Saksham felt his whole head ringing so hard that he was about to faint. At the same time, he felt the whole world slowing down in front of him and his senses were getting sharper and sharper till they reached a superhuman level. Dust and smoke filled the entire alley. Saksham couldn't see anything ahead but he could hear the piercing wails in front of him which died down in a second and silence fell in the whole alley.

Soon, Saksham opened his eyes to see the whole path ahead of him had a huge chunk missing. It was as if it was mowed down by something terrible. The places where the flames were not able to reach were also scorched black. Smoke was rising from the place where the flame had pa.s.sed through. As for the Blood Demon, no traces of its existence were left. Not even ashes remained. Just as he was about to sigh with relief, Saksham heard sounds of gla.s.ses shattering around. Saksham understood that this should be because of that sonic boom. Everything that happened above might seem like it took a long time but it happened in a span of a second. With his heightened senses, Saksham was able to perceive every change around him and process it in his brain at a lightning-fast speed. So, he felt that it did indeed take a long time for all this when in reality everything happened instantly.

But with this, Saksham understood that people might be coming there soon. With such a loud noise, someone will definitely be coming to check the situation. Some might even call Police to report. Saksham thought that it would be better to just escape before anyone could see him there. He didn't want to get involved in any kind of trouble. Just as he was about to escape, he heard a "BOOM" as he felt the ground shake a little. This sound did not stop as it got closer and closer to Saksham. It felt like something huge was walking towards him. And whatever it was, Saksham didn't want to face it at all.

He saw a huge hand coming out of the suspended smoke and dust. And after another tremor, Saksham saw a huge body emerging out of the smoke and dust. Saksham was almost on the verge of tears when he saw what it was.
