Sanvi immediately tried to pacify him. "Virat please try to control yourself. This is an elite function with dignitaries from all walks of life. We'll be kicked out if we continue to behave like this. Let's wait.

Virat clenched his fists.

Host Nick: "Our Chief guest madam isn't just gorgeous. I'm sure her melodious singing has captured everyone's hearts as well, especially the special person she sang this song for. Isn't it?"

Virat: "Needless to mention that. She's my love and  she sang this song especially for me.."

A fresh swell of rage rose in Sanvi on hearing Virat's words. She bit her lips so hard that it was about to bleed.

But she had to maintain her calm. She once again rubbed his arms, "Virat… have some control…" It was more like asking her to control herself before that.

The audience were shrieking and applauding.

The host Dimple continued, "By now, the entire audience knows her love for her husband Ronnie Roy sir."

Audience shrieked, cheered and applauded.

Virat felt like lightning came and struck his life all of a sudden, "What the h.e.l.l is happening here? Husband? Ronnie Roy?" Fury vibrated through his entire being to an extent that he was quivering with rage.

He was ready to walk on stage and ask for a meaningful explanation. Sanvi timely held him back and pulled him to their table.

"Don't stop me Sanvi….Let me go now!" Virat tried to free himself from her.

Even Sanvi felt she couldn't control Virat at the moment. Hence, she very slowly told him, "Virat! Since Maya's here and we've already found her, there is no need to create a fuss now. She isn't going anywhere. So, let's listen to the entire thing. Don't over-react!" Sanvi didn't know if she'd to control herself or Virat.

"Here have some water!" She handed him a gla.s.s of water which was on their table and then asked him to sit.

Meanwhile on the dias, Jayne was heavily blushing. She asked her husband to come up.

Ronnie happily walked up onto the dias and stood beside his wife wrapping his right arm around her shoulders lovingly.

Host Rick: "What a romantic couple! Their love for each other is so evident that, love is definitely in the air! Let's hear it for our lovely couple."

Virat and Sanvi were flabbergasted on seeing Ronnie Roy.

Sanvi was the first to speak, "Isn't he the same Ronnie Roy who was at our Convocation?"

Virat replied, "No wonder I had a strange feeling during our first encounter when he'd stopped to ask us the way to our Dean's office. Little did we know this was the case back then!" Virat tightened his grip on the gla.s.s he was holding. He channeled all his pent up fury to that gla.s.s such that the gla.s.s began to crack.

Sanvi's gaze accidentally landed on the gla.s.s. She stopped him before the gla.s.s would break into pieces and injure him.

"Virat, listen to me….this is not the time for rage or fury. We need to be more patient right now. What we need to find out is, how did our Maya become Mrs Jayne Roy and end up here in London as Ronnie Roy's wife out of nowhere? Only then we'll be able to fully decipher everything else. The only breather right now is, Maya is very much alive and she's in safe hands. We should be happy for that and carefully study the situation before we make a move." Sanvi tried her best to console him.

Virat felt Sanvi had a point. He mastered his anger and tried to remain calm.

Host Nick: "Sir and Madam, since you both are here already, please tell us your love story as well. You both look so great together.. how did you both first meet?"

The noise died down. Everybody were waiting to listen to their love story.

Sanvi and Virat were all ears now… they were most carefully listening now…

Jayne smiled before she began, "Ours is an unconventional love story. My husband found me when I was almost dying. If not for him, I'd not be standing here in front of you guys.. To sum up, my husband came like Prince Charming to save the damsel in distress." Jayne's eyes lit up like stars while she described it. She lovingly looked at Ronnie and wrapped her arms around his.

Virat: "So what if he saved you? Does that mean you've to marry him? How could you forget your love just because he saved you? We could have repaid his kindness in some other form Maya. You didn't have to marry him for that! Screw you Ronnie Roy! How could you take away my love from me!" His edge of irritation had returned.
