"I had to protect you." Xander said, and I looked up to meet his eyes.

Xander carried me into his room, and set me down on his bed before pressing his lips to mine, and my wolf Clarice had never been so alive. Her howling was so loud I was almost afraid Xander could hear her. The kiss was long and pationate, and I swear to G.o.d I missed him so much. When he finally pulled away so we could catch our breaths, my question slipped out of my mouth faster than I thought I could comprehend.

"Why didn't you tell me baby... I could've gone with you and just stay sheltered." I said, my pout coming in a little to strong for my own persnal liking.

"It was all in time. I had to make sure you would be safe when I told you." He reponded, and I leaned my forehead to his chest.

"No more secrets... No more pushing me away.... And no more leaving unless you take me with you"

I said as I looked up noticing that his eyes went dark.

"You're not coming with me where I go, unless you stay by my side and now where else."

We both finally agreed on terms, and our bond was back how it should be. I reached up, grabbing Xanders shirt, pulling him to me which shifted his attention on me, and only me.

"Let's do this right tonight. You owe me that much." I said with a smile on my lips, which caused him to smirk as his eyes filled with l.u.s.t. He then grabbed me, holding my body to his, pressing his lips to mine, as soft moans escaped my lips. I felt him drop me onto the bed and he started taking off his shirt then lay down on top of me reaching his hands up my tank top, removing it for me.

"G.o.d I've missed you..." was the last thing I said as he then proceeded to kiss my neck, then down my body, and a loud moan escaped my lips as his hands grazed upon a certain area.

I woke up and felt the sheets drapped over my small body, as Xanders arm was craddling me against his body.

"Baby.. Wake up.." I said and watched him slowly open his eyes then roll onto his back.

"Good morning my love." He said as he looked over at me with a tired smile, and I couldn't help but smile back and I felt my cheeks turn slightly red.

"I'm gonna go take a quick shower, then go for a run with Becca. If you want to join us, feel free to drag Alexi along too." I said with a smile on my face as I sat up and hopped off the comfort of Xanders bed.

"Yeah I'll probably tag along... Wherever you go, I want to be. Remember?" He said softly as he sat up in his bed, and I felt my cheeks turn red hot.

"Y-Yeah.." I said, before dissapearing into the shower. As I was washing my hair, I couldn't stop thinking about last night... So that's why he was so cold.... He never really wanted to act like such an a.s.s, he just had to for sake of my safety. But what about his safety. My mind was flooded with thoughts of bad things that could happen. I shook my head of those ideas and proceeded to clean myself off then wrapped a towel around me and walked out of the bathroom.

"Hey, I'm gonna go grab my clothes then I'll be back." I said before Xander stopped me and pointed over at the top of his dresser.

"Already grabbed you your clothes."

"Aww, thank you love." I said smiling up at him then turned around, picking up the clothes and walked back into the bathroom. I dried my body off and then put on my grey sportsbra, and picked up my underwear and my jaw literally, dropped.

"Xander!" I yelled out then laughed.

"I can't wear these when I'm running you dork!" I barked out once more and threw the lavender G-String at him which led him to chuckle.

"Fiiine, I'll go get you some regular pairs." He said as he walked out. A couple minutes later he came back and gave me regular underwear as I slipped it on then the leggings after. I then dried my hair and tied it back in a high ponytail, and slipped on my socks and sneakers.

"Ready to go?" I asked as I walked out of the bathroom.

"Mhm, Alexi said he'll tag along too." Responded Xander then I finally looked up from my phone and at Xander then fell on the floor.

"d.a.m.n babe! You good?" He asked as he curled over me, picking up my body and pulling it against his bare chest.

"I-I'm good, let's just get goin.." I said, trying not to deal with the embarrasment of having to say, 'd.a.m.n baby, nice body' or 'Noooo girls are gonna stare at you then I'll have to rip their heads off.' because that's coming on a little strong don't ya think? Anyways, I got up and took his hand while walking out the room, and down the hall to Beccas, and Alexi's room and walked right in.

"Let's go! I don't wanna wait all day G.o.d dammit." I said jokingly which as usual caused Becca to laugh and even Xander and Alexi let out a little laugh.

"Now boys, V and I have been doing this for a long time, so try and keep up ya slow pokes." Warned Becca condescendingly and I couldn't help but laugh with her as we looped our arms together and walked down stairs, out of the packhouse, both the boys following behind us.
