Hayley's mind was in mess for last two days, although she looks just fine from outside but her heart and mind was in mess. Two days ago she met Rachel and she discovers something, the man Rachel was talking about was none other than Aaron. When Rachel revealed the name of the man she loves Hayley didn't know how to react. Pain she was feeling inside was nothing like you feel when you get to know that your friend was also crushing on someone on whom you were also crushing. It was like the pain which you feel when you were denied from your first love. At that point Hayley came to know that she was not just crushing over Aaron, she was in love with him. Hayley didn't get much what Rachel was saying after the revelation of Aaron's name.

When she reached her apartment that day she didn't know how she reached there she just want to lie down and go back to sleep. That was then a text message from Aaron came, Hayley wanted to reply but she didn't have energy to talk to him, she was just way too exhausted. She was so exhausted that she denied dinner invitation from Scott's and she ignored Caleb's frequent requests to come with him to river side to watch fireworks. Sometime Hayley wanted to slap herself hard to wake her up from this dream, she needs to pull herself together. What if Rachel is back for Aaron, it was between two of them it has nothing to do with her. As far as her feelings was concerned she would deal with them on her own and she will make sure her feelings won't cause any problem for her or anybody else.

Even after deciding course of her action Hayley's mind and heart was not at peace, so she tried to submerge herself in work. This time luck was on her side and because of that new deal there was lot of work for her to complete in office.

It had been two weeks since anyone saw or met Hayley, every time anyone of them wants her to join them for outing or dinner or something she gave them excuse that she just had too much work. At first this bunch of friends believed her because Keith was also so busy but after a week he was going out with them for outings and dinner but as usual Hayley refuse. Although she reply to their messages but her reply was rather felt half-hearted and now she didn't get much involved in group chats. Aaron was the first one to notice it and then Caleb also felt that something was wrong but neither of them know what was wrong?

Hayley was not lying to them she just didn't felt like going anywhere so she took most of the work meant for whole team just on herself. She was first one in office and last one out, she was turning into a work machine. That day as usual she was the last one out from the office and found Caleb there waiting for her. When she looked at him she just smiles and after seeing that smile on her Caleb's heart broke because he could see how exhausted she was that her smile was not reaching till her eyes as it usually did in the past. 'What happened to her?' Caleb thought. He was leaning against his car but when he saw Hayley walking towards him he straightened up and he pulled open door of pa.s.senger seat and said "Hii there! Get in we need to be somewhere" Caleb said.
