"Go up the stage and get a microphone. I have something to talk," Huai Kebing ordered.
"Yes, Young Master Huai," Chen Tiansheng said, stepping across Fan Huaying onto the stage.
Fan Huaying reached out and grabbed Chen Tiansheng's arm and snapped, "What are you doing? Didn't you hear me? I ask you to get out of here!"
Chen Tiansheng immediately pointed the phone's camera at Fan Huaying and said coldly, "See clearly who asks me to go to the stage. How dare you stop me?"
Huai Kebing put another grape into his mouth and chewed while saying "Oh, Fan Huaying, do you have to be on the wrong side of me?"
Fan Huaying replied coldly, "I'm just on the right side."
"Think really clear about it," Huai Kebing said. "You're just a professional group organizer, and you live on people like me. Do you really think you can fight against me? As long as I make a few phone calls, your relationship in the entertainment industry will be gone."
This was exactly why Fan Huaying did not dare to confront Huai Kebing in Beidu Club last time. Not because he was afraid of Huai Kebing, but because of the nature of his profession. Another reason was that Huai Kebing was not a reasonable man at all, and Fan Huaying was not a man who could fight violence with violence.
"Brother Fan, just allow him to come here," Zhao Wushuang said aloud. Her voice came through the microphone and could be heard all over the hall.
Fan Huaying nodded and let go of Chen Tiansheng's arm.
Then Chen Tiansheng took his phone to the stage and stood opposite Zhao Wushuang. Huai Kebing could see Zhao Wushuang through the phone's camera, and so could Zhao Wushuang.
"Wushuang, I heard you took on a new play. Congratulations." Huai Kebing's voice was transmitted through the microphone on the stage and the whole hall could hear him.
"Huai Kebing, what are you trying to do?" Zhao Wushuang asked, pretending to be calm as she fought back her anger.
"What am I trying to do?" Huai Kebing laughed. "You're my girlfriend. Shouldn't I care about you?"
"Nonsense! I have nothing to do with you!" Zhao Wushuang lost her composure.
Huai Kebing countered, "It's not up to you, it's up to me. I'll come to you later and talk to you about our future."
"You shameless!" Zhao Wushuang almost cried with anger.
"Wushuang, I heard there was a charity party and you're the special guest, right?" Huai Kebing's voice echoed in the hall.
In fact, there was a lot of dissatisfaction with Huai Kebing, but no one showed it. When faced with evil people, most people believed "the less trouble the better". After all, the person being bullied was Zhao Wushuang, not them. They didn't have to offend a powerful young ruffian for a woman who had nothing to do with them.
Zhao Wushuang turned and walked away. She really did not want to see Huai Kebing, whom she hated and feared.
"Hey, where's Doctor Ning?" Huai Kebing's voice sounded in the hall. "I hear this charity party is auctioning off his quack medicine. Tiansheng, see who is so kind to buy Doctor Ning's stuff later. I will buy him a drink and learn from him. The world needs positive energy, and we should deliver it."
There was a total silence in the hall, but everyone could tell that Huai Kebing was threatening them not to bid on Ning Tao's delicate perfumed cream or ask Ning Tao to treat them. Chen Tiansheng was the guy he sent over to be his finger man. Huai Kebing would revenge with anyone who bid for Ning Tao's delicate perfumed cream or asked Ning Tao to treat him! It was ridiculous for this bully to talk about positive energy.
"Well, Young Master Huai, I also want to know who's so loving and learn from him," Chen Tiansheng said fawningly.
Then the video call ended.
The atmosphere of the lively charity party was spoiled by them.
Under the same night sky, on the top floor of the Weighty Heaven Building of the Tang family, Huai Kebing dropped his mobile phone on the sofa and stuck a grape in his mouth with a toothpick.
A second later, he spat out the grape because it was rotten.
Ding dong, ding dong.
Huai Kebing glanced at the monitor TV on the wall.
Outside the door stood a disciple from the Tang Sect, dressed in Chinese Tang costume, with thick, powerful back and shoulders and a fierce face. It was the bodyguard whom Huai Kebing's mother arranged for Huai Kebing. The man was very experienced and good at martial arts. Huai Kebing didn't remember his name, and he had heard his people call him Tang Jiu.
Tang Jiu was holding a box in his hand. It was sealed up, so what was inside was invisible.
Huai Kebing felt it was a little strange, but he still opened the door. After all, Tang Jiu was his bodyguard who was arranged by his mother, and was from the Tang Sect. So he couldn't make him awkward.
"What's in it?" It was Huai Kebing's first words when he opened the door.
"I don't know. It was sent by a motorcyclist. I've scanned it, and found it was paper. Nothing dangerous," Tang Jiu said.
"A motorcyclist? What does he look like?" Asked Huai Kebing, more curious.
Tang Jiu replied, "He was wearing a helmet, so I didn't see his face. But he said his boss wanted to be your friend, and knew Ning Tao's secret, which was inside the box, and you would know when you looked at it."
"It's really interesting. Give it to me," said Huai Kebing.
Tang Jiu handed the box to Huai Kebing and said, "I'm at the elevator. Push the alarm if there's something weird happening."
