After a never-before-insistence, Bin let himself dragged by this guy, who claimed that there was a close place where they could have some fun. Apparently, on a car, it's only a few minutes away from the academy so he doesn't have to worry about returning late to Jasmine.
Aldren knew Bin's circ.u.mstances so he definitely wouldn't deliberately cause problems, at least that's what he confidently claimed.
"I'm fine, I guess."
Seeing that Bin truly looked alright, along with his verbal confirmation, Aldren felt relieved. He chuckled and said:
"I knew that Ann could fix you. She's a medical prodigy!"
"I can't deny that."
Even Dr. Galen was unable to come up with a temporary fix like Ann, moreover, that female doctor was so young yet was able to achieve so much with only a few tests. Her talent certainly is one of a kind, though her att.i.tude changes so drastically as if she's permanently on her period.
'She's a bit noisy' Thought Bin as he remembered her constant nagging and refusal to hand out the Buster Drug. Fortunately, he's not obliged to use it now that Ann planted those pumping things inside him.
"Anyway, where are we going?"
Aldren grinned, took out a cigarette and lit it up. Only when he exhaled a small cloud of smoke did he reply to Bin.
"If I spoil you then it'll no longer be surprising or amusing."
The red sports car was suddenly turned to the left, entering a dirt road that seemed to lead to nowhere. Bin curiously looked around, spotting nothing but an endless sea of similar-looking trees.
Only after five minutes did the view change as the dirt road finally reached an end. What welcomed Bin's sight was a big and luxurious building that seemed to be a private residence.
The manor walls sprang from the soil like the very dirt insulted them. Such ornate sandstone was too pretty to touch like the earth, indeed it was fancier than many a palace.
Bin took several seconds to collect his thoughts and enjoy the beauty of what lays before him.
"Pretty, isn't it? They call it the Boundary."
"The Boundary? Why?"
Aldren shrugged his shoulders and marched toward the entrance, where two burly black-clothed men stood at both sides. They wore sun-gla.s.ses and had their hands behind their backs, standing there motionlessly like a pair of statues.
They did notice the incoming blond youth but didn't react, letting him and Bin enter without any need for identification.
"This place provides anything you can think of. As my new dear friend, I brought you here to achieve some minor success and enjoy your time."
The first thing that Bin saw upon entering was the stairs ahead which were twisted like a perfect spiral. The room was eerily empty with the exception of a masked elderly who walked to the two young men and handed them masks.
Aldren motioned for his companion to wear the mask before the two were guided upstairs. By the way, Bin wore a red mask that had the face of a phoenix-like creature while Aldren was a fox.
The masked old man guided them to a s.p.a.cious room where the floor was covered with a red carpet soft and comfortable to walk on.

Bin saw several gambling machines, tables where players were playing poker, blackjack, and other games that needed partic.i.p.ants to bet money. Without waiting for his reaction, Aldren guided him to a reception desk where he received a unique identification card then handed him a 50,000 won bill before saying
"There's a machine that always rewards a first-timer. You'll get 20 times this amount if you play it before anything else."
The dandy youth pointed a strange green machine that had one ma.s.sive screen but no b.u.t.tons or explanation on how to play it.
Aldren took out another bill and explained to Bin:
"The identification card you just received can temporarily store money. It is also necessary to play the games here. Once you leave this place, you'll leave your card here but can get all the money inside."
As he couldn't see Bin's face, Aldren didn't know if the youth was angry, agitated or perplexed.
"Oh, I a.s.sume you don't mind gambling, right?"
There are moral people who refuse to gamble, deeming it as 'dirty', however, Aldren was sure that Bin wasn't one of those people. He knew the servant's financial circ.u.mstances and was aware of his secret illness which is why he decided to bring him along. After all, any bit of money could prove useful to him.
As per Aldren's instruction, Bin walked to the green machine and planted the card. The widescreen started changing into random numbers until it stopped on 1,000,000 won. Five seconds later, his card was ejected and the 50,000 turned into 1,000,000.
Basically, this machine scans the money on your card and changes it into a random number. The veterans obviously don't play it because their card has astronomical amounts of money, however, first-timers always play this to earn a million won from the get-go.
Bin couldn't believe what's happening as he stared at the number engraved on the card.
'To think that I earned a million so easily… I must keep it.'
Unknowingly, he promised himself to not waste away this million and be glad that he earned such a big amount in less than a minute.
