“I just want you to help me out a little, that's all.” Seig drew his sword as he said this.

“Are you crazy?”

“Nope, I'm totally fine.”

He said as he laughed fearlessly. This guy is totally broken, and to top it off he's a battle enthusiast?

I pulled the snake sword free of it's scabbard.
It sounds more impressive than it was as I had no idea how to use a sword.

“What kind of stance is that? You're wide open.”

“Oh, is Mr. Handsome displeased with it?”

Of course I had no knowledge regarding swordplay so I had know way of knowing.

The blonde girl began to yell something as though she was telling him to stop, but it didn't look as though he cared.

“[Fireball]!”

Fire came to life on his right fist, he shook his hand sending countless fireb.a.l.l.s flying towards me. In a single stroke he had thrown thrown an innumerable amount. It was the first time I'd seen such magic, he managed it so easily. If I wasn't a healer, would I have been able to accomplish something like this?

With that, I activated [G.o.d Speed].

“So, you can avoid that as well huh, well then, what about this! [Flame Hammer!]”

A huge magic circle appeared around Seig's feet.

“Seig you're taking this too far! Are you trying to kill him!?”

The red haired man seemed to be trying to appeal to Seig.

“Either way this guy heard what we were talking about, he shouldn't be alive.”

This is bad, something tells me this is really bad. A giant fireball appeared over Seig's head with tremendous momentum.

“Seig said it.”

I put the sword away into my storage s.p.a.ce.

“What, you even have a Dimensional storage s.p.a.ce?! Forget it, I'm not even surprised anymore. Although, why did you out your sword away? What, you want to beg for your life?”

“I'm not much of a swordsman but before that, did you just say beg for my life?”

“Yeah, what did you not hear me?”

The moment was so great the plants began to shake in the hot wind produced by the fireball.

“Hey what's your occupation? I'm curious.”

“Well, there's no way I'm telling you is there?”

Your occupation isn't something you can tell someone so easily is it. It's not really a big deal though.

“Yeah, that's what I figured.”

Since we're all gathered here I decided to activate [Evil Eye of Truth] and take a peak at Seig's status.

The level should be just as low for the rest of these guys too.

“I'm so jealous, you can use magic like that so easily.”
“You say some strange things, it totally sounds Iike you can't use magic.”
“Yeah, I can't use that but.”
“Stop f.u.c.king with me! After letting us see that kind of agility you say you can't use swords or magic? Apparently you just like s.c.r.e.w.i.n.g with people.”
“I can use magic. It's just healing magic.”

Seig's eyes glazed over. The giant fireball roared as it came closer.

“[Soul break]!” I chanted it instantly.

Immediately after the fireball that should have been immanent, was sucked inside itself and disappeared. The magic circle around Seig broke apart as though it was gla.s.s.

“…….Impossible.”

Seig was rooted to the spot unable to swallow what had just happened.

As to why I can use this magic, has to do with that dark staircase after saying goodbye to Shawn. I felt better after getting drunk on wine but, I still wanted to destroy that dark narrow staircase. However, I had no good magic to accomplish such a thing. So I used mischief inversion.

At that time I inverted [Enchant] and [soul break] appeared on my status.
According to the ability it's used for technique destruction. In other words, it can erase magic or so I guessed anyway, the explanation only said “Destroy techniques”.

The result when using the magic seemed pretty obvious. Although, since I don't actually know what the word ‘technique' means in this context I guess I could have misunderstood. I also had no idea as to the conditions for it's use, such as the range or scale of the technique. After all, in reality I had no idea what it was until I used it in an actual battle. Usually it would be too late and your arm would be bitten or you would've been stabbed through the stomach. However, heaven is on my side.

“SERVES YOU RIGHT!!”

I couldn't control my emotions and ended up shouting.

By the way, being able to use that magic isn't normal, you can tell by looking at that aggravatingly handsome guys facial expression.

Furthermore, with the activation of [G.o.d Speed] their eyes can't track me. In comparison to that guy who let out that crazy large fireball being level 48, my level is 697. In other words, at the moment, I'm the strongest!

Even if I'm not the strongest I'm no longer weak, I should be reasonably strong.

“Hey handsome.” I moved closer to Seig step by step. “Are you prepared to die here?”

No sound of frustration came out, he just stared at me.

“You started it. Even so I had a kind heart and let that girl go. In spite of that you attacked me from behind my back. You get it right?”

As if admitting defeat Seig fell to his knees.

“You…… destroyed my technique?”
“Oh, you're quite knowledgeable aren't you.”

Apparently he knows something about the magic I used.

“Monster.”
“Monster? Hey I'm a genuine human you know. That doesn't even matter, you attacked me, you're the monster.”

That was something I had to say.

It was then that I noticed the blonde woman looking at me. I turned my gaze back to Seig but I had a strange feeling in my chest. I should know what feeling this is, this horrible feeling. I was convinced when the blonde woman tried to come between Seig and I.

“Please. Please overlook him. His important to us, he's an important companion.”

She begged with tears in her eyes.

