Chapter 136 Eighteen-Year-Old People Are Unreliable
Mu Ren and Ling Tianyi were both good at riding horses. Mu Ren had lived in urban areas, teaching Ling Tianyi how to ride a horse. However, being very talented, Ling Tianyi could ride as well as his master. What was more, he was much younger and stronger, so he was in the lead.
Seeing that they were enjoying themselves, Tala followed them out of excitement. Tana kept staying with her Little Aunt who didn’t know how to ride a horse, but she didn’t pay much attention to her safety.
Xia Xiaoluo was so excited that she forgot to protect herself.
Fortunately, being tame and tender, ‘Princess’ didn’t lose temper, or Xia Xiaoluo would definitely fell down.
Riding two excellent horses, they rode around the yurt almost at the same time and ran back quickly. Beyond imagination, Ling Tianyi was at least half a horse’s length ahead of Mu Ren.
“Darling, come on! Come on!” Xia Xiaoluo shouted with her hands beside her mouth.
Ling Tianyi could only see her, but he was not able to hear what she was shouting. He was worried when he saw Xia Xiaoluo sitting without holding the rein.
Ling Tianyi wanted to finish the race as soon as possible in order to punish his little wife. Being very anxious, Ling Tianyi urged his horse to run faster and he was almost a horse’s length ahead.
“Darling, you almost win! Come on and run faster!” Xia Xiaoluo kept cheering for him excitedly.
However, Tana was unhappy because she hoped that her grandpa could win the race. Thus she rushed out to cheer for Mu Ren as Tala, totally forgetting their Little Aunt.
Seeing that the twins were so unreliable, Ling Tianyi was more anxious. He thought that he would definitely fire them if they worked in his company.
Being anxious, Ling Tianyi ran faster and faster, which was better than his common performance. Finally, Ling Tianyi won the race.
Xia Xiaoluo acclaimed for him and dragged the horse mane out of excitement before Ling Tianyi arrived to punish her.
With a squeal, ‘Princess’ neighed and lifted the hoofs. With her hands free from the rein and feet free from the stirrups, Xia Xiaoluo fell down.
“Oh! It hurts badly!” Touching her hips, Xia Xiaoluo felt very painful.
Ling Tianyi got down from the horse at once to see Xia Xiaoluo. Although he was a little angry, he cared about his little wife very much.
Being very worried, Ling Tianyi helped her to stand up and asked: “Does it hurt? Are you injured?”
“Darling, it hurts badly! ‘Princess’ is not tame at all. She is totally a rude princess!” Touching her hips, Xia Xiaoluo was so upset that she kicked the horse’s a.s.s heavily.
‘Princess’ finally lost her temper, kicking Xia Xiaoluo over with her hind hoofs.
Despite being with Xia Xiaoluo, Ling Tianyi couldn’t protect her in time. Xia Xiaoluo lay there, being motionless.
“Xiaoluo!” Ling Tianyi was extremely anxious because she couldn’t move at all.
Knowing something serious happened, Mu Ren got off the horse at once to see Xia Xiaoluo. Seeing that Xia Xiaoluo looked pale and was in a bad condition, Mu Ren said: “Yi, it was serious. We must take her to the hospital.”
“How to go to the nearest hospital?” Ling Tianyi was worried about her very much. He told them to protect her well, but something bad happened.
“Tala, go to find Uncle Balang and tell him to drive to Mingzikou, waiting there. Tana, go to tell your grandma what happened.” Mu Ren told them what to do next.
“Yi, you two get on the horse and we will go to Mingzikou. Uncle Balang will take us to the hospital.” Mu Ren said anxiously.
Ling Tianyi and Xia Xiaoluo were his guests, so Mu Ren was more anxious when the accident happened. What was more, they were very distinguished guests.
They arrived at the People’s Hospital in the town in one hour with the help of Mu Ren. Ling Tianyi always took Xia Xiaoluo to private hospitals. It was the first time for him to go to a public hospital.
Ling Tianyi wanted to transfer to another hospital because the medical level was not good enough on the gra.s.sland. He planned to order a helicopter from A City to pick them up, but Mu Ren stopped him.
