Continuing to went to the southern part of the city, I was overwhelmed by how large the church when we arrived.

A marble gigantic structure, the is a steeple towers that stretches high up to the sky as if reaching it on both left and right of the main structure. According to what Reiss has heard the series of kidnappings, from Roa-kun’s mouth, the people that went missing just disappeared without a single trace, not even a noise. And to the other Spirit Users who didn’t go missing, they just shrugged it off saying 「Well they just disappeared into nowhere」.

There are a lot of unknown, somehow, it’s kind of scary.

When I was rubbing my arms because of the cold feeling, Roa-kun immediately noticed it, glancing at me with his round eyes.

「For having Suria-sama, the Spirit Princess this unpleasant news, please forgive me. The audience of the Spirit Princess to the Spirit Queen will be held on this year.  And according to the spirit envoy that the Queen sent, the ceremony’s date is not allowed to be change. The church is already doing its utmost capabilities to solve this case, but it seems that it won’t be solved that sooner by ourselves…. Whenever you go out, please make sure that Knight-sama is accompanying you. I personally think that staying inside the church is the safest since there are spirits around protecting it, and currently, it’s not advisable to go put alone.」

It seems like the ritual etiquette and the likes will be thought by the other Spirit Users who are responsible for the training. My real life as the Spirit Princess will be starting tomorrow.

The room that I was in is more luxurious than our house and the meals that were served were all delicious. As expected of the treatment.

But no matter how I cover myself and lay down on this high quality bedding, as the night grows later, the thoughts about tomorrow’s events are not the only one making me uneasy but also my anxiety about Reiss.
