The doctor jumped to his feet: "The fetus is unstable. You should take it easy."

"Mr. Mu, I still strongly encourage you to abort. Otherwise, your life might be at risk." As he spoke, he helped Mu Yifan to steady himself.

However, the second when the doctor had touched Mu Yifan's arm, an electric current had run through his entire body. He grew numb and collapsed to the floor.

Zhan Beitian stood there, stunned.

He saw Mu Yifan's body emit a purple-red electric current at the doctor and shocked him until unconscious.

Not caring whether he was dead or alive, Mu Yifan continued to roll on the floor: "Hurts so much… dying…"

Zhan Beitian found Mu Yifan's car, stuffed him in the front pa.s.senger's seat, and sat in the driver's seat. He didn't automatically start the car. Instead, he turned his head towards the man who kept cursing while simultaneously rubbing his abdomen. All of a sudden, he let out a chuckle and then uncontrollably laughed out loud.

T/N: The t.i.tle of this chapter is 你給老子閉嘴 which roughly translates to “you shut your mouth for me”. MYF refers to himself as lao zi 老子, an arrogant masculine 3rd person noun for “me” in this context. For females, they call themselves lao niang 老娘. Strictly speaking, 老子 and 老娘 are reserved for the elderly such as parents, grandparents, etc. but they are informal, even crude, honorifics.
