A Warrior's Path 8 Chapter 8.Konoha!!

A metal colliding sound was heard and a shin.o.bi wearing the cloud village headband emerged out of the shadows.

Cloud shin.o.bi: Hoh, I didn't expect you to detect me. Doesn't make any difference though. Obediently get caught or i beat you like c.r.a.p and take you and your son away. while fighting i might not guarantee the life of your son though.

Akane: Keep your mind tactics to yourself. We both know you only need one of us alive, it doesn't matter if the other is dead or alive.

cloud shin.o.bi just smiled and disappeares from where he was standing and reached behind Akane and attacked towards Ryu.

Akane dodged the incoming attack and threw a kunai towards him. He easily dodged them but Akane threw Ryu lightly above her head and made a series of hand signs. He felt a faint danger come behind him, he stepped sideways but the kunai he dodged transformed into a series of paper bombs in the shape of a ball with splinters all around it. Before he could dodge he heard Akane's voice

" Wind style: Great breakthrough "

He was blasted along with the wind towards the paper bomb covered with splinters. A second later he was pierced by an unknown number of metal splinters and died.

Akane gently caught her baby and was turning to leave when she heard Ryu cry in her arms. She didn't understand why he was crying. in her battle with the cloud nin he didn't even make a sound.

While Akane was bewildered, Ryu was panicked because he could still sense someone spying on them. Ryu was someone who stood at the apex of a world in terms of combat arts and techniques. No-one can sneak upon him without him noticing.

Ryu said to navii: navii if mother fails to notice him and is in fatal danger, teleport us to the gates of Konoha with her unconcious.

navii: yes master. Also, master your father is having a tough fight with those cloud nin. He took out 2 chunin and a jounin but was injured in the process.

Ryu: is it life threatening? Will he be crippled?

navii: No.

Ryu: Then keep observing.

Ryu was vexed inside. He can't just teleport them to Konoha because that will cause suspicion. He will only use it as a last resort. If he had his former strength while he may not be a match in ninjutsu or genjutsu but if they get close to him, he have tons of ways to kill them.

Ryu stopped making sounds as he got his mother to stop her movements. Akane seeing Ryu calm down started moving. Just after she pa.s.sed a tree, her face paled as she saw a paper bomb where she landed.

She dodged immediately but still got a bit injured on her back. As she vigilant looked around she sensed an attack come from her blindside.she parried the attack with a kunai and jumped back.

She saw a man holding a standard cloud nin sword looking at her like a prey. Both stared at each other for a second before the man mad a series of hand signs

" Lightning style: Lightning blade "

He rushed to Akane who coated her kunai with wind chakra and parried a few attacks. After a few exchanges she was slowly disadvantaged. Moreover she was carrying Ryu and had an injury. The situation was looking grim.

' How long are going to take to capture a single woman carrying a child '

Just as she was about to attack a voice came from behind her. She was startled and tried to jump sideways but a strong kick landed on her gut. She flew back and hit a tree but she shielded Ryu from damage. She coughed a mouthful of blood and looked at the man in horror as she lost her strength.

From the shadows a man with white hair and a scar across his cheeks wearing the cloud headband came out.

He said: Knock her out and take them both back to the village. Raikage sama will be pleased to know that we captured two Uzumakis.

The other shin.o.bi acknowledged and was moving towards Akane. As Ryu was preparing to use the brand a strong fire attack came towards the cloud nine.

As Ryu watched, Hiro stood before him covered in blood. He had a b.l.o.o.d.y wound on his arms and chest. As he saw his wife in this state his anger reached its peak but as a seasoned shin.o.bi he knew it's vital to be calm in these situations.

Hiro: Akane take Ryu and go. Run as fast as you can. I won't be able to hold them down for much longer. Our fight should have been noticed by Konoha. They should arrive soon.

Akane looked at Hiro for a second before getting up. She was torn inside. She knew this will be the last time she will see him. Tears kept running down her face but she still obeyed him.

Ryu watched his mother suffer and his father's valiance. Then and there he decided ' f.u.c.k everything. navii transfer us this instant. Whoever tries to interrogate my parents on how they got there. I will kill them all.'

navii: yes master.

As he saw her turning around a smile hung on his face knowing that they will live. As he was about to attack both him and Akane felt a light covering them and they lost consciousness.

The tall and large Konoha gate. At its side were the eternal guards Izumo and Kotetsu who was bored to death.

Izuma: When will the war end?

Kotetsu: Who knows. Anyways our village is strong. We won't be defeated. We have Minato, The three Sannin, The hokage. Noth..

As he was going to continue a white light flashed before them and they were stunned at what they saw.

A man and a women with a child in their arms lay before them. They blanked out for a second and quickly went towards them. They knew these were Uzumakis from their hair colour. An ambu appeared out of nowhere and said

' Take them to the medic. I will inform the Hokage '.

After saying that he vanished in a puff of smoke.Izumo and Kotetsu looked at each other and quickly picked them up and went towards the village hospital.
