Rewrite System 42 Golem, Puppet And Homunculie

These creatures of alchemy are not recommended for beginners for the cost of their production and maintenance are astonishingly high not to mention the skills needed for it at minimum must be that of an advance alchemist, the risk of failure are astronomical for a single misstep or adjustment in material will instantly result in the creature being malformed, unstable, and/or uncontrollable.

In case of failure, dispose of the subject immediately. In case of success, proceed with caution for the care of these are extremely delicate. The materials used to make the creature will also dictate how to care for it, for example a homunculie made of plant would first form a seedling after that all it need would be resource rich soil, an area with high mana density, and a lot of care from its creator(s). After 3 months the homunculie will fully grown and form a 'root heart', this will act as the core of the creature and without it the creature will wither and die. As a side note after the 3 months period is over the creature no longer need its previous condition to survive, it would only need a constant supply of mana. These plant based Homunculus are best used to guard a nature based environment for any plant their roots touch they can control as part of themselves. These plant based Homunculus generally have a lifespan around 1-3 years.

A more advanced Homunculus would require a core and a body installed previously before their development, these ones would grow and form their faux body depending on their core and the quality and type of the core will heavily affect the Homunculus permanent status.

These types would need a fix time of 6 months for it's core to adjust to the body and be able to supply it with life energy, the lifespan of these types heavily dependant on their core. For as long as their core still produce life energy they will continue to live but once their core ran out of essence it will stop producing life energy and the creature will die. Should a homunculus lose its faux body as long as it's core does not run out of essence the homunculus can be brought using sufficient materials, bringing them back will also add whatever changes should have happen in the span of time before they are brought back.

If something were to disturb the 6 months incubation process or brought the Homunculus out of it's incubator the link between the faux body and the core will collapse and the core will not be able to supply the body with life energy, killing the Homunculus. Something to take note off would be after the incubation period the Homunculus would need another 6 months before it could digest anything, so in this period it would be best to leave it in the incubator. In case of release or damage to the incubator it is suggested to feed the Homunculus with easy to digest food such as soup or porridge, an not so welcomed emergency alternative would be feeding it with mana directly but as it is in growing period this method might result in unwanted complications unless one to feed it mana directly along with nutrients, the best material to depict such item would be fresh blood.

Currently he is... Well, was reading the Alchemy comporium he obtain to search for information about homunculus until he is in this current situation.

When he woke up he was welcomed with the sight of a peacefully sleeping girl snuggling on top of him, the girl have a round face and perfectly propositioned facial features which would be really beautiful but for now it is just cute.

He pushed her down gently and cover her naked body with his school training armor and went to the desk to research information even with the distracting lingering scent of the girl, she smell nice, almost like daisies.

He managed to get over the information for golems and magic puppets before finding information about homunculus.

Golems are separated into three types, utility, raider, and guardian.

The utility golem is just as it said, it is made and equipped with tools for specific jobs, for example a farmer golem.

The raider golem are the blade, they are equipped and built to be nimble and deathly, they are commonly used for a.s.sa.s.sination or deal damage alongside guardian type golem.

The guardian golem are the shield, they are built and and equipped to be durable and strong like an immovable mountain, commonly used as protector of gates or convoys or used as the spear head to breach through enemy ranks.

As for magical puppets it is separated into two category and unlike golems they look like an actual person, one excel at IQ and battle the other excel at EQ and crafting.

The first one are called automatons, behind it's human exterior is a machine of death and destruction, they will follow orders to the letter and will remain operational until they ran out of energy. The draw back are that it is incapable of compa.s.sion and will slaughter even the innocent as long as it think they within the range of given order.

The second one are called innocent life, they are expert crafters, they can create anything they put their mind into, the only draw backs would be that these puppets are idiots and easily distracted, they are also incapable of hurting others and tend to be take the bullet for their master even when it is no where near dangerous.

Now, as for what situation he is in as he found the page about homunculus slender pinkish arms coiled and lock his upper body to his chair then he felt warm air and slight p.r.i.c.kle on the side of his neck.

Surprised by the sudden happening he checked the map only to see a blue dot directly behind him and nothing on the Homunculus previous position. Blue dots are supposedly close allies, green for friendly, yellow neutral, red for threats, orange for dangerous ent.i.ties, and purple for targets.

Slightly moving his eyes could allow him to see the arms and his scan results show an interesting change on the Homunculus.

It's status improve to be as much as his and the gravity of his blunder, what interest him however are the life energy. Currently his hp keep decreasing slowly and the thing's life energy are increasing at a quick rate.

Soon it finishes it's meal at the same time he is done reading about homunculus but the thing did not let him go, just loosened it's hold and lay it's head on his shoulder and sleep... Standing...

From his speculation this must be due to the core rejection and it's unable to produce it's own energy thus feed on him, he was planning to leave but from the looks of it he will be hold back here for another month. He could just leave the thing to die but it is kinda his fault the creature is in this condition so it's only logical that he takes responsibility for it.

But with the excess free time he doesn't know what to do, he doesn't want to wake the poor thing so he have to keep still so he start thinking about his goal. He never set one all this time he spent in the new world he just went anywhere life has taken him and the only place he have ended on his own volition is this dungeon, since he now have guides on the skills he have he doesn't really have to return to the people he knows but maybe he should just to pay the debt of grat.i.tude?

But after that what should he do? Explore the world for more knowledge? That's a bit boring. Check the guild and become adventurer? Bah that's too common already. What about opening his own shop? Plausible but he doesn't have the fund for it nor he have any good location in mind. Well he could just go out and just live, with his luck something unfortunate is bound to happen and he just have to decide then.
