Beast Mutation 21 Ch. 19 Slave Contrac

The bloodline is a factor that is still unknown to the people because it is decided randomly by nature as what your bloodline is going to be, that means even if someone is the son/daughter of most powerful person in this world, even then it does not guarantee them an excellent bloodline.

From what has been researched, the bloodline of the person is directly decided by nature at their birth, and it is fully unlocked at the age of 14. But there are some rare cases when nature does not give them any level of bloodline, and that state is called Bloodline Deficiency.

In this state, a person can not age over 14, and the moment they age over that, they die an unnatural death on their fourteen birthday. That is, she is being sold at such a low price as she is not worth it. There are also vast cases of death of that child at their birth by their parents.

"Where did you get her." Karol asked as he did not understand how is she even alive. "Well, you could say that she was born with some great luck as her parents decided to raise her even though knowing her future but.." The man said with a smile.

"But what?" Karol asked with curious eyes. "Well, she lost all her luck when a monster horde happened to her village, but surprisingly, she survived that, and I found her in that village when I was traveling there." The man said, lost in his thought.

Hearing that Karol looked at the girl with sad eyes. "So, wanna buy her or not." The man said in a hurried tone. "You don't have any emotions, huh! But tell me first what her age is."

"Will the people in this line of jobs lost their emotions long ago, and yeah, her age is 10, so wanna buy her not." The man said, looking at Karol with a small smile. Karol thought for a while and said, "Well, I will buy her." Karol said, looking at the man.

Even though Karol did not think of himself as a saint that will protect everyone, but the reason why he decided to buy her also though her condition was in like that because she can still live for four years so that it will be not any loss. Secondly, he wanted to help her live a better life as he can't ignore her after seeing her in this condition.

"Sure, sir, but first, you have to form the slave contract with her." The man said with a happy gaze. "Huh, what is this slave contract." Karol said with a confused gaze as he thought he just has to buy the slave.

"Well, it looks like you don't know everything, huh." The man said in a sarcastic tone. "Yeah, so what? I am not interested in those things." Karol said with some anger. "Okay! Okay! Don't get angry, I will tell you." The man said with a smile.

"Say it." Karol said, looking at the man. The reason why Karol suddenly reacted like that because he hates it when someone comments about his knowledge as he loves reading books, so he has some pride in that. This is also the reason he was able to complete the formation, the exercise, and the skill a little faster.

"Well, we can't give you the slave as she can escape or hurt you." The man said, looking at Karol to see if he understands his meaning. "You are right, so that's where the slave contract comes." Karol said with some realization.

"What you are thinking is right as it bounds your slave so it can't escape or hurt you." The man said, impressed by his knowledge. "So, how is it done." Karol said, looking curiously at the man forgetting his anger as he loves learning something new.

"Well, wait here, I will come back with the required tools, until then why don't you talk with your new going to be a slave." The man said that and left the bas.e.m.e.nt. Karol looks at the man disappearing back then at the girl.

"So, what is your name, kid?" Karol said, looking at the slave. The girl looks at Karol curiously and then shakes her head hearing that question. "What, you don't want to tell me then, okay." Karol said, shrugging his shoulder as he was not that interested in her name anyway.

Hearing that, the girl once again shakes her head. "Huh, what are you trying to say?" Karol asked, looking at the girl, not understanding her body language. "I don't have any n-n-name as I have f-f-forgotten my m-my-memories." The girl said in a small voice while stuttering.

Hearing that, Karol was surprised as he didn't expect her to lose her memories. Then suddenly he heard some footsteps and turned around to see that the man was coming with a collar in his hands.

"So, how was your first conversation with your slave." The man asked, looking at Karol curiously. "Nothing extraordinary, but you didn't tell me, she had lost her memories." Karol said, looking at the man with a smile.

Hearing that the man tensed a bit, but calmed himself, "Don't worry, she has only lost her memories about her life, but not about the language or common sense of this world." The man said with a calm tone.

Hearing that Karol smiled as he knew that the price of a slave decreased if they have lost their memories," Don't try to play smart as I have read the books about the slave before coming here." Karol said with a smile, remembering about how it was an intelligent choice to read about the slave before coming here, and if he didn't have read that, he would have probably been scammed.

"Well, aren't you are a smart kid, Okay, I can decrease the price of twenty silver." The man said, looking at Karol and hearing that Karol just nodded his head with a smile.
