Yao Tang simply smiled. “Teacher Xi,” she greeted her adviser before walking right out of the cla.s.sroom.

Even the police officer had to stand down and allow her to leave. After all, there was no reason to hold her here any longer. Everyone watched her leave with disgruntled gazes.

It was already time for afternoon when she had arrived.

When she went upstairs, she saw the students from her batch gazing at her from behind. They were curious to see who had managed to beat up the gang.

A few teachers came down from the conference room to check on their students.

Lin Xin placed her homework on Yao Tang’s desk. Beside the papers were a lollipop and a carton of sweet milk. “Here you go,” she said sweetly.

Even though he had already heard what transpired, he still felt a little worried about her.

“You shouldn’t be fooled by my sister’s appearance,” Yao Ran warned. “She isn’t easy to get along with. You’d only get into more trouble being a.s.sociated with her.”
