"Sleepy head wake up its time for breakfast," Xing Mei shouted while barging into the room.

"I thought dad sent you to Kunming? What are you doing back already?" I asked suspiciously.

"And you got disown and your back somehow," she snickers teasingly. "We were suppose to leave but dad called us back when we were on the plane."

"Oh. What Feng doing right now?" He asks curiously.

"Eating breakfast like usual. Why are you so weird today?" Mei asks.

"Nothing. A lot happened yesterday."

"What did happen? I called you and you told me you got kicked out but nothing afterwards. When I came back last night you were already sound asleep."

"I don't remember. Lets go eat. I'm famished. Hahaha."

After Jun brushes his teeth, and got some clothes on he went downstairs for breakfast. By the time he got to the table normally it just be him alone or with Xing Mei but today his father, and Xing Feng were both at the table.

"Jun what took you so long? Dad and I have been waiting for you for a while now. If you take any longer we're all gonna be late," Feng reprimanded.

Jun smiled knowingly and not taking it to heart. When he looked over at his father's direction he saw that his father was pretty nonchalant like the day before never happened.

"Jun eat fast. We have a meeting to attend," Xing Tian said.

"What meeting?" Jun asks a all confused. This was the first time his dad ever brings him to one of his personal meetings.

"Its regarding a deal between the mining corp and our Tian corp. You will come and listen in. If you have any inputs let me know before speaking. These people are all powerful and not to be messed with."

"Yes dad."

Once they finish eating breakfast Jun dressed up fancily. Huh? Why am I like this? I don't usually care about stuff like this. Jun thought. This was then pushed to the back of his head when he heard his father called him down.

As he followed his dad out the door and into a car, Jun's mind began to wonder. I thought I was pa.s.s the point where I want to please my dad. Even Bu Fan said I broke through the shackles after the argument. Why do I still feel the desire to not disappoint and earn his praises then? Could it be that deep down I have a father complex? … Nah that be weird as h.e.l.l.

Jun and his father Tian soon arrived at the headquarters of the mining corps. Just like the name suggests the mining corp deals with mining but this mining corp deals with a very a special mine.

Why do I feel like I forgot something? Jun wondered as they went in.

They deal with mining qi ores. Qi ores are ores that absorbed qi from the earn over time. The Mining corp deals with mining those ores.

Why is father here? Jun wonders I didn't know we deal with mining related stuff.

"Dad I didn't know we deal with this stuff," Jun said telepathically to his dad.

"Its because you been to busy with alchemy that I you don't know. Most of the money we make don't come from pill forging but from qi stone extraction. We change the qi ore into qi crystals. The energy inside would be 10 times purer and also 10 times stronger. Making its value 50 to 100 times the value of an mine ore."

"Oh. Are we here to get a contract?"

"Yes."

Ugh Jun moan wincing in pain for a second. He felt like someone gave him a blow to the head by a hammer. Just as fast as the pain came it disappeared.

"You said something?"

"No," Jun answers as his expression becomes cold the moment he pa.s.ses through the door.

"Mr. Xing welcome to our Mining corps. The meeting will begin in 10 mins please make yourself at home," greeted the a.s.sistant. His cultivation was at the Heaven's realm which surprised Jun a bit. For an a.s.sistant to be a Heaven's realm cultivator the man himself must either be filthy rich or possess immense power. It's mostly the latter.

"No worries. We arrived a bit early," Xing Tian replied politely. There is no point in offending a man whose a.s.sistant is already in the top .001 percent of power within the city.

"Hahaha Mr. Xing is too polite. I'll put in a good word for you," the a.s.sistant replied but this sort of greeting is useless as it all just pleasantry. If being nice gets you what you want then what is the point of power.

Jun just gave a false smile on the side as no one was really paying attention to him.

After a while they got some accommodations and relaxed for a bit as Jun didn't want to waste too much time and sat down to cultivate his soul.

The meeting began after a few minutes but Jun and his dad wasn't called until last which took around 2 hours. If it wasn't because of his dad he would have left a long time ago.

"Tian corp! Follow me." Another a.s.sistant shouted but his cultivation was in the King's realm a realm below Heaven.

They both got up and walked into the room. In the seat sat a beard male in his late 40s. He had sharp green eyes and a slicked back hair.

Xing Tian did a slight bow and used both hands to try and greet him but the man sat in his chair calmly and coldly.

Jun felt a flash of anger as this was a slap right to their face.

"Have seat," he commanded.

Xing Tian didn't take it to heart and sat down.

"Why should we pick your company to refine our ore?" He said coldly skipping the pleasantry.

"President Xuan as you know there are 12 companies in this city and within the 100 mile radius that can do ore refinement. If we are to list it from best to worse than Fall Moon Corp would be at the top with only 10 to 20 percent of energy wasted during the refinement process and as the list goes on it gets worse. Not only that but the purity from the best company is only around 70 percent."