Suddenly I remembered all those times Saeki used to say “Go buy me lunch!”. I refused once, at first, but I was beaten over and over again because of it. I understood why I remembered this now, I had turned into Saeki.

“I look like the bad guy here don't I…?”

Yeah….
This guy has friends, companions, and I have no one.

They said nothing as a turned to leave but once my back was turned Seig spoke up again.

“Wait a minute.” He stood up.

“I'm getting real tired of hearing you talk.”

“I'm sorry I attacked you but I knew you weren't normal. That's why I thought it would be easy for you to avoid something like that.”

“What the h.e.l.l are you saying, if I was any slower I would have been burned.”

“I'm very sorry. I didn't mean any harm, I had no intention of killing you.”

“…..” It sure seemed like he wanted to kill me.

“Hey you wanna be my friend?”

“Wha…?”

What the heck is he spouting out all of a sudden?

“Are you an idiot?”

“Seig! You-!” The red haired guy shouted.

“I know, it's ok!”

“We belong to an organization, but there are only four people including us. So we are on a trip to gather more companions.”

I was stunned into silence. This guy showed zero remorse.

“Not just anyone can join, we are looking for strength. There shouldn't be any problem if it's you.”

“Well this is problematic, but I understand. You didn't mean to kill me and you're making a fool of yourself.”

“Seig, he can't join us.” The blonde spoke up. “He's a good person. Are you ok with that?”

“I feel guilty but there is no time to hesitate. We have to gather the strong.”

“That being the case, what benefit is there for me? You didn't think I'd do this for free did you?”

Honestly I wasn't interested in killing them anymore. What can I say, I'm not exactly sympathetic. I just felt sick. The girl protecting Seig, seeing such a miserable person I just felt sick.

“What is it you want, gold or?”

“I don't need that.”

For a moment I looked at the girl next to Seig. Blonde hair, white skin. This is very much a different world.

“…….well then how about Eliza.”
“Seig!” She puffed out her cheeks angrily.

I see, they have that sort of relationship huh. Also it seems the girl is called Eliza.

It seems my bad habit of staring at beautiful women has come out again. I really should fix that, either wise I'll end up being called a creep in this world as well.

“Unfortunately there is nothing I want, and seeing as there is nothing you can give me I must turn down the invitation. Well then.”

“You don't have to decide now, you can decide the next time we meet.”

“What do you mean next time.”

“Take this.”

As he said that he offered a ring.

“It's how we contact each other. You pour MP into and we can talk to each other.”

“Eh-”

It's like a cellphone.
I accepted the ring.

“My name is Seig, this is Eliza, and that's Alford.”

After introducing the others Seig apologized once again. The other two apologized as well.

“We are the dragon's heart. The purpose of our organization is to erase corruption and bring peace to the world.”

Well this is a big reveal, they're like me. My purpose is to kill those guys but, included with them is both the king and the princess. What I've decided to do is exactly the same.

“I understand what you want to say, so for now I'll take this.” Loot acquired.

With this, there is no problem if I were to kill them now. Just widen the erosion range, but for some reason I can't take the plunge. I didn't want to.

When I put the ring in my storage the expression on the face of those three was very interesting.

“Is it that rare?”

“I've heard rumors but this is the first time seeing the real thing.”

“Well more importantly, what are you guys going to do after this.”

“We're heading to Greyberg.”

That name sounds familiar.

“We have information that a month ago there was a hero summoning in Greyberg. We intend to check this out and search for more comrades while we are at it.”

Oh that was us. Well, I'm not exactly a hero. Hmm? A month ago? I should have been summoned into this world just a few days ago, there's no way even a week has pa.s.sed.

“What are you going to do?”

“U-hm for now, I want to head towards a town.”

I looked around while scratching my head, we were in a meadow. A town was nowhere in sight.

“In that case you should go to Razhausen.” Eiza suggested.

“Razhausen?”

“You don't know it?”

Eliza made a strange face.

“It's the biggest town in this area, the royal capital Razhausen. We are just south of it, if you walk it should only take you about three days to get there.”

Three days…..
Although I guess it's normal in this world, a world with no cars or planes.

It appears that this place is near the country Razhausen, which apparently is separate from Greyberg. Well whatever, there's no guarantee that I will be successful if I go to Greyberg to take revenge now. For now, I guess I'll head to Razhausen and thing about what to do next.

“Razhausen? I guess I'll try going there for now.”

“By the way, we still haven't gotten your name.” Seig said.

“Right, I'm…..”

What should I say my name is?

“Nito.”

It was the name that Shawn had misheard but it works. Let's go with that.

I don't know if an alias is necessary or not but for now.

“Thank you for telling me.” Seig thanked me before we parted.

He turned his back on me but I paused before turning myself. I had a feeling there would be a third time but no attack came.

Looking at the situation, doesn't it seem like he wanted to be friends after all? Is this how people from another world are? I guess it's something I'll just have to get used to. It's a different culture.

As of now this world seems like a lawless zone. I better get to know more about this place.

“Alright, let's go!”

Feeling unsatisfied, I walked out of the meadow.
