Jun felt like he just woke up from a long dreary sleep.

His physical body stopped in its' track as the strength it had before slowly melted away like snow in the summer.

The peak heaven realm fiend-G.o.d body began crumbling away. Each and everyone of his meridian breaking apart again. The stress placed on his bone and body from the battle returned back to him. His bones shattering and muscles tearing apart.

Except even through all this his heart beat strong like a dragon's roar.

Due to the extreme body pain Jun fainted on the spot after regaining his consciousness.

Ziyu who was in pain before toughed up and stood up even with his raggedy breathing. Using his right hand he brought out some pills and fed it to everyone. After that San Ti, Hui and Mei all woke up.

"Ximei can you still walk?" Ziyu asks.

"Yes Mr. Ziyu," Ximei answered as she was the only one not injured throughout this process. It might have been due to her eyes since she managed to dodge every lethal energy wave.

Then Ziyu took out a whistle and blew into it. An inscription on the whistle light up and a couple tamed beasts showed up. It was precisely the giant rabbit, and a couple others that Ziyu trained and brought along. He swiftly had everyone get on his tamed beasts and carried them out of the forest.

"Did you plan for all that to happen?" the soul of Ancestor Long asks.

"Not really, but even the best of plans requires some luck and coincidences to succeed," chuckles Ancestor Tian.

"That is some Xenoonic s.h.i.t then for it to happen," laughs Ancestor Long. "I really hope he will succeed." He sighs.

"So do I. So do I."

When Jun woke up the next day he felt the most excruciating pain of his life. All his bones from the neck down shattered into a million pieces along with teared muscles.

Jun let out gut wrenching scream, "AAAARRRRGHHHHH! AAAAHHHH!"

"Lin! Lin! Calm down." Xintong who was beside him woke up and tries to comfort him.

"It hurts so much!" Jun cried while tried to hold it all back. Destroy my meridians? Fine! Beat me up? Fine! But what the h.e.l.l is this? Its like I got steam rolled waste down.

"Nurse!" Xintong screamed.

A nurse came rushing in even before she heard Xintong scream as the scream from Jun scared many of her patients.

A warm blue color qi covers her hand as she moves it all over Jun's body but it was useless. Nothing was healing everything was still shatter in a million pieces. His whole body was wrapped up in a cast.

Seeing that the healing wasn't working she directly moved to put him back to sleep.

"Thank you," Xintong said to the nurse sincerely.

A very strange phenomenon was happening inside Jun's body at this moment that n.o.body has noticed. The blood of the ancient primordial Chaos Fiend-G.o.d Dragon was eating Jun's flesh and was then spitting it back out.

Due to Jun's powerful soul he was woken up again and a shrill scream rang throughout the hospital.

This event kept happening over and over again throughout the day that they placed a special nurse in his care. Basically a knock out nurse. They were feeding him nutrient through a special method. They call it symbiosis. It is a special time of plant that uses a host to absorb nutrients from the air or its surroundings. They need the help of the Host's soul to survive and return they they balance out an equilibrium of providing the host from the perfect nutrient.

At first they use one plant on Jun but it died a couple minutes later. Then two. Then three. It was at four that they found the plants weren't dying off.

"What the h.e.l.l is wrong with that patient?" some of the nurse and doctors were whispering and chatting among themselves.

Another week pa.s.sed and Jun was still in excruciating pain whenever he woke up. Every time he woke up he has caught sight of Xintong beside his bed. It warmed his heart but then he was knocked out and put right back to sleep.

Today was like any other day. Xintong sat there mediating as someone enters into the room. Mei was wearing a floral dress and carrying food.

"Xintong I think you spent enough time here and it is time to go. In a week and a half the examination for Ziren College will begin."

"I want to be here when he wakes up."

"You been with him and sleeping here for a week now. Even Ziyu is getting worried for you."

"Don't worry I can pa.s.s the exam. I been studying and practicing here. It might not be ideal but its calm here."

"Alright. I brought lunch for ya. I'll leave here. I gotta go back and practice harder."

"Has Brother Ziyu got use to his new arm yet?" Xintong asks.

"No. He said its only at about the 70 to 80 percent area."


"Sigh. Its' my fault. I was too arrogant."

"We agreed to go with you and we thought the plan we came up with was feasible too. It just didn't go as plan. Luckily we all survived. We don't blame you so don't blame yourself either. Cheer up. He will survive this. He even survived an army of bat bees so this is nothing."

"Okay."

"Alright see ya."

A couple hours later Jun woke up. He didn't scream out in pain this time but he could feel that his body was completely healed as compared to before. Not only that but his dantian was healed too.

"Xintong can you get the nurse to take my cast off?" Jun asks.

Xintong was reading a book the size of an encyclopedia was startled.

"Xing Lin! You're alright! Are you in any pain?"

"I'm fine but this cast is really uncomfortable, hahaha" Jun jokes.

"I'll go get a nurse."

The nurse came in and was surprise that Jun woke up without screaming in pain. Is this guy okay? The extent of his injury can't be healed that fast.

"Hi nurse. Can you take the cast off me. It's really itchy and uncomfortable underneath."

"I'll have to get the doctors permission before I can."

After a while the doctor came in and did an examination before taking off the cast.

"Mr. Lin it is a miracle your whole body is completely healed! Even the meridian points and bone are reconstructed. If I were to take a guy your current body is comparable to a Master realm expert. Through strangely you don't have an announce of qi in your body."

Jun gave a mysterious smile before paying the doctor for his services and left with Xintong.

When they got inside a taxi Jun told the driver his address.

"Xintong sorry for putting you through all this," Jun apologizes.

"Lin what are you saying? You saved our lives not once but twice. This is the least I can do for you," pouted Xintong.

"Just right time right place I guess," Jun replied.

Xintong teases back, "Most people would run away even in those right time right place."

Then a head split pain a.s.saulted Jun randomly out of nowhere. "Ah!"

Xintong became worried, "whats wrong? Should we go back to the hospital?"

Jun tried to use his powerful soul to contain it. "No just bring me home for now."

With his hand clutch against his hand Jun tried to do everything he could to contain the pain.

"Driver can you drive faster?" Xintong asked which also seemed like a demand.

"I'll try," the driver answered back seeing Jun in pain.

A voice echoed in Jun's head. Let me finish you impatient child. The car finally arrived at his apartment. Xintong helped carry Jun into his house.

"Is there anything I can do?" Xintong asks.

"No. AAHHH!" Jun screamed as he fell onto his bed. "This is the backlash from using that technique."


"I'll say with you then. Tell if you need anything."

"Endure it child. Endure it. Get through this and you will be reborn!"

"What the h.e.l.l! I suffered enough pain in this past month to live through a life time! Why didn't tell me!" Jun groan mentally.

Jun punches the wall to vent the pain. All he did was break a hole in the wall.

"AAARRGGHHHH!!!" Jun screams in anguish. He began banging his head on the wall to try and knock himself out.

Xintong watch from the side in pain seeing him like this.

She rushed forward and hugs him tightly to prevent him from hurting himself. "I can't imagine the pain you're going through but I'll be here to get through it with you."
