Archer~

Wandering inside the mansion, I stumbled upon a desk and found a picture.

I see unfamiliar face that caught my attention.

"Rin, who's this man with you in the picture?" I ask Rin about it.

"Ah, that's Uncle Kariya. He always visits us 10 years ago. He was a very close friend of my family. When my Father was not there, he came to play with us and my little sister.

However, it was changed after the events 10 years ago. After my sister gets adopted, Uncle Kariya didn't visit us again.

The last time I saw him is talking with Father. They argued over something I didn't know. That time, his looks like a different person. I couldn't even recognize him." she told me everything about that man.

"Do you have news on what happened?" I asked her

"No. He disappeared all of a sudden.

Before Mother died, she always talk about Uncle Kariya. And Uncle always there for us."

"So, he's more like a Father to you and your sister."

"Yeah, he was always there than father."

Morning at School...

Rin~

It's 8:00 late when I came to school. Archer got me company along the way.

Just when I arrive, I sense heavy aura. It looks like some Master are present in the school and already casted a spell to absorb everyone's mana.

However, due to Archer's inability to change into spirit form, he keep distance between us.

"The coat of Father, perfectly suit him by the way." I said to myself.

I gave him Father's coat for him to wear. The armored tunic he wears can caught much of attention and reveal himself as a Servant. So, I have to do it.

I entered the building and still the aura gets stronger. I just cannot tell them or my ident.i.ty as a Master will be exposed. All I need is to trace a magic seal. I need the help of Archer.

" Ohaiyoo, Rin Tohsaka."

Someone called my name however, I need to focus on finding the magic seal.

Archer might found the locations of magic seal by now.

"Archer, did you find it?"

"Yes, and there are many of it surrounding the school building."

As I heard of what Archer said, there's so much things I have to do.

I already at my cla.s.sroom sitting on my chair when Saegatsu caught me wondering.

"Ah, Rin-chan what are you thinking?"

"Nothing, Saegatsu."

No one should be involved by this.

Suddenly, the bell rang. The voice came out of the alarm.

"The cla.s.ses will end up early due to safety precautions. Students and School Staffs are advised to go home before 3 pm. All cla.s.ses after the said time will terminated."

What's going on? Does someone already alarmed the school for something bad will happen?

"Tohsaka, did you hear? Some students were missing and found dead yesterday inside the Campus?"

I am late. But still I have to find out who's behind this.

"Archer, what's the news? Have you seen anything?"

I speak to archer via telepathy. Servant from being summoned by Master, the connection were established by mana that have been used by summon. No one except only us could hear our conversation.

"The whole building is surrounded by magic seals. There are five magic seals planted surrounding the area and one at the rooftop."

As I expected. Ritual spell. The Black magic that used to drain mana of the victims to strengthen their magic circuits or their servant. That's a horrific method. There will be a huge casualty if I don't dispel it.

"Archer, could you find the Master casting the spell?"

(Archer) Zouken.

"Rin, I haven't found him."

I have to stop him.

Hours later...

Two guys found met at the hallway.

The purple haired guy stumbled across Shirou Emiya.

"Emiya, could you do me a favor?

Besides, you are good at fixing things, right?"

" I am not in a club anymore. I couldn't help you."

But Emiya declined that leads to Shinji loose his temper.

"You know what? I despised you so much. I despise you that I want to vomit.

All of them admired you. Even though you are not in a club anymore."

"That's not my problem Shinji. Besides, you have die hard fans everywhere. And you are pretty good than me in archery."

"I'm flattered. But why? Why I didn't feel proud, ha?

Ever since you quit Archery because of your injury. I thought, I get the big picture."

"Shinji, we were friends ever since kids. But I didn't thought you have an ill will towards me."

"I have no time for that. If you want to get along with me. Do what I want and keep out of my sight."

"To lessen your anger. Right, I will clean the Archery Dojo for you."

"That's what I like to hear from you. Being stupid as always.

Have a nice Evening for you. Emiya."

7pm at the Rooftop.

Rin~

"This should be the last of it."

After I dispelled the last seal, I heard someone.

"Good job, miss. You've saved many lives."

I looked up above the fence. And I saw a guy standing on the fence carrying a long spear.

He's a Servant.

I took my magic beads and about to throw at him.

"I won't do that If I were you."

"So, you're the one responsible of this?"

I asked him.

"Do I look like I could cast magic spell?"

The servant seems like a Lancer.

"Then it's your master's doing."

"Whatever it is, get ready for the battle missy."

Night at Tohsaka

"BoOoom!!!"

(Sound of Explosion was heard)

(Rin)"Why! Why! Why?!"

