On the carriage heading to the royal capital Razhausen.

“In that case Nito-dono since you can't use attack magic, why not learn sword fighting?”

“Sword fighting?”

“Yeah if it's the sword even a healer can use it.”

“Eh? I can learn to sword fight?!”

“Of course, the sword, bow, and even the axe. I'm quite sure that anyone can use these.”

Masamune had thought that his occupation was absolute in connection to the status' existence. That one was only able to use weapons fitting their cla.s.s. It seemed that somewhere along the line he had begun to think of this world as a game.

Furthermore, Aries had exiled him as an incompetent. However if that's the case then healers aren't restricted to just healing wounds. Masamune had been thinking negatively about this but it had just been Aries.

“Well then what about like throwing fireb.a.l.l.s or electricity?”

“As a healer that would be pretty difficult.”

Masamune's momentary hope had been crushed.

“Naturally there are individual differences, but the nature of the MP varies between healers who have a support role and those in an attacking role such as sorcerers.”

“But I can use [Enchant]. So like lighting a fire or electricity……”

“Oh that's kind of rare. However, [Enchant] only grants attributes to a weapon. Actual attribute magic is different.”

“Huh? Attribute magic?”

“[Enchant] doesn't actually require any kind of spells, therefore the lit fire has no magic. Which is fundamentally different from attribute magic.”

“I see….” For all Masamune understood from that it could have just as easily been in a different language.

“However a healer being able to use [Enchant] is indeed rare. This being the case I definitely recommend you learn the sword.

” Learn the sword huh…. That's probably for the best then. ”

” If you don't mind, I could teach you? ” His expression seemed a bit full of himself.

However Masamune had no other choice, it's not as if he could learn it himself. He was not looking forward to this.

We arrived at a small village named Tanya village.
For now we will rest here then head out for the capital again tomorrow.

However, soon after arriving I felt something off about this village. The residents were all gathered in front of a house making some kind of fuss.

“I'll go talk to them.” Sierra said.

She's probably used to this so I decided to leave it to her.

“Excuse me, what's all the fuss about?”

“Who are you?” An old man was revealed among the group.

“My apologies, we are on our way to the capital, if it's alright we would like to stay here for the night.”

“I see you're on a trip.”

After giving their names they were led to what seemed to be a meeting hall. It appeared that the old man was the village chief and had not rejected them.

“Would you mind if I ask the reason behind that fuss earlier?”

William cut into the silence.

Listening to the conversation it seemed as though this village had been hit by bandits.

“Our daughters have been taken, even the children.”

The chief's voice was filled with sorrow. It seemed that earlier they were planning to attack the bandits. That was probably the plan.

“While we were out hunting our women were all taken, Jack told us what happened.” One of the villagers answered. “Jack is six, when he was small, his father was attacked by a hunting wolf so he lives here with his mother.”

Jack's mother had been taken as well.

“Bandits are different from thieves, they often have connections to a slave trader. In other words, we don't have much time before someone comes to pick them up, we need to help them soon. Do you know where they went?”

Sierra looked at the villagers but they all shook their heads.

” I know. ” A young boy called out.

” Jack, you're not sleeping?”

” No. ”

” Jack, is it true? Do you really know where they are? ”

” Yeah I followed them, I saw them put mommy and Lili into jail.”

Jack desperately explained what he had seen. It seemed Lili was a little girl about the same age as Jack.

” I see, then we need to move quickly. Jack-dono, can you show us the way?”

The chief spoke.” Jack is just a child. ” The usual line said in this situation. And so, it seems that Jack will show us to the bandit's camp.
