"Call me Adam!" Adam said.
"Okay Adam! I'll join you from tomorrow since I'm practising the solo performance today." Jayne informed him.
"Sure! You carry on!" Adam left and sat in the first row of seats with his other friends.
Ella and Emma Dalton who watched everything carefully informed every minute detail to Katherine Bradford.
Katherine Bradford's rage ran red through her brain. "Jayne Roy! You cheap woman! You think you can bewitch my guy with your cheap charms! This ain't working. I should take charge of this right away!" She yelled, her face turning very ugly.
-------
That evening Jayne returned to their Seaview mansion. Ronnie hadn't come home yet. So she decided to take a tour of the mansion since she'd never seen it fully since her arrival.
Jayne was now used to the aristocratic extravagance of Ronnie's mansions. She went through each room. One of the rooms contained an exquisite collection of paintings and handicrafts. Jayne momentarily got lost there. 'Wow Ronnie! You even have an art room. It's going to be very helpful for me in the near future. Let me come back here once my art cla.s.ses begin!' She thought to herself and walked towards the next room.
Little did she know that Ronnie had redone the rooms based on the information he'd learnt from Maya's diary and also what she'd be studying next at the University.
The next room looked like a dance studio with mirrors all over for Jayne to practise her dance sessions. Jayne started grinning from ear to ear on seeing such a beautiful dance studio for herself, "Yay! Thank you Ronnie! I love you so much!" She shouted and closed the door behind and walked towards the next room.
The next room was dark. Jayne opened the door and switched on the lights. She gasped on looking at the huge room. It looked like a concert hall. There was a dias with a microphone and all the musical instruments. Tables and chairs were arranged. There was also a fully loaded bar and an empty food counter at the end of the room.
The lighting dimly illuminated the hall while brightly illuminated the dias. She walked towards the dias. One instrument caught her eyes. She walked up to it and picked it up. It was the guitar. She sat on the high stool before the microphone. The spotlight shone right above her.
'Why does holding this guitar feel so familiar?' She wondered. She began playing a tune. 'Even the tune I'm playing right now seems so familiar!' She frowned.
Unknowingly she began singing along with the tune she was playing. It was an Indian language song. Yet, she sang along. The soulful music poured over the entire room. An unexpected happiness consumed her. This sudden feeling of happiness surprised Jayne herself.
Ronnie was standing at the entrance quietly watching his wife play the guitar and listen to her sing. Seeing the joy on Jayne's face, it rippled through him as well.
'What's happening with me? I'm singing and playing this guitar? Is it something which I learnt in my past life? So, dance and music haven't left me at all?' She was momentarily lost in her thoughts.
Just then she heard a loud applause from someone which brought her back. "Ah Ronnie, when did you come back? Did you watch me sing and play the guitar?" She frowned while burying her face in her hands.
Ronnie laughed. "I just came home when I heard a very loud sound from this room. Afraid I came here hurriedly to see you singing. Don't ever scare me like this Jayne!" He began pulling her leg.
"Ronnie!" She turned away from me.
"Darling, did you realise the magic you just created? You've such an honest, soulful voice which will leave the listeners hypnotised and wanting for more." He hugged her from behind.
Jayne's mouth curved upwards on listening to Ronnie. She turned around to look at Ronnie excitedly, "Really?"
"Accompanied by the soft, harmonious tune of the guitar, your voice sounded angelic Jayne! My wife is gifted with so many talents, I wonder with what will you surprise me next?" Ronnie kissed the tip of Jayne's nose and hugged her.
'Ah Maya, I was desperately waiting to see you sing and play the guitar. I don't have enough words to describe how happy I'm. Wish I could bury you inside me and never let you out my Maya!' He thought inwardly.
He pulled away from her, "Yes Jayne, before I forget, we haven't got our marriage registered yet. So, I need your signature. Come.." They walked towards the chairs and tables.
Ronnie pulled out a chair for Jayne to sit. He handed over the papers and a pen. Jayne was so elated by her husband's compliments that she didn't realise what she signed on the papers: "Maya Ronnie Roy."
