The Universe Conspired For Us To Meet 70 Love Story

Ronnie hugged Jayne who was now wearing only her lingerie, "I wish I could never let anyone see you at all."

He helped Jayne put on the gown. He now looked at Jayne and felt good. It was a long, full sleeved gown. So, she was covered her neck to her legs just revealing her face and fingers.

"Impressive!" Ronnie exclaimed.

Jayne, "....."

He caught Jayne by her hand and headed downstairs towards the party hall.

As soon as they entered, Mr Richard Roy announced, "Here they come, the special couple for tonight! Give it up for them!" The crowd erupted into a joyous applause.

Ronnie and Jayne were momentarily taken aback on what was happening. They simply smiled at the crowd and headed towards Mr and Mrs Roy.

Before Ronnie could ask what was happening, Mr. Richard Roy once again announced. "So the most awaited moment for tonight is finally here. My son is going to get engaged to the love of his life."

Jayne, "..."

Ronnie, "....."

A waiter brought in a tray with two small boxes containing two exquisitely carved couple rings. It didn't look like everything was happening all of a sudden. But everything was planned well before.

Ronnie whispered to his mom, "Mom, but we're already engaged." He frowned between smiles

Jayne too helplessly plastered a smile on her face.

"It's okay son. I know this is sudden. It's okay, propose to her formally now." Mrs Caroline Roy said to Ronnie.

Ronnie stepped aside took Jayne's hand and came forward. The lighting of the room suddenly changed. The spotlight was on Jayne and Ronnie while the rest of the room was dimly lit. A light romantic music began playing in the background.

Ronnie then took the bouquet of flowers, went on his knees and very formally looked into Jayne's eyes and proposed, " When I met you, I knew I'd met my match. It was only a matter of time until we arrived at this moment. Though our love story began on an unexpected  note, let's write our own happy ending. Will you marry me Jayne?" He said word to word without missing a beat.

Jayne took in the sight of the most handsome man before her.  She wept out of joy by the end of it. She happily nodded. That was the most ecstatic moment of her life. Though he had previously proposed to her in private, this time he did in front of so many people. She felt very touched by his soulful love for her and took the flowers and hugged it.

Ronnie then joyously stood up and pumped his fist  in the air and took the ring from the tray and slid it into her slender pearly white fingers and kissed it.

Next it was Jayne's turn to insert the ring.

Then the shimmery lights turned on. Ronnie saw his parents standing with his dad's arms around his mom. He could say that his parents were so happy that they were about to burst with joy.

Happiness was in the air. They ate, sang, danced, partied all night like there was no tomorrow.