It was more suitable to treat Xia Xiaoluo on the gra.s.sland, because private hospitals in A City seldom had the patients who were injured by a horse even though the medical level was higher with better environment. However, this hospital was near the gra.s.sland, so the medical staff were very experienced about treating patients like Xia Xiaoluo.
Xia Xiaoluo was taken to the emergency room. Mu Ren and Ling Tianyi stayed outside.
“Yi, don’t worry. Xiaoluo is a lucky girl. Everything will be OK.” Mu Ren comforted Ling Tianyi because he knew that Ling Tianyi cared about her very much.
Ling Tianyi shook his head helplessly. He wanted to protect her, but she always got hurt. He didn’t remember how many times she has been sent to the hospital.
“Uncle Yi, it is my fault. Knowing that Little Aunt don’t know how to ride horses, I still rushed out to cheer for my grandpa, forgetting to protect her.” Tala kept his head down and felt guilty. Tana also followed him and stood next to Tala. Seeing that Xia Xiaoluo was sent to the emergency room, Tana was frightened and she almost cried.
“Why are you still so young and naive? You are always indulged in having fun!” Mu Ren shouted to his grandchildren and felt guilty.
Being scolded by Mu Ren, Tana burst into tears at once.
“Kneel down!” Mu Ren shouted.
The twins obeyed and knelt at once.
Ling Tianyi was shocked because he didn’t expect that people on the gra.s.sland were so hot-tempered. He pulled them up and said: “Stand up! It is not your fault. Your Little Aunt is so naughty.”
The twins were stubborn. They didn’t stand up. Ling Tianyi knew that they would keep kneeling unless Mu Ren ordered them to stand up.
Being helpless, Ling Tianyi said to Mu Ren: “Don’t be so angry, because it’s not their faults. Let them stand up! There are so many people here and it’s very shameful!”
“Well, don’t lose your temper to them for my sake.” Ling Tianyi patted his arms.
Mu Ren sighed and waved to them: “Well, stand up!”
“Uncle Yi said that it was not your fault, but you should take the responsibility! We had told you to protect your Little Aunt for many times before the horse racing, because she doesn’t know how to ride horses!”
“But what did you do? You are indulged in the horse racing and totally forgot to protect her! Tala! You ran so far away!”
“Grandpa, I’m wrong and I will never be so hasty again.” Tala apologized to Mu Ren.
“Tana, even though you stayed with your Little Aunt, you didn’t pay attention to her!”
“Why did your Little Aunt fall down from the horse? It was because that she didn’t hold the rein and didn’t step on the stirrups!”
“The accident wouldn’t have happened if anyone of you had reminded her!”
Mu Ren was angry because they didn’t look after Xia Xiaoluo well. What was more, he was afraid they would not succeed in doing anything if they continued to be so careless.
“Well, stop. They have apologized. It’s Xiaoluo’s fault, because she forgot what I told her. And it was nothing serious of falling down, but she kicked the horse out of anger. She deserves it!” Ling Tianyi was very angry. Xia Xiaoluo and the twins were all eighteen years old, but they were all unreliable and hasty.
However, he started to take over business when he was eighteen. He was rather steady at that time.
Finally, a doctor came out from the emergency room.
They rushed to him and asked: “Doctor, is it serious?”
“The patient fainted because she was kicked on the heart. She won’t die because the strength was not so strong. But she should have a good rest. It was so dangerous.” After that, the doctor pushed them away and left.
Knowing that many people died of being kicked by a horse, Ling Tianyi was relieved when hearing that Xia Xiaoluo was safe. But he felt heartbreaking when thinking that his little wife would suffer from much pain.
Several nurses pushed Xia Xiaoluo out and Ling Tianyi followed them at once. Seeing that Xia Xiaoluo looked very pale, Ling Tianyi was heartbreaking.
Ling Tianyi regretted having the horse racing with Mu Ren. He was unwilling to do that at the beginning, but he intended to show his ability after seeing that Xia Xiaoluo was so excited. Finally, the accident happened. He was guilty because he didn’t protect his little wife well. Knowing that she was unreliable plus not knowing much about the nature of the twins, he still asked the twins to look after his wife. It was totally his fault!
