Rewrite System 8 First Struggle 2

Before we could turn back a loud roar followed by screams, it doesn't seem to far from us but it came from deeper into the forest.

I was at a lost of what to do but Lucas already rush ahead. following him is Elia then Luna then the gla.s.ses girl, as she pa.s.ses me she gave me a side glance. I could only scratch my head before joining them.

It didn't take long before we found a small clearing, there another group of students were surrounded by wolves. The group were consisted of 2 boys and 3 girls, the boys are trying their best to hold the wolves back even though they're covered in wounds while two of the girls are supporting them. as for the last one, she's only cowering behind her friends while spouting unreasonable orders.

The other group also seemed to have noticed us as they let their guard down a little, using that moment one of the wolves charge at one of the guy with a shield and axe but before the wolf reached the guy it was flown away by Lucas, the others also went to act right away, Elia with his bow, Luna chanting spells, gla.s.ses tending the wounded.

Me on the other hand charged at the wolves, with my hardened body none of the wolves attack manage to harm me while I managed to kill two of them.

Seeing what I did enraged the remaining wolves as some of them left their previous targets to surround me. The situation then changed, each time I would attack I would be tackled by one of them making me guard against it instead and even then it still managed to chip my HP.

The fight drag on for 15 minutes and somehow in between Lucas join in the fray and are fighting with his back against mine. I blocked with my left hand as another wolf tried to bite me but it didn't went as how I want it. the bite pierced through my skin and pain rushed in, I cursed then quickly jab the side of the wolf's head making it let go but also tore the flesh from my hand.

I groaned and fell to my knees because of the pain as well as blood that is flooding like a fountain from my hand, it seems the artery is severed as I can't even feel it anymore. Seeing a chance another wolf head in for the kill but before it could bite my neck an arrow pierced the side of it's head.

"Lucas grab him and get away now!" Elea shouted from the side, Lucas then hauled me like a sack of potatoes and rush towards our friends. The wolves then got in gulf by flame that rise high above the tree line.

I stare in awe over the spectacle I momentarily forgot my pain but I was reminded painfully by a slap on my tored arm.

"Stop looking staring like an idiot, right now you should reflect on your actions and be glad you are still alive." The gla.s.ses girl said as light glow on her hand and my wound starts to heal. Magic is incredible I wonder if I can use it.
