Chapter 69        Attack of Fury

The a.s.sault began and the situation instantly changed.

The white-haired old man was still complaining until a few moments ago. However, Nancy Stephanie watched him get shot in his head in just a split second. His skull burst and b.l.o.o.d.y brain pulp splashed onto Nancy’s body and face and she turned into a blood-stained woman.

The workers in the jewelry shop were too busy preparing for the fight that they did not even know where the enemies were. The attackers outside were firing like crazy at the shop. However, most of the bullets. .h.i.t the ornate and beautiful decorations in the shop.

The crossfire went on for two to three minutes. The walls started to chip and fall and the furniture and equipment broke as they fell. Most of the workers who lost control were hiding in a corner crying loudly. Some of them ran, but very soon, they were shot by the bullets.

Nancy Stephanie could not even bother about the brain pulp on her body. She started screaming the moment she saw the gunshot. She laid on the ground and cried like a frightened baby.

When the firing stopped, the entire jewelry shop was nearly destroyed. A few gangsters with murderous looks walked in with guns. Their eyes were brutal and cold. The workers who survived in the shop were on the verge of a mental breakdown. When they saw the gangsters walk in with guns, they could only raise their hands and cry to express their surrender.

The gangsters became more arrogant when they saw how weak the workers were. They started laughing and walked nonchalantly between the injured workers and the dead bodies. At the same time, they searched for their favourite expensive jewelry in the broken cabinets.

Nancy choked when she saw the scene. She recognized that the man who had scars all over his face was the one who had begged for her mercy and was released. Not only did he lie to her about his innocence, he also brought tragedy to the jewelry shop.

Following that, the gangsters started to catch the female workers in the shop to fulfill their needs. The sound of their screaming and wailing filled the ruined shop. Nancy was included and the man who caught her was the man whom she had helped.

“Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this?” Nancy struggled to escape, but the man did not recognize her. He pointed the gun at her head and yelled, “B*tch, stop moving! Otherwise, I’ll need to play with your dead body.”

“Oh G.o.d, why? Why?” Nancy nearly had a mental breakdown. What saved her was not G.o.d, but it was the disgusting brain pulp that had splashed on her earlier.

“B*tch, you should take a shower,” the man pulled her hair and dragged her to a drinking fountain. He filled a bucket of water and splashed it on her body. It did not work, blood was still all over her body.

After a couple of attempts, the man lost his patience and cursed out loud. He aimed at Nancy’s head with his gun and said, “B*tch, you’re disgusting! I think it’s better for you to die.”

Looking at the muzzle of the gun, Nancy’s mind went blank and she lost her hearing and other senses. Her body felt weightless and she was just waiting for that final moment.

Bang…..went the sound of a gunshot!

Zhou Qingfeng was holding his Benelli M4 and came in from the side to arrive at the entrance of the jewelry shop. His face was cold. The mess in the shop was at its extreme - gangsters were raping the female workers happily; they played and touched their bodies.

n.o.body even noticed Zhou Qingfeng walk in. He did not instantly fire, he drew a saber out and walked past a gangster who was raping a worker.

As he pa.s.sed, the knife slid through the gangster’s neck and blood from his carotid artery began to splurt. The lady in front of the man saw the man’s head break and bleed. She screamed at an even higher pitch and it was louder than the noise in the shop.

Two of the gangsters nearby were s.c.r.e.w.i.n.g with a lady. Naturally, they turned their head around as they heard the scream. What awaited them was a big, thick barrel.

Bang! Bang!

Two shots were released in a row; the semi-automatic shotgun was very quick. Large amount of bullets flew and pierced right into their laughing faces. It was as if their heads were made from b.u.t.ter, only blood could be seen dripping after the shots.

After the gunshots, the other gangsters who were raping realized that they were being attacked! The gangsters with their pants off quickly tried to grab their guns, but of course, a few of them who were closer to Zhou Qingfeng did not make it.

Bang! Bang!

Zhou Qingfeng released another two shots. After the second shot, Zhou Qingfeng became self-aware and saved the last two bullets. He stepped back and avoided the attacking route. Butcher followed him, “Kill them all.”