Coming from a bas.e.m.e.nt, a young lady Rin Tohsaka, rush her way up to the living room where sounds of explosion came from. When she arrived at the place, broken ceiling, destroyed roof, and shattered place all she found.

Sitting idly at the sofa, is a tall white-haired Guy with a masculine body wearing a red mantle and an open red skirt covering half of his semi-armored body.

(Rin)"What the heck did you do to my house?!"

Angered when, she saw the broken roof and the mess that Summoned Servant did.

"The roof is so frail. Sorry for destroying it."

Didn't mind the surroundings, She turned her attention towards the Servant.

"Why didn't you appear on Spirit form. You supposed to appear on the Summoning Circle."

The Servant stood up and took a step towards Rin.

"So, you are the girl that disturbed my long nap."

As he pinch Rin's chin, facing each other.

"And by the way, why am I being summoned? And who is this Young lady in front of me?"

Rin drag away the Servant's hand from her face and started speaking.

"My name is Rin Tohsaka. And I am the one who summoned you. My Saber."

The Servant returned from sitting at the Sofa where he previously appeared and took a gaze on Rin.

"Saber had Sword, right? I think, I am not that guy."

Rin looked at the clock on the house and remembered that it had malfunctioned before and it is an hour advance.

Disappointed by the events, realized that she failed to summon the Hero she wants.

"Oh c.r.a.p! Dad, why did you gave me this responsibility?!!"

Felt frustrated from failing, Rin took her posture back and resume talking.

(Rin) As I recall, I didn't have the prime catalyst to summon a Servant. The only Servant I could summon is a Saber when the time strikes at 12 midnight. But nevertheless, I still summoned a Servant.

"If you aren't Saber, then who are you?"

The Servant smirked, "Is that the first thing you say to me?"

"Seems I've been drawn by quite unusual little Master."

Rin steps towards the Servant.

"Just to make sure, you are my Servant right?"

—"And are you my Master? When I was summoned, you weren't present."

"You aren't a baby bird are you. I simply want to ask if you really my servant and no one else's. Master-Servant relationship should be clearly laid out."

The Servant gazes at Rin.

"I am in complete agreement in your opinion. However, where is the evidence that you are my Master?"

Rin shows her command Seal in her hand.

"Here. This is all the proof you need that I am your Master, right?"

The Servant look at Rin's hand and exclaimed.

"Oh Dear. Do you really mean that? It wasn't a meaningless token I wanted to see."

The Servant stood up.

"All I wanted to See is if you are worthy of being my Master. And I will not regret of giving my loyalty to you."

—"Excuse me. Am I not good enough to be your Master.

The Servant took a step towards Rin.

"I am utterly dissatisfied. But I do acknowledge you as my Master. But, in war to come I will disregard anything you say. I will decide all battle policy. I trust that you have no objections in that."

(Rin) Such arrogance! What kind of Servant is he?

"I see. You dare to acknowledge me, but you won't listen to my opinion. Why is that? You're my Servant, aren't you?"

The Heroic Spirit returned sitting.

"Yes, In form alone. So, I will obey you in form alone. But, when fighting, I will call my own shots."

Rin got annoyed by the arrogance of the Servant. She turned his back against Archer.

"Such Servant are you."

(Vertrag...Ein neuer Nagel...Ein neues Gozets...Ein neues Gozets... Ein neues Verbrechen!)

Present Night...

"Looks like your Servant is a bit of Coward."

The Enemy Servant said while noticing that Archer isn't present.

"Does he want you die?"

Rin observed the surroundings to find an escape route.

"Fence on all sides. There's only one way."

Not a kilometer away from school grounds, Archer was sighted aiming his bow towards the enemy Servant.

"Focus on running, Rin. I will distract him."

The Enemy Servant swayed his Spear as he about to strike Rin.

Rin chants a Spell to make her agile.

"Es ist grob... "

The Enemy Servant caught Rin in a battle but Rin dodged the attack.

"Es ist Klein...."

The Servant throw his Spear towards Rin.

"Vox gott Es Atlas!"

Rin chanted a spell again to grant her maximum speed. The Servant missed while Rin broke through the fences and jumped from the rooftop.

Archer fires an arrow before the Enemy. The arrow explodes before the enemy. Archer jumped down from the building and catches Rin from falling.

The Servant jumped down and faced Archer.

"Ah... So, you are the cowardly Servant of this little Missy, huh."

"Attacking from afar. That's your forte, right? Now. Show me your bow. I will just wait here when you strike."

Archer paused and never uttered a word as if like he is waiting a command from someone.

"Archer, you got no a.s.sistance on me from now on. Now, Show me what you've got!!"

