"I was just nervous. I didn't expect it, and the heir games are soon and I didn't know if this would add trouble or pressure. Plus, we had never really talked about if you wanted kids with me, not to mention the possibilities that this baby could be different. Then there is also me becoming a mother. I didn't exactly have a great role model and I do great with Raina but what if my own child is different? What about Raina what will she think? I don't want her to feel as though she is being replaced. I just really didn't know what to do or say and this was the only place I could think of to stabilize my emotions. I know being overly emotional isn't good for the baby. I was already failing as a moth…" Before she could finish his lips caught hers and her words died away. The fear and anxiety was stolen away by that kiss. He took them away, thoroughly cleansing her before letting her tender mouth go, her lips slightly red from the intensity of the kiss.

"Alright since your breathless, it's my turn to speak." His words were oddly shameless, as though he was not the reason she was a touch breathless. "First off, Heir games be d.a.m.ned. You and this child are more important and if they have a problem I will deal with them. However, pregnant wives has happened before and we have a work around so don't worry about that. Made with love, and cared for. You will be a great mother." Clovis soothed her as though she was the child at this point and he was the parent. Afterall, he had much more experience in this parenting thing than she did. Raising Raina was enough to give him a bit of a edge.

"What will Raina think?" She asked, circling back to the most important question and Clovis smiled.

"Raina will be an amazing big sister. She's talented and rather patient. I don't think there will be any issues, we will just have to make sure she is included in everything. We are a family and the new addition is her sibling too, even though it is by half I doubt the child will care. She might be reserved at first but we can rea.s.sure her between the pair of us." Clovis offered honestly, he wasn't quite sure what his daughter would think of siblings. They had never really talked about it before because it was never a option. He could probably predict it better but at the moment he was a touch more focused on containing his excitement. Kyera had legitimate worries, they had to be tended to before he could rejoice over the woman in his lap and their child.

"I hope so." Kyera agreed and he chuckled again.

"I know so, Mommy to be." He whispered softly against her ear. "Now then, no more worrying. We need to get you back to the castle and get you fed. We can tell Raina after dinner and then we can tell your G.o.dfather after that. From there we will just see what happens. Your job, love is to relax, don't worry and let me take care of everything." Clovis explained, taking full control of the situation. She nodded feeling as though a large weight had been removed from her shoulders.

Clovis smiled softly and began to shift her into his arms. He easily stood up, one arm behind her shoulders, the other arm under her knees. She chuckled and wrapped her arms around his neck.
