After she thoroughly checked Bin and made sure he really was 'alright', Jasmine said that and waited for an answer. Bin nodded his head while replying
"I'll do that, then."
Bin didn't linger there any longer, he turned around and left. Melissa followed right after him after saying
"I was growing bored of the party too so I'll give him a ride."
It wasn't just an excuse, she truly wasn't a fan of this 'celebratory party', not only is it meaningless, it's just not enjoyable. Some of the students will 'spar' with each other for the sake of showing off their flashy techniques to the teachers and try to gain their favor or impress the top students so they can join their group.
With quick steps and fast pace, Bin left through another exit, he was only thinking about getting as far away from this place as possible.
Coincidentally, there was another person who was leaving and happened to notice Bin. He wore a white tuxedo and multiple rings, each with a specific design.
It was none other than the dandy-looking Aldren, who's one of the few people who know about Bin's sickness.
"Oh! Fancy seeing you here!"
Aldren wasn't in the room when the dispute occurred so he was unaware of what happened. Though, he did notice Bin's unusually pale face and his stressed expression.
Bin wasn't in the mood to talk with this youngster so he just pa.s.sed by him. As for Melissa, she glared at Aldren for a second then kept following Bin.
"Wait… wait!"
Bin turned a deaf ear to her and kept walking away. At some point, he felt like vomiting as the dizziness worsened and the area under his right knee started hurting, a clear symptom that it'll become a dark spot like the others.
If it continues like this, the worse will happen and Melissa will start growing suspicious. Bin abruptly turning around, startling the incoming Melissa.
"I don't need your help so b.u.g.g.e.r off!"
The blond girl showed him a mesmerizing smile while retorting
"My my, are you really embarra.s.sed about what happened?"
Bin leaned closer to her while glaring at her with a hostile expression while warning her:
"Didn't I tell you to p.i.s.s off? You don't have anyone to protect you here so you better leave before you regret it."
Unfazed by his warning, Melissa chuckled and said back:

"Back then, I was unprepared but now…"
Her hand emitted a white light which formed a circle around her
"I'm a student in the magic academy so… I can defend myself."
Bin glanced at the shining white circle before taking one step forward, unafraid of the girl. Though she acted tough, the magic technique they learn here are basics and most of them are not meant for battle.
Seeing him about to stay true to his warning, Melissa took one step back before raising her hand. It was then that someone appeared out of nowhere, interrupting them and standing in between.
"Wow wow relax guys!"
He held back the angry Bin while trying to peacefully solve this situation. He considered himself Bin's friend so he could not stand still and watch Melissa haw her way.
The blond girl became extremely annoyed by Aldren's appearance. The two appeared to be on odds though Aldren didn't blatantly show it like her.
Aldren turned to look at Melissa then said
"The party is still ongoing so why don't you go and have fun? I'll drive him home."
Then, he supported Bin to his sports car and quickly drove off, leaving a confused and angry Melissa.
"Hmpf! That meddling snake!"
She stomped the ground and left the area a few seconds later.

"Hey hey don't die on me!"
Although he was busy driving, Aldren kept shaking Bin, who was in a very bad state. Not only was his skin extremely pale, but he was also absorbing all the Mana around him like a vacuum, plus, he was semi-conscious and unresponsive to Aldren's calls.
"s.h.i.t! What's happening to him?"
Aldren remembered what Ann said and linked it with the party, quickly coming to a conclusion. Having no choice but to reach the clinic sooner than later, the dandy youth pressed on the pedals.
****
Doctor Ann, who was busy reading a book while eating some snacks was surprised as her friend barged into the laboratory while dragging an unconscious Bin.
Seeing this, the female abruptly stood up and pointed at a nearby empty bed. She didn't need an explanation to understand what's happening.
"Put him on the operating table!"
The blond youth did as ordered and was about to back away only for his friend to yell at him
"Get me the syringe and the scalpel."
While saying that, Ann checked Bin's pulse and was relieved to see him still alive. Currently, Bin looked no different than a different person.
Furthermore, through her Medical Eyes, Ann was able to see the activity of his body and how it is madly devouring Mana nonstop.
"This can't go on… I'll have to solve this absorption 'ability' right now."
Bin can't keep coming here every time this occurs. There needs to be a temporary solution that will stop the suction of Mana originating from his body.
Ann thought of many solutions and now she's going to try one of them. If this continues any longer, Bin will die tonight for sure.
The problem is that, despite taking the Buster Drug, the amount of Mana in that room was just too much for him, or more precisely, for his body. The more Mana there is in his surroundings, the more his body craves for it, wanting to absorb it all.
Theoretically, the best way to stop this absorption is to create a mean that can completely negate it. Something that can release the contained Mana so it does not harm the Mana or lingers inside.
What Doctor Ann planned to use is a rather simple and small device. By no means is it a permanent solution but it should resist the concentrated flow of Mana inside his body for a period of time, allowing her to come up with a cure.
The device, or rather, the devices she'll planet in several locations of his body are none other than personally crafted coil springs that will pump the Mana outside of the body automatically.
These springs are also filled with Mana so it will come a time where they'll break and re-planting will not work. However, that didn't stop Ann from cutting Bin's flesh and carefully planting the minuscule coil springs and making sure they'll not ruin his body.
In total, she planted six of this device, each for one limb, one in his abdomen and one right under his throat. It's definitely a risky and bold move from a doctor but this was way better than watching him slowly die.
At least, if she's not capable of finding a cure, he can still live the remainder of his days in peace and not be overly bothered by his sickness.