The power surges came out from Archer's body.

"Trace On"

Two blades appeared from his hands as he quickly charged his way towards the enemy and fought him in close combat.

"What!"

Surprised from the events, Lancer barely blocks Archer's attack.

Even with his long Spear, against the short blades of Archer, he cannot overcome the quick blows of Archer. However, everytime the blades touches the spear, it's easily broke. Lancer hardly predict the Swift attack of Archer.

(Rin)"So this is a battle of the Servants... "

Projectiles blown and smashed. Two Servant's returned from their respective sides.

"Dual Blader, huh. A mere Bowman trying to be a swordsman?! You think you could won over me with the swords you got?!"

Lancer quickly attacks the defenseless Archer. Without the blades, he thought Archer can't escape his attack. Archer easily avoided Lancer's blow and counter him with a strong kick.

Lancer got blown on the ground. He stood up from the floor and tried to return his composure back.

"What really are you? Are you even an Archer? I never heard of a Bowman uses blades as his primary weapon. You even use Combat skills to fight me. Who really are you?!"

—"You. Somehow are easily identifiable. They said, only swiftest heroes chosen to be a Spearman. And you stand head-and-shoulders above them. There aren't even three spearmen of your skill in the world. And in a beast's agility, that leaves only one. Cu Chulain."

The Lancer swayed his Spear and about to use his signature move.

"You flatter me, Archer!"

Rin realized that the enemy is going to use his n.o.ble Phantasm.

"Now! Get ready as you will face my mightiest blow."

(Rin)"That ma.s.sive of mana. He's clearly about to use his n.o.ble Phantasm."

Archer draw his sword pointing towards Lancer.

"Come."

Taunting the Enemy to fight him.

"Gae---"

Sounds of footsteps were heard.

Lancer stopped a moment as he sense someone eyeing them.

"Who's There?!"

An hour ago... Inside the Dojo.

While everyone is not around, Shirou alone is cleaning the whole Dojo.

(Shirou) "That Shinji. Ever since Sakura came to our house, his ego has changed. I thought he treated me as a friend. But, when Kiritsugu died, everything around me has changed."

An hour later...

"Phew."

(Shirou) "I finished cleaning the Dojo."

Shirou sat down on the floor for awhile. He wears his shoes on and goes outside. On a vicinity, he heard an unusual sounds. He followed where the sound came from as he witnessed the battle between the two unidentified persons inside the school yard.

"What the?!"

As Lancer is about to use his n.o.ble Phantasm, Shirou steps back and ran away.

(Rin) "A student? Someone's still at this school building at this hour?"

(Archer) "So, it would seem. Rin. Stay here. I got to do something at this point.

—"What do you mean? I also need to know who's that guy."

Archer vanished and followed the trace of Shirou.

At the corner of the room, Shirou leaned his tired body only to be found out by Lancer. However, before he could kill Shirou, Archer blocked him.

"Go!!" Archer told Shirou to run.

Shirou Emiya successfully escaped from death. But, when he is about to step out of the Gate, Rin chants a spell on him.

"Altre Ex Memoire"

When Shirou got out of the school grounds, he couldn't remember what had happened.

"It's dark. I should return home. Anyway, how come I'm out of School ground already?"

Rin appeared on the shadows and called out Shirou.

"Emiya. Why're you still here. It's getting late."

—"Tohsaka?"

Meanwhile...

"Let's not involve innocent lives here. Have you forgotten you were once a hero?"

Lancer withdraw his attack.

"The kid already saw us. If it spread, the Mages will be hunted down. Better you silence him for good.

Anyway, I shall take my leave now."

The Enemy Servant vanished.

(Archer) "I should never let it happen again."

Outside the school ground...

"Tohsaka? Why are you still here?"

Tohsaka suddenly punched the head of Shirou lightly.

"You Idiot. Did you still let someone took over you. Think of yourself."

Shirou touched his head where Rin punched.

"Ouch. I never thought you cared for me, Tohsaka.

But, It is my will to do so. It doesn't involve somebody."

Shirou resume walking while Rin tagging him along.

"Are you happy?"

—"Why's that?"

"I never seen you smile ever since."

Shirou didn't answer Rin's question. He just continue walking until he realize Rin isn't with him any longer.

"I guess, she went to her house right now."

Not farther, Rin Tohsaka and Archer continue to look after him in the shadows until Shirou came to his house safely.

"I guess, It's time we leave this place, Lady Rin."

—"Right."

Rin and Archer sets off as they returned to the mansion.

Hiding in the tree shadows, an unknown presence of the Servant went after Shirou Emiya.
