My Female Prince 33 Visiting

Xiao Jun turned, surprised, as she saw two men walk through the garden gates. Feng Zhang Wei's wife and children had stayed in Suo as the journey was long and he was afraid his children wouldn't be able to handle it. Feng Li Wei had to stay as he was the crown prince and was managing his own affairs back at home.

"Big Brother! What brings you two here?" Xiao Jun smiled, she walked over and was about to curtsy when her eldest brother stopped her with a click of his tongue, "What did I tell you? I told you not to act so formal in our presence."

w.a.n.g Wei laughed and looked around, "Aye? Where is that husband of yours? Shouldn't he be accompanying you?"

Together, they all went inside the main hall and had tea together.

"Yun Long? He is out in court right now as he was needed by the Emperor." she sighed, w.a.n.g Wei rubbed her back and then said, "When he comes back, big brother will beat him up for you for making you feel lonely!"

Xiao Jun laughed and rolled her eyes at her brother's playfulness. Zhang Wei chuckled and handed Xiao Jun some more fruits. "Eat, you look like you haven't been eating."

"Thank you~ I have been eating though, maybe it's you that hasn't been eating that much." she pushed the plates back into the middle before taking a sip of tea. Yue walked in and glanced over at the princes before looking down.

As a maid growing up in the palace, Yue had seen the princes many times as she was always with Xiao Jun when they came around.

Yue was at the age of 22, still unmarried, as she served her princess, Xiao Jun. Feeling eyes on her, she turned slightly and caught the eyes of w.a.n.g Wei on her, who then gave her a kind smile and handed her the plate of fruits.

"Yue, you eat these, alright?" w.a.n.g Wei smiled, Yue quickly looked down and kindly declined but then felt the plate be put into her hands by him and Xiao Jun giggled on the sides as so did Mei'er.

Xiao Jun patted the s.p.a.ce next to her and pulled a fl.u.s.tered Yue down to sit. "It's alright, you can have them," she leaned close to Yue's ear and whispered, "You like my brother, don't you?"

Yue looked at Xiao Jun with red cheeks as she shook her head, making the two brothers confused as Xiao Jun just smiled and laughed again, confirming her thoughts.

Yue may have been a servant but that didn't mean that she was lowly, her family had voluntarily offered to serve the royalty of Suo long ago and everyone respected them for their loyalty as many of the family members had trained the Emperors of the Suo Kingdom and had been generals fighting in the wars alongside their soldiers. It was just some people that looked down at them, calling them dogs and claiming that they were lesser beings then animals.

Yue could easily stop being a servant if she wanted to as she had no contract but she chose to continue what she was doing.

A maid brought newly brewed cups of tea in and Yue recognized her as new maid that was still going through training, she glanced at the girl and the girl smiled softly before retreating out.

Drinking the tea, Xiao Jun set it down as she didn't like the taste and fragrance.

After her brothers had gone to rest in the guest quarters, Xiao Jun was going to bed but was then b.u.mped into by the maid from earlier. Falling to the ground, she felt a sharp pain in her stomach and she doubled over, clenching her stomach as Yue quickly reacted by grabbing the girl and pinning her down, calling for others to come over.

As they were still near the guest quarters, Zhang Wei and w.a.n.g Wei ran over to see what had happened. Zhang Wei, being the older brother, had helped Xiao Jun back to her room as w.a.n.g Wei stayed with Yue and handled the maid, investigating her to find out that she was from the palace.

"Go! Go call for a midwife and physician right now! What are you doing just panicking?! Will that help your Lady?! Go!" Zhang Wei exclaimed, he set Xiao Jun down on the bed and his eyes widened to see the patch of blood on her dress.

As he was getting up, Xiao Jun gripped his sleeve and asked of him, "If something bad is to happen, please take my child back to the Suo Kingdom with you. I don't want anyone getting their hands on my child."

Zhang Wei shook his head and brushed the hair out of her face, "Little Fourth, nothing will happen. Just focus on having your child safely. Big brother will be outside the whole time, don't worry."

With that, he left the room to go see w.a.n.g Wei.

"What do you mean that General Huo is stuck in the palace? Are you trying to say that he's been put on arrest?" w.a.n.g Wei exclaimed, he looked at the maid who was laughing as she was tied up. "That's right! That General Huo is a threat to the Crown Prince and his children will never be able to be at his side! Once his children are born, they will be taken to the palace!"

"What kind of rule is that? When has any child of a General gone into the palace to be raised?" Yue questioned, she glanced at w.a.n.g Wei and her face had a whole look of concern for Xiao Jun.

Zhang Wei, whom was standing at the doorway, had heard everything and he quickly walked over to w.a.n.g Wei. "Keep her locked in here with our strongest guards watching her. Come with me, quick."

The night was going to be a long night....
