Beast Mutation 25 Ch. 23 Training

"I will be training for a while." He said, looking at Lily. "Can Lily also w-watch your t-training?" Lily asked as she was curious about the training his brother was going to do.

"Okay, you can, but first show those clothes to mother and the come to the back of the house." Karol said that as he didn't have any problem showing his training to his little sister. "Okay, I will do that first." Lily said with enthusiasm.

After leaving Lily, he walked towards the back of the house. He first started with some warm-up exercises to help his body reach the peak during the training. He then picked up his sword and stood in front of a tree.

He started to extract mana from his compressed mana organ and begin to cover his sword with mana. The sword began to glow blue, and he hit the tree with the sword and hits the tree two times more.

With each hit, the blue glow of the sword was intensifying. Looking at the aftermath of the blow, there was a significant cut on the tree. Seeing that cut, Karol smiled.

"That was amazing, big brother." Karol suddenly heard a sound, and he turned around to see, Lily looks at him with admiring eyes. "You finished showing your clothes pretty fast." Karol said with a smile.

Hearing that, Lily suddenly froze, but regains her calm and said, "Lily has already asked mother to see brother's practice." Hearing that, Karol just shakes his head with a smile as he knew that she wanted to see his training.

"Sit over there so you can watch the training without getting injured." Karol said, pointing at least 20m away from that tree. Hearing that, Lily nodded her and sat in that place.

Karol once again covered his sword with mana and executed the skill once again. After the hit, there was an even bigger cut on that tree. "Brother, what is that skill?" Lily asked with a curious gaze.

"The skill is called Triple slash, and the way it works is...." Karol said that and started to explain the working of the skill. After all the explanation about the skill, Lily didn't understand anything as the topic was very complicated for her.

"So, it is a very powerful slash." Lily said that after the explanation. Hearing that, Karol just laughed slowly and said, "Yeah, you can also say that."

"But brother, why didn't that tree fall after those attacks?" Lily asked with confusion. "It is because of the mana." Karol replied. Hearing that, Lily got even more confused as to what mana has to do with this.

"Okay, let me explain, you know that right that everything in this world has mana." Karol asked, looking at Lily. Lily just nodded her head as it is a piece of common knowledge, "That's why just like how we humans use mana to strengthen ourselves, other living organisms also do that same." Karol said, looking at Lily.

Hearing that, Lily finally understands why didn't that tree fall. "So, Trees also use mana to strengthen themselves?" Lily asked for her brother's confirmation. "Yes, that's right." Karol said that with a smile.

"Can you also teach more about this world?" Lily asked with enthusiasm as she wanted to learn more about this world. "I can't teach you right now, but why don't you learn from mom then." Karol said as he wanted to train, and it will also increase the mother and daughter time together.

"Okay." Lily said with excitement and ran inside the house. "Okay, now, let's focus on the training." Karol thought that and started to practice the skill, and when his mana runs out, he practiced his swordsmanship.

After four hours,

Karol was laying on the gra.s.s as he was dead tired, but he had a smile on his face because of two things, first was because of the tree that was laying in front of him and second and most important one was that he improved his skill.

Before, when the skill was using his 25% of his mana, but after the training, it takes now only 23% of his mana. He gets up from that spot and goes inside the room.

First, he goes towards his mother's room and opening the door; he saw his mother sleeping on the bed with Lily sleeping next to her. He smiled, seeing that scene, but suddenly his stomach grumbled.

He slowly closed the door and walk towards the kitchen to eat some food. After eating his food, he walked towards his room and fall asleep just as he lay down on his bed.

Sunlight shined in the face of Karol. Feeling the light on his face, Karol wakes up and walks out of the room. After exiting the room, he saw Aunty Joana and Lily in the kitchen cooking breakfast.

"Good morning Aunty Joana and Lily." Karol said with a smile. "Good morning to you too, you should sit down at breakfast is almost ready." Joana said that and started to serve food for Karol and Lily on the table and two plates of food for her and Karen.

After sitting down at the table, both of them started to eat breakfast. "Brother, wanna know what I had learned from mom yesterday?" Lily said with excitement. "Sure, tell as I am inquisitive to know." Karol said with a smile.

"But first promise me that you will give me some candy." Lily said with a smile. Hearing that, Karol was surprised and asked, "Where did you learn this from?" but he partially knows the answer to that question.

"Mom, teach me to do that when someone asks you for something." Lily said with ignorance. Hearing that, Karol just smile and said, "Sure, I will give you some, but tell me what you learned yesterday?".

Hearing that Lily started to narrate what their mother taught her yesterday.