Huai Kebing nodded, took the box and closed the door. Then he returned to the sofa, placed the box on the tea table, cut through the tape with a fruit knife and lifted the lid.
Inside the box was a stack of flyers for things like elite tutoring shool, round-the-clock loans and a big discount for the opening of the Mermaid Baths.
Huai Kebing's brow furrowed and he cursed, "d.a.m.n, who would dare to play this joke on me? Do you want to die?"
Suddenly his eyes fell to the bottom of the box. There was a blank sheet of paper under an advertis.e.m.e.nt. He picked it up, and then looked at the white paper at the bottom of the box. For a moment he could not look away.
There was a puddle of blood on the white paper that looked like the logo of Trumpchi.
"What is this? d.a.m.n it! Someone is really pulling my leg. Don't let me know who you are, or I'll kill you!" Huai Kebing grabbed the paper and threw it on the floor.
Without any sign, an inky hole appeared in the floor.
Huai Kebing got a surprise, recoiled, and crashed into the sofa.
Just then, a man emerged from the inky hole and took a step and reached the sofa.
Huai Kebing's pupils suddenly widened to their limit, his face full of panic. He opened his mouth and tried to shout, but the man reached out and stuck a needle in his throat. When the needle went all the way down Huai Kebing's throat, the pain hit him, and all he could do was to let out a throb of pain.
There was only one person in the world, who dared to do this to him. It was Ning Tao.
It was Yin Molan who delivered the box. What Huai Kebing received was not Ning Tao's secret, but the convenient door of the Sky Clinic.
Ning Tao's feet were wrapped in plastic wrap, his hands wearing latex gloves for surgery, even his head wearing a disposable surgical cap. However, he did not come here to practice medicine, and his costume was to prevent anything like hair or dander from falling from his body.
"What... what... are you... doing..." Huai Kebing struggled to make the sound. As he spoke, he was already struggling to get up from the sofa and looked at a table out the corner of his eye.
On that table was an electronic device that looked like a mobile phone.
Ning Tao glanced over at what Huai Kebing was looking at, and smiled. "Are you trying to call somebody? Then say it out. Don't be so shy."
Huai Kebing suddenly sprang to the table.
Whoosh!
A flying dart was threw out of Ning Tao's hand and landed in Huai Kebing's thigh. He felt a pain in his leg, followed by numbness in his lower body. Then he lost his balance and fell onto the floor.
Ning Tao walked over to Huai Kebing, keeping a faint smile at the corner of his mouth. "The Tang Sect's poison darts are really good, aren't they? They work once blood wells. What do you think people outside will say about your death if you die because of the poison darts and needles of the Tang Sect?"
Huai Kebing shook his head desperately and begged in a hoa.r.s.e voice, "No... Don't... kill me..."
Ning Tao's smile disappeared from the corner of his mouth and his eyes became indifferent. "I said, now that heaven didn't punish you, I would punish you. The existence of bullies like you is unfair to good people. I came here today to fulfill my promise. I'll take your life."
"No... Help... Ahh..." Huai Kebing tried to shout, but the flying needle in his throat prevented him from making loud voice. His throat began to numb and gradually stopped working.
Ning Tao took out a plastic bag from his trouser pocket, which contained a dozen poison flying needles and several poison darts. He then took out the needles and darts and stuffed the plastic pockets back into his trouser pocket.
"No... No..." Huai Kebing already knew what Ning Tao wanted to do. He felt desperate and burst into tears.
Ning Tao shook his head and said, "You're so mean and vicious. I didn't expect you to cry. Had you ever thought about how desperate Wushuang was when you sent someone to throw acid at her? Have her tears exchanged for your sympathy? No, huh? Then your tears won't get my sympathy."
As these words were spoken, Ning Tao waved and shot a handful of poison flying needles at Huai Kebing. He shot the needles from close range with good accuracy, and those flying needles were all stuck in Huai Kebing's back.
Huai Kebing immediately convulsed, foaming at the mouth.
"Don't be a human in your next life. You don't deserve to be a human," Ning Tao said. Then he waved again, and a few darts flew out of his hand and hit Huai Kebing hard on the back.
Huai Kebing jerked a few more times, and then stopped.
Looking at him lying on the floor, Ning Tao did not feel happy to kill his mortal enemy at all, but felt uncomfortable. He killed a lot of people that night at the botanical garden of Blueprint Biotechnology Company, but this was different. That was a battle, while this was an execution.
Looking at Huai Kebing's body, he felt dazed for the first time. Was it right to enforce justice on behalf of Heaven?
However, there was no turning back.
These thoughts and feelings only happened in a few seconds, and Ning Tao soon calmed down. He took a lighter out of his other trouser pocket, placed the stack of flyers on the carpet, and put the white paper with the blood lock on the top of the flyers. He then lit the bottom of the flyer with a lighter, before he unlocked the blood lock with the key.
The black hole appeared again on the floor. Ning Tao stepped in, and disappeared into the darkness in the blink of an eye.
As the convenient door vanished, the flyers continued to burn. Soon, the flames devoured the white paper...