"Skip the useless chatter and get straight to the point."


"Here is it then. My company reduce the energy waste down to 10 percent with a margin of error being 2 percent. Not only that but we can guarantee a 80 percent purity rate. We ask for only 30 percent of profit. I think it is well worth it for us to work together."

Jun began to do some mental calculations in his head. He himself is no stranger to Qi crystals as he had use them in his cultivation before even studied it for a couple days. Except he quickly forgot about it since it was a mundane task to do and had absolutely no excitement to it like alchemy where he would discover new combinations.

Qi ores are worth 1 to 2 thousand qi stones based on quality before refinement. A qi crystal on the other hand with 40 percent purity is worth 10 times that about. 10 to 20 thousand. After that every 10 percent additional purity increase the price by 4 times. The higher it goes the price multiplication decreases.

50% = 40,000 to 80,0000

60% =160,000 to 220,000

70%=700,000 to 900,0000

80%=1.3 million to 1.5million.

90%=3 million to 4 million

100%= 10 million.

This is because the purer the crystal the faster and easier the absorbing rate for cultivators are. For example qi stones are used as currency because the energy inside can be absorbed but the purity is so trash that a low tier cultivators would take hours to refine. While a 100% qi crystal takes only 10 seconds for them. This also depends on cultivation realm of course as the lower the lower the less energy they need. This especially the case when you are in battle and need to refill your qi extremely quick without fearing the hidden dangers.

Jun began to do mental math. 10% less waste = 10% more production. Meaning for Fallen Moon Corp 100 equals 70. For Tian corp 100 = 80. Mathematically it is about a 15 percent increase in production. If you wanna get technical it is 14.3 percent.

From 70% to 80% purity it is a 600,000 increase. If we do a base line of 800,000 for 70% and 1.4million for 80% then this deal would be a steal for this company if they give 30% to us.

For Fallen Moon Inc the math equals this 100*.7=70*800,000=56,000,000*.7 for mining inc=39,200,000

For Tian Inc the math equals this 100*.8=80*1,400,000=112,000,000*.7 for mining inc=78,4000,000.

If they partner with us they would choose to make double the amount. I am sure my dad has thought of this, Jun thought.

"Why should I believe that your company can do as you say?" President Xuan said coldly.

"Of course I wouldn't easily come here say things without proof," Xing Tian said smiling like he wasn't affected. "Bring in my Crystal Refinement master."

An elderly man steps through the door a couple minutes later. It was elder Fang Ning someone who Jun admired a bit for his hardworking tendency. It gets annoying sometimes but that was who taught Jun how to refine ores for a couple days before Jun grew tired of it.

"This is Elder Ning the head of my refinement division."

"Elder Ning please show him your ore refinement," Tian said warmly.

"Yes Patriarch. Cann you guys bring me some ores for me to refine? This way we are not accused of any tricks." Elderly Ning directly said. He didn't not mince words at all. This was another reason why Jun admired him a bit and considered him like a grandpa almost.

President Xuan beckons his a.s.sistant to go get the ores. "This will be considered the Mining Corps possession and even if you do refined what you said I will not be giving you anything for it."

Greedy b.a.s.t.a.r.d, Jun cursed mentally.

Elder Ning and Xing Tian didn't really care since this was a showmanship and for President Xuan to say all that they are already mentally thinking about s.c.r.e.w.i.n.g him over.

Elder Ning rolled his eyes at the greediness of this president. If this guy wasn't the biggest ore mining company around then they wouldn't even bother being here. The other ore mining companies are way too small and the orders they bring in can't satisfied the refinement division's expenses. Such as research and development, pay and other miscellaneous things.

Elder Ning's hand began to move at lining speed forming seal after seal. He then injects them into the ores themselves.

The formation are placed at critical junctions in the ore which is the place which absorbs qi the fastest. Once it is placed there the other formations are used to channel that out. This all sounds extremely simple but without a fine control of qi and formation knowledge it is all extremely useless.

After 10 minutes it was all done and with the Heaven and Earth soul eyes combine with his excellent memory Jun can replicate that whole process.

In Elder Ning's wrinkly hands was a pink stone glowing warmly under the light.

Those with astute eyes could instantly tell that it was 80% purity.

"Give it here. I'll test it out right now," President Xuan said emotionlessly but under Jun's eyes he saw every muscle twitch, and could even see the change in energy fluctuation. It was subtle but Jun caught. Before Ning could hand it over Jun reached out and grabbed it out of his hand like a professional thief who had years of practicing s.n.a.t.c.hing a penny from a boiling pot of water.(This is a real method of training thieves in China -_-)

The temperature in the room instantly dropped to absolute zero as every turned their head at Jun.

"Little boy what are you doing?" The Heaven realm a.s.sistant growled angrily. His heaven realm qi surging into the air getting ready to slaughter Jun. Jun felt like mortal standing before a 1000 feet tsunami.
