Chapter 164: I Believe in Sister Tang
Luo Hua’s tone was stiff, as if he had already found the culprit.
He glared at Yao Tang up and down, observing her next move.
“I don’t have to steal questions,” Yao Ran continued to explain. “My grades have always been at the top of the cla.s.s, since first grade, and I’ve never fallen the ranks. Why would I do such a thing?”
Hearing this, Luo Hua nodded seriously.
After all, he was aware of the student’s grades ever since she had stepped foot in No. 1 High School. There was no need for him to wonder whether or not she had stolen questions because she wouldn’t need to.
!!“If that’s how you want to play it, then I’ll show you Yao Ran’s phone records.” Yao Tang shrugged and swiped at her phone. “I even have the transfer records of all the payments Yao Ranhad sent to the person. If you’d look at the photo, you’d see that it has been transferred all from her account.”
It was indeed from her account.
If it wasn’t enough, Yao Ran’s phone number was also on the record sheet!
The evidence was enough to a.s.sume that Yao Ran was the one responsible for this. Qin Jingfinally nodded in realization. So it was Yao Ranwho had bought the test papers to frame Sister Tang!
She was the real culprit!
Meng Yang and Lin Xinalso understood what was going on. They glared straight into the woman at the corner of the room, scowling. This woman really didn’t know when to stop!
Just then, someone had walked into the room.
“Why are all of you here?” A deep and old voice echoed across the room, and they all froze.
It was President Kong!
“Who called the Princ.i.p.al here?” Meng Yang scowled. Now that the matter had been blown up, there wouldn’t be much room for him to maneuver around in order to save his friend.
“Princ.i.p.al, you’re here!” Luo Hua hid the glee from his eyes as he motioned toward the desk. “You must deal with her immediately.”
“Deal with her for what?”
Princ.i.p.al Kong glanced at Yao Tang, noticing her cool expression. The other four standing around her also didn’t look too good, with furrowed eyebrows and frowns marring their faces. Xi Yanwas also frowning at the sight.
It was a tricky matter indeed.
“They’re slandering Yao Tang for stealing the questions!” Meng Yangimmediately jumped in to answer, running to the princ.i.p.al’s side.
“No,” Luo Hua interrupted. “We found a test paper hidden under Yao Tang’s test that proves that she has the identical copy of the test paper of this year’s city-wide exam! We suspect that she’s been stealing questions all this time.”
“Yet, Sister Tang has also found Yao Ran’s email records, which also show the test paper and the purchase of the test paper. It means that she’s also tied into this case, is she not?” Qin Jingintercepted.
As soon as Princ.i.p.al Kong heard the entire story, he stared at the wall and stroked his beard. They were both good students. There was no way that they’d have anything to do with stealing the questions!
A few minutes had pa.s.sed and he slowly nodded. “Then let the two students retake the exam with your supervision. That way, the results would be fairer. It would also prove whether or not they have cheated.”
“But the person under suspicion is Yao Tang. Why should Ranran take the exam with her?”
Princ.i.p.al Kong stayed silent.
Yao Ran finally took a step forward. “It’s all right. I can also partic.i.p.ate in the exam again.” She slowly smiled. “I’ll make you proud.”
“Okay!” Princ.i.p.al Kong clasped his hands together before allowing Luo Huato leave.
..
The exam was held in the conference room, right next to the Princ.i.p.al’s office.
It was a huge room, yet only two people were sitting right at the front. They were none other than Yao Tang and Yao Ran, who were already preparing to take their next batch of exams.
Surrounding them were seven to eight teachers, who were curious to see what exactly the pair were capable of.
They were teachers from different subjects, and they were in charge of grading the papers to ensure more efficient and fair processing.
Immediately, as soon as the exam papers had been handed out, Yao Tang breezed through every single question as if she were some type of machine. Her eyes scoured through the paper, a smile playing on her lips.
She had finished the English exam paper within 20 minutes. Within another hour, the mathematics exam paper had also been pa.s.sed.
Once the English test paper had been completed, Xi Yan took it to the English Teacher to have it graded. She then grabbed the Math test paper and graded it herself.
She wasn’t surprised that Yao Tang had finished quickly. After all, the two subjects were her strong points.
What they didn’t expect was for Yao Tang to get full marks in both of them!
Luo Hua had even taken it upon himself to review her two test papers again and again, but there was nothing wrong with their decision! She really had gotten full marks!
The teachers then began to grade Yao Ran’s test papers, only to see that she had scored 20 points lower than Yao Tang. At the revelation, Luo Hua simply gritted his teeth.
After the two hours, the two students have also completed the Chinese and Science test papers one after the other. They were finally done. The worst part was over.
The teachers who had been waiting at the back immediately got to work.
They calculated the scores one by one, their eyes widening by the second.
Luo Hua just couldn’t believe it. Yao Tangmanaged to get full marks right under his nose. She didn’t even cheat! How the heck could someone manage to ace the test?
Was he wrong about her?
Meng Yang and the others stood right by the door, trying their best to overhear what they were saying or at least look into what they were trying to do. None of them made a sound.
“I believe in Sister Tang!” Meng Yang’s face glistened with determination and seriousness as he looked into the cla.s.sroom window.
