Although this Aldren is surely a young master, Bin didn't care and coldly spoke to the dandy youth with a threatening glare. He didn't mind if he offended the latter because the matter of his sickness is an absolute secret, no one but him, his sister and doctor know of it.
He doesn't know what the consequences would be if the girls know about it, but from his point of view, he wants neither their pity nor help. Moreover, there is a chance Jasmine would kick him from being a servant after knowing the truth, from the very beginning Bin never had a good opinion about rich kids so he wouldn't be surprised if that happened.
Despite receiving the glare from Bin, Aldren was unfazed as he stared at the latter with fanatical expression, it was unpleasant to be stared at like that but Bin could nothing, it would be too far if he were to slap this youth. Shouting at him is one thing and slapping him is a whole other matter, it won't end up well for him, at least.
After enjoying the 'view' for a dozen or so seconds, the dandy youth nodded his head and spoke after he spared a glance at the girls and saw that they were no longer bothering with him
"Pale skin, good looks, and a chilling aura, just as I have read! Hehehe"
The youth did his best to contain his excitement, his body trembled as he hugged his shoulders in a weird manner, anyone would see him as a pervert in such a situation.
Bin really wanted to leave this youth but forced himself to stop for he didn't know if this idiot understood his previous words or not.
The youth was just about to talk again when his cell phone rang, he impatiently took out his phone from his pocket and was about to hang up when his expression suddenly changed when his eyes landed on the name of the caller. He hastily picked up the call and answered with a tone vastly different from his usual one
"Yes, father."
The conversation didn't last long, heck! All Aldren said was repeating the word 'Yes' over and over again until the end of the call. Bin patiently waited as he looked at the 180degree change of this kid.
'It seems he's quite afraid of his father… or his daddy is very strict hmm if he behaves like this normally then it wouldn't be hard to tame that lousy, annoying b.i.t.c.h.'
Obviously, Bin was thinking about Cara, that brat which kept cursing him the first time they met. He hurt her, more or less, but it was totally deserved to he didn't feel the least bit regretful over that matter, however, from the couple of icy glares she would throw at him every now and then, he's sure that she'll try to cause him trouble or extract revenge, one way or another.
He already speculated that she'd most likely send her bodyguards or some random thugs to beat him up, that would surely satisfy her, Bin wasn't athletic, he had a muscular body but he wasn't an experienced fighter, he would suffer a lot of injuries if he was beaten up by thugs, more so by special bodyguards, however, he could always use his wits.
Such a thing happening wasn't a certainty, maybe she won't do anything but if she does, Bin swore that he'll definitely make her pay, one way or another and if, just if something happens to his sister, if it was this girl Cara or anyone else who instigated that, Bin would spare no efforts to kill that person, without any hesitation, resorting to any possible mean.
His sister is all he has got and he's doomed to die sooner or later, at least he'd get rid of an annoyance before pa.s.sing away, or so thought Bin.
"Yes Father, I'll come right away."
After he hung up, Aldren had a downcast expression, he looked at Bin and said
"It's a shame but I have to go right now…. really a pity *sigh*. I'll come to find you soon, don't forget about me! My name is Aldren Kan."
The dandy-youth waved his hand as he ran off from that area, clearly in a hurry. Whatever his father told him, it made him quite panicked and stressful, he didn't even bid the girls farewell but it's not like they cared about his present.
Bin breathed a sigh of relief as the young man left, at least, he won't be talking about the previous matter in front of the girls, when he appears next time, he'll die with it, for now he has to focus on his current duty, which is rather tiresome as his sickness chose to take effect today.
Days like this one don't occur frequently, at first, it will happen once every four to six months but as his body's state worsened and the sickness started taking effect, the frequency of these symptoms would come more often than not.
For the last period, eight days of the month would be like this one, it's annoying to deal with it but from Bin's point of view, it's better than having the symptoms every day of the month, he thought that it could be much worse so he just bore with it despite the scorching sun and the annoying Jasmine who tried to take her revenge and make him do tiresome duties like standing in the queue when she could do herself.
Then again, she's a pampered little brat who can do nothing by herself, which is why she has servants. Bin wondered how these girls grow up, like how do they become responsible adults? Do they even become responsible or do they rely on their wealth to solve everything?
'Hmpf! There will come a day when money won't matter as death is not always avoidable!'
Bin knew this more than anyone, he was certain that no amount of wealth could save him, after all, his doctor was
special and had taken great efforts to cure him but to no avail, it's practically a doomed case with no cure, just a straight barren path leading to his death, a path which Bin silently accepted.
