"I didn't have that kind of thought." Jiang Shu Hua promptly refuted. Although she wished Yun Rong could do them a favor, however, she didn't have the intention to exploit her. She really liked this young lady since the first time she laid eyes on her. She was also sincere when she recognized her as a G.o.ddaughter.

She once again nodded: "What you said is correct. It was me that was too anxious."

After persuading his mother, Lu He Nian released his breath. He didn't know why, since the moment he met Yun Rong, he had this feeling of wanting to protect her with all his might and not let her be even a bit injured.  

Altering his life fate was too dangerous, he didn't wish for the young lady to partic.i.p.ate in it.

Thinking up to here, Lu He Nian dodged his sight and recalled that youngster, Jiang Yan, also followed upstairs.  "I'm going up to see them." After saying this, he directly went towards the stairs.

"The housekeeper just finished baking biscuits, just in time, you  bring it up to Yun Rong and Yuan Yuan and tell them to have a taste." Jiang Shu Hua understood his intention and she recovered her usual expression.

In the study room upstairs. 

Once Gu Yuan Yuan entered Lu He Nian's study, she accurately faced one side of a wall and went straight ahead. Then with a crash, she pulled out the huge oil painting on the wall, exposing an entire wall of lego models. All these were pieced together by Lu He Nian since he was a child until adulthood.

Gu Yuan Yuan, this little friend, had coveted this for a long time. However, the normally amiable uncle, never consented and refused to compromise on this matter. He didn't even let her touch these models. This could be considered having found an opportunity.

"You don't say, I don't say, Yun Rong jie jie doesn't say, uncle won't know." Gu Yuan Yuan slowed down the movement of her extended small meaty hand. Yet she still refused to surrender, wishing to grab each and every model. She only wanted to touch them, absolutely wouldn't break them. 

She said to Yun Rong: "Yun Rong jiejie, you see, I like this one the most. Mama said uncle built this when he was five years old."

Yun Rong followed the direction Gu Yuan Yuan's finger was pointing at, in a corner where a one and a half meter tall model was placed. It was a completed lego model of a crane with only three colors, black, white and grey. The bird was standing on one foot, its wings extended, it's slender and tall neck stretched upwards as it looked up. It felt as if its sound could be heard, loud and clear. 

The entire Dan Qiu Mountain could hear, it was the world's most beautiful sound.

Yun Rong suddenly came out with this sentence and she was stunned. Subconsciously, she touched her stomach, she kept having the feeling of familiarity but she couldn't remember why. 

At the time when Yun Rong was still distracted, Jiang Yan unhappily pointed at Gu Yuan Yuan's head and spoke: "I've wanted to tell you since earlier, call what jiejie, you should call her "auntie", do you understand? Now she is your uncle's younger sister, cannot ignore seniority." 

Recalling how he was told to call her "auntie", Jiang Yan felt it was necessary to drag another person down with him.

"It's not "auntie", it's jiejie." Gu Yuan Yuan coldly snorted. She pulled Yun Rong's hand and spoke: "Yun Rong jiejie, isn't my uncle awesome for piecing all these lego together!"

Yun Rong just returned from her daze, although she didn't know what lego toys were, but putting all these small things together to make good-looking figures, indeed he was awesome. She didn't expect that Lu He Nian was also a dexterous human.

When she heard Gu Yuan Yuan's statement, she nodded her head wholeheartedly.

"Smelly Yuan Yuan!" Jian Yan saw that Gu Yuan Yuan wasn't duped and reached out to pinch her small cheek, provoking Yuan Yuan to puff out her cheeks like a little puffer fish. He then turned his head to carelessly asked Yun Rong: "Are you really a person from Xuanmen?"

Yun Rong nodded, but became nervous upon seeing that Jiang Yan had doubt in his eyes. Cannot see through me right? She raised her eyebrows and pretended to speak calmly: "Why? You don't believe?" 

"It's not that I don't believe." Jiang Yan scratched his head, "Don't all the people in Xuanmen look like immortals, white haired, floating, messy old men? But you are actually a young lady……."   

Yun Rong noticed Jiang Yan's face as he said "you are a young lady", as if she was a scammer, and couldn't help feeling more panic. How can he see through the fact that I am a scammer?

Yun Rong felt that she had to say something to prove that she was a "Xuanmen person". She looked at Jiang Yan seriously before saying: "Your face has an offensive love affair. Tonight, don't go out from 10 o'clock onwards, otherwise you will regret it for a lifetime."

Jiang Yan, who was grinning, was stunned and wanted to tell off this young lady. How could she just talk about whatever kind of offensive love affair. Wasn't it like those vendors on the pedestrian bridge who loved to tell about love affairs the most? When heard, it was definitely a scammer ah.

However, seeing Yun Rong's really clear eyes, Jiang Yan, who was about to ridicule her, felt embarra.s.sed. A peculiar feeling flashed in his heart and his lips rose in a laugh, exposing a row of white teeth. Imitating Gu Yuan Yuan's tone of speech, he said: "A really offensive love affair due to meeting Yun Rong young jie jie ah. Yun Rong young jie jie looks just like a flower."

Why does this person still not believe? If it wasn't due to wanting to prove herself, Yun Rong didn't have that leisurely mind to warn him. She took two steps forwards, and with her clear eyes looking straight at Jiang Yan, she spoke: "What I said is true." 

Jiang Yan had not replied and the door to the study was suddenly opened. Lu He Nian stood by the door while carrying a plate of biscuits. He looked indifferent, however, his eyes that were looking at him were cold.

Jiang Yan trembled from head to toe and promptly took two steps back. It was too late to retract the bragging smile on his face, together with fright, he looked as if his face had a cramp. 

"I see you are so idle that you lost your head. Tomorrow report to the office, OK." Lu He Nian entered the room and said coldly. Flirting with Yun Rong, he was tired of living, wasn't he!

Lu He Nian: Lady, please arrange, after a chapter, kill him off.

Lady: OK!

It's rare that we get an author's note. Please don't hate Jiang Yan, although he is an immature brat, he's a good child. Poor him haha, this old lady knows what's in store for him, he should really be a more obedient child? Btw just to let you know, Lime translated their adressing to YR as ‘aunt' but it sounded to rough for a ‘young lady' like her so I changed it to ‘auntie' since it's cuter.

I don't know how huge that oil panting was, but first I imagined a s.p.a.ce for the lego models thay was about the size of a normal TV (so big but not too big?), but then it mentioned the crane being over a meter and now in my imagination it's like in the spy films, a secret room behind the wall, tho all filled with lego figures instead of weapons ? Can Yuan Yuan even lift such a big painting?

And one last thing, you should pay attention bc since the very first chapters there is some foreshadowing here and there^^
