A Hero's Multiverse 17 Chapter 16: Arrivel On Nidavellir

As Tonja slowly awakens from her pain-induced coma, she at first only hears some male m.u.f.fled voices and one very clear childlike one. As she opens her eyes, she at first is a bit irritated, because her field of vision is somehow tampered with. Wanting to rub her left eye with her right arm, she realizes, that not only is her most of her right arm gone, so does her left eye. Feeling weak and helpless, there is only one thing that keeps her sane, that being the whispering childlike voice in her head.

(???) ''Please don't hate 'Little Black'... Everything is a little Blacks fault... Please don't hate 'Little Black'.''

Closing her eyes, Tona asks herself. -I am not insane... I am not insane... there is no voice.-

(Little Black) ''Please big sister don't deny 'Little Black' did bad, as it was still All-Black, but please big sister don't let that evil man hurt us again...''

-Who are you?- Asks Tonja herself, this time wanting to communicate with the voice of 'Little Black'.

(Little Black) ''Little black before bonding to big sis, was All-Black, a symbiotic sword manifested from the living abyss by Knull to kill G.o.ds. All-Black was bad, always responding to intense negative emotions, often corrupting its host into committing divine atrocities. Big Sis has to believe Little Black! Little Black is not All-Black!''

Thinking about what the voice tells her Tonja mentally asks it. -Since you are a symbiote can you heal me? Big Sis would love to be the whole again.-

(Little Black) ''Big Sis has to believe Little Black! Little Black tried everything, but Little Black is unable to regrow Big Sisters limbs...''

-What abilities can you offer me?-

(Little Black) ''... Little Black hast most of All-Blacks abilities like augmenting his host's Strength, Durability, Speed, Reflexes. Little Black also can grant it's host Longevity as well as Energy- and Matter- Manipulation... Contrary to All-Black, Little black is unable to manifest itself outside of the big sister's body and become a weapon since it is not as strong as All-Black... Please don't hate Little Black!''

While Tonja is having her talk with the symbiote inside of her, Ethen is similarly occupied by his rings avatar an interface. In the beginning, it was relatively easy for him to call up the main function of the ring that mainly being storage, but as he did further into its programming, he finds various types of other functions.

Totally mesmerized by the ring, he doesn't even realize Deadpool talking to him. ''Ethen? Eevee then? Might as well be talking to a wall...'' Grumbles Wade, deciding to start looking for a suitable Nidavellir commenting.''... Might as well start searching a pre-Thanos rampaging it after having the dwarfs craft the Infinity Gauntlet- Nidavellir!''

As Deadpool starts to search for a fitting version of the dwarfen homeworld, Ethen discovers a submenu deeply hidden in the files coding.

-Silver what is this?- Asks Ethen the rings avatar, whom he has decided to call Silver since it somehow fitted the cold and stoic female voice.

(Silver) ''This is the interface listing unlocked locked functions.''

Thinking about it, Ethen has a more pressing question that the rings hidden features. -Silver you said that I being a White Lantern was inaccurate... Why is that?-

(Silver) ''User is not a 'White Lanter' because User Jo-L Prince is 'Champion'.''

-I see this line of questioning leads to nothing...- Thinks Ethen, as he suddenly hears a certain nearly forgotten skull suddenly starts shouting. ''Eureka! I've got it... Hahaha... Finally a bunch of dwarfs I can relate to... Muhahaha!''

''What is going on?'' Say Ethen and the now fully awake Tonja simultaneously.

Seeing the crippled Tonja finally conscious again, Ethen feels some kind of regret and guilt wail up inside of him. Helping her to sit upright, he asks. ''You are awake. How are you feeling?''

Smiling despite still being in immense pain, Tonja tells him. ''Thank you and I think I feel as I look, maybe worse.''

Seeing Tonja's destroyed beauty, Deadpool shudders saying.''Puh girl! Looking like this your solo movie will definitely not be green light by Disney... Woa you look so haunting, girl!''

''Shut up skull! Look who is talking!...'' Tells Ethen to Deadpool, before turning to Tonja saying. ''... You still look beautiful!''

''Beautiful like dead body after a car crash!...'' Comments Wade, while doing his best to make a puking gesture that instead of having people fuming in anger lets them laugh out loud since it looks hilarious. Seeing both Ethen and Tonja laugh about him, the skull announces. ''... Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you Nidavellir!''

That said the Multiverse Gate once again opens, showing of the busy dwarfen Furnaces of Nidavellir, where three hundred male dwarfs life, work, eat, sleep and die. Seeing one especially tall dwarf, Deadpool begins to hum a tune. ''Peter d.i.n.klage, Peter d.i.n.klage, Peter d.i.n.klage...''

Ignoring the skulls annoying voice, for now, Ethen decides to handle Tonja similar like he did Wade. Taking some vines from the ceiling, he creates a harness for he wit that he can carry her on his back.

Taking also Deadpool from the altar, Ethen walks out of the temple and into the Furnaces of Nidavellir. The moment they step out of the temple they are immediately seen by nearly every dwarf. Before either Tonja or Ethen can say anything, Deadpool declares. ''We are here to do business with the dwarfs of Nidavellir.''

''Bussines you say?...'' Ask the tallest dwarf, looking intently at Ethen, who is still carrying Tonja on his back and the skull on his front. ''... I hope you guys have something on worth for us dwarfs!''

''Oh, I am sure we can come to some kind of agreement!'' Declares Wade proudly.

Hours go by that Ethen and Tonja spending simply talking about Armor designs and life in general. So an hour later they are still sitting in front of King Eitri's office, while Wade is negotiating with Eitri. Having feared that it wouldn't be that easy to get the dwarfs cooperation since now they now not only needed them to make Ethen's Armor but also to make prosthetic limbs and a new Iron Maiden Armor for Tonja.

As they are mindlessly sitting in front of the king's office the two of them are attracting the attention of two very young and curious dwarfs, Ethri's nephews Brokk and Sindri. Seeing Tonja's cruelly destroyed beauty, Sindri can't keep his distance from her and says. ''Dios Mio what happened to you?''

Noticing the dwarf clad in golden armor, that is much smaller than Eitri, Tonja is happy to talk to a fresh face. ''That was all because of him...'' She says, pointing at Ethen.

''How could you!...'' Sindri shouts accusingly at Ethen, before turning to Tonja and telling her gently. '' It sure is his grace to beauty to violate a beauty such as yours. Might I know your name, my fair lady?''

''It wasn't his fault!...'' Declares Tonja. ''... I was infected by a sinister symbiote and he had to do it. My name is Antonja Stark, Tonja to my friends by the way.''

''I would love to be friends with a beauty such as yourself...'' Sindri tells her, seeing his brother Brooks disapproving sneer. ''... I would like to offer my help and restore your beauty? As I wish to earn myself the privilege to call you 'Tonja' my lady?''

Before Tonja can answer the dwarf, Ethen already tells him. ''We are already negotiating with your king about getting your kids to help.''

''If you call drinking beer and singing negotiating, then I like your art of diplomacy...'' States a blue dwarf looking somewhat similar in height as Sindri, before showing off a huge smile half laughing. ''... Call me diplomat Brook then! Hahaha!''

''Wait for what?'' Asks Tonja half shocked before Ethen asks. ''How do you know?''

Pointing in the direction of the office door, Tonja and Ethen now hear drunken sinning and talking coming from inside the office. Having Sindri push the ma.s.sive door open, they find the dwarven king, as well as Deadpool, singing and drinking.

''Peter d.i.n.klage, Peter d.i.n.klage, Peter d.i.n.klage, Peter d.i.n.klage, Peter d.i.n.klage,...''
