he still couldn't openly reject them like this. Not only are there a lot of people around but his master also agreed so he was left with no choice but comply. Each time he's meant to do something he hates, he thinks of his sister and forces himself. After all, being a servant is only a temporary humiliation until his money problem is solved.
In the end, Bin had to get the food for all the girls with the exception of Rika, who insisted that she wasn't hungry. With his mind trying to remember all their orders, the young man headed to the woman in charge of serving the food and successfully filled a small cart with several plates.
As he slowly pushed the cart toward them, someone abruptly appeared and b.u.mped into it, causing the filled cup of orange juice to spill on his trousers.
'Sure, why the h.e.l.l wouldn't this happen to me?'
He lifted his head and gazed at the 'victim', his face deadpan and drained with a gaunt of expression stare.
"Sh*t can't you watch where you're going?"
It was actually the blondie from earlier, the same student who was bullying that four-eyes. Just as he was about to continue snapping at Bin, a soft voice rang beside him.
"Dear brother, is something wrong?"

Upon hearing this voice, the young man literally shook from head to toe and took two steps back. With wide-open eyes, he stared at Melissa for a few seconds before saying
"ah sister… it's nothing. I accidentally hit this cart. Excuse me, I'll have to go change my uniform."
Without even waiting for her to speak again, he darted out of the cafeteria as if he had been pardoned. As for Bin, he stood there, a bit surprised as he never expected the arrogant blond youngster to be Melissa's brother. They neither looked alive or behaved similarly. Bin never imagined they're actually sibling and, from the looks of it, he was afraid of her.
'I guess it's not surprising to be scared of this two-faced snake. She's crazy.'
Bin forced a smile and nodded at her before continuing to push the cart toward the girls.
