Hayley was not the only one who was hurt by this behavior of Aaron's, Ginny was confused by this sudden change in behavior of Aaron's. Everyone could see how badly Aaron was behaving with Hayley but n.o.body could knew that how much it hurt Aaron to be this cruel to Hayley. Ginny could see all of it but the thing she could not understand was why Aaron behaving like this, something completely opposite to his basic nature. Aaron was always a mild behaving, sweet guy, who never spoke in higher tone with anyone let alone behaving this rudely to someone he knew, someone he knew matter a lot to his friend Keith. Ginny was confused but she thought Aaron might sort it out because she always thought that he was way mature than anyone of them but now she thinks that he had taken things too far and if she didn't ask him what is happening now, Keith might ask him and Keith might not be as polite and understanding as her to him. Keith had seen Aaron's behavior towards Hayley when they were out for shopping, Keith wanted to have a word with Aaron at that moment but Ginny restrained him by saying that he couldn't be biased in this matter and blame only Aaron or blame only Hayley, they need to know the truth first before interfering. So that was why right now Ginny was sitting in the New Rose Café waiting for Aaron to come. This was a special place for all of them because this was where she used to work in her college days and they all use to hangout here, they spent lot of their time here sometime chatting or sometime plotting against the problem of their lives.

"h.e.l.lo, there" Aaron greeted her while taking a seat in front of her, taking her out form her revive. Aaron gave her a smile that could melt any iceberg in the world and there was time when this smile of his gave her a hope that world is a better place to live but right now she felt like she could wipe that smile from his face with a slap. One look at Ginny's face and Aaron knew that something was wrong and he could say what was wrong but he didn't have the courage to say it out loud so he kept mum after greeting Ginny. " what is going on Aaron?" Ginny asked, breaking the silence between them. There was look in Aaron's eyes for a brief moment that Ginny could not understand, it was mixture of hurt and agony. " in what context are you asking me this about Ginny?" Aaron asked another question instead of answering Ginny's question. Ginny frowned she pinched the s.p.a.ce between her brows and then exhaled and asked again " why are you behaving so rudely with Hayley?" Aaron knew he need to answer this question sooner or later to Ginny but he didn't knew that she was going to ask him this question this sooner. He sighed and said " I don't know what are you talking about." Ginny threw up her hand in air and retorted back " you knows exactly what I am talking about, why are you being a jerk to her." Hearing Ginny's comment Aaron flinched but he couldn't able to say anything. " Aaron she likes you, even if you don't like her, you don't have to be this rude to her, you just have to tell her that you don't like her, she will surely understand." Ginny said. After hearing this Aaron gave her a sad smile that was all took Ginny to understand that the Hayley's feeling was not one sided. When the realization dawned upon her Ginny could only ask " why?"
